I made my opener , we exchanged a word or two , then I ask her about her name and she gives me a weird wtf look and goes 'Why?' .

How do I tackle this?? i dont know if you guys had experience with such a shittest, as sth like this is a pretty german trait..

This worked for me years ago when I was a scrawny twat with bad hair and clothes and pulled a much older girl who was miles out of my league and had my mates staring in disbelief.

I just looked her up and down with a bit of a sneer and said "don't flatter yourself darlin". She was putty in my hands after that.

This was a bitch who had self esteem issues but it could work with a more normal girl, simply say it in a more jokey, cheeky way with a slight grin.

Even though it wasn't calculated and it wasn't a pickup line (I genuinely wanted a drop of her water), I would still use it today in a pickup scenario. Works best if you have a 'rough and ready' accent.
