I was playing a gig at a university student union once, and the support was a singer-songwriter on acoustic guitar.

I thought I'd do him a solid and said "I was just saying how much I enjoyed your boyfriend's set." She guffawed with laughter and said "REALLY!!?"

I looked at him, and he actually bowed his head slightly in shame and embarrassment. That bitch literally held zero respect for him. I couldn't believe that he didn't call her out on it. I think I said something along the lines of "supportive girlfriend I see" but I hope that these days I'd fully call that bitch out on her behaviour.

Two stories, both close friends of mine.

One is two years younger than I am (I'm 20, he's 18). He's been with his girlfriend for about 3 1/2 years now. She's overweight, not attractive (a 6 at best), has slept around with at least 3 or 4 guys though there are probably more in her past, and is your typical atheist, career-minded modern woman. She's attending college in another state (red flag?), and after he graduates high school this year he plans to move to where she is. I can't see much good coming from this. I will give her the fact that she is incredibly supportive of him, and always went to see him perform when he had a show. Hope things work for him, but I foresee a messy divorce a decade or so down the road.

The other is one year younger than I. Closest thing to an anglo ideal in my social circle: tall, fair, handsome and in decent shape (lean, not cut). Two years ago went through an ordeal with a girl in his grade. He asked her to prom, she accepted but at the last minute backed out of it. Turns out he was just a rebound. He found out and was devastated for weeks. I still don't think he's completely recovered from it. What's worse is that this chick wasn't even attractive! She was probably a female 5 at BEST, while he's at least a male 8.

Went to his house on New Year's Eve most recently.
Absolute disaster.
She disrespects him publicly, shouting out his shortcomings to the other party goers.

I know a guy who has spent the better part of a decade single with only a short break in between where he had some kind of e-girlfriend (they visited in person her and there, but mostly longdistance/online). I attribute it entirely to never having gotten over getting dumped (and I suspect cheated on) by his college girlfriend, who was fairly hot and definitely kinky.

Sad thing is that the dude is built for lifting. With just some simple lifting he can be a total beast-looking dude. He doesn't work out at all right now and he has arms twice my size. He has no motivation and while he does help his family a lot, he just sets himself up for failure every time or doesn't even try. There's nothing holding him back really but himself.

I've offered him jobs, I've offered him help, he just won't help himself.

My friend was dating this chick for like ten years, still is with her. Both in their late 30s. She works odd jobs, usually more time not working. She wants to be a kept woman and wants buddy to get his own place, so she can have a "home".

She cheated on my friend, some slickster walked into the store she was working and sold her a dream. She took the bait, slickster got what he wanted and then dashed.

My friend took her back.

Now he spoils her more than before, giving her lavish gifts, money etc.

My friend feels he cannot get better.

In the past two years, one of my friends has wrote a love note to two (maybe more) different women on separate occasions that he had a "crush" on and put the note on their door.

Both didn't acknowledge him after that.

A close friend, well former friend, married a girl he loved in high school but who wanted nothing to do with him til they were like 22-23. She always kept my friend as her beta male backup boyfriend, she'd call him when she was fighting with her her BF, etc. So they finally got together, and she got pregnant shortly after. Then years later they got married, then had two more kids. She spent all his money knowing he'd go to his parents for money when they needed it (his parents are well off, hers aren't). Got him to pay for her to go back to school, and generally enjoy nice things. Finally she had him pay $10K for cosmetic surgery, tits and I think something else. Then she kicked him out, having squeezed every last drop. I've completely lost respect for him.

I think it's more the fact that being fat forces them into the feminist paradigm. "Fat is beautiful" - she needs to be able to believe stuff like that in order to justify and validate her existence, since no decent man is likely to do so. So she buys in, fully commits.

A friend I’ve known for a long time came out to me as a Game Denialist over the weekend. He’s always been pretty bluepill, so it’s not a shock. He thinks that because he’s got a new girlfriend that somehow means game doesn’t work. I know. Makes absolutely no sense. I hadn’t seen him in a while, so I decided to go hang with him this weekend. All we ended up doing was playing video games that night before hitting the bar. It was a good reminder as to why I usually role solo. The place was crowded with decent looking chicks, too. But being in the presence of him made it impossible for me to approach. He’s blown me out many, many times in the past with his cluelessness. He’s aware of game, and I’ve even tried him to get to read Roosh’s material. This was the comment that made me write him off:

“All that PUA and game shit is bullshit. Like, if you were to go hit on one of these girls, it wouldn’t work. See, its bullshit.”

This coming from a dude who puts zero effort in his appearance, has no game, and used to constantly cock block his friends back in high school. So of course to him it’s all bullshit. Betas don’t want to believe they can actually do anything to improve their odds with women, which puts all the power in the hands of the female. If they don’t “pick you” for “just being you” then it’s “cheating” and you’re “misrepresenting yourself”.

He’s basically saying that going out to a bar looking unkempt, after playing vidya for hours shouldn’t reduce your attractiveness. That’s bullshit. There’s such a huge difference in the success I have with women when I spend the day doing something productive, being social, and making sure I look sharp. But sitting there next to him, coming off a video game session, and feeling like shit by association, put me in the same mental space he was in. I think that’ll be the last time I hit the bar with him for a while.


Keep your beta friends compartmentalized. Don’t let the beta stink attach itself to you.

Its never easy to leave a good friend whether you've taken the red pill or not. I don't know why you would have to leave your "friend" to succeed with women either. Maybe he is blue pill or doesn't want to get better with women, you can easily accept this and do other things with each other. Theres a million other ways to bond with men besides chasing women, search something out or I suspect he wasn't really a "good friend" to begin with.

Back at school (age 17/18) had a friend who'd recently joined and was accepted into my social circle. Pretty cool guy, not exactly Brad Pitt but maybe a 5 and knew everything about computers. Always came out drinking with us, chilled out, etc.

Anyway, about 6 months later a really hot girl (8-9) joins the school. He's got the hots for her big time, but she's got DJ boyfriend so he's got no chance. Gradually he spends less time with us and more time being her 'friend' (i.e. sniffing around waiting for his chance) Changed his character completely to try to impress her (i.e. turn up the beta to 11), and even disrespected me and my friends in front of her to try to show his loyalty to her. Eventually Mr DJ gives her the boot and she's vulnerable, and gives in and gets with former friend. Talk about a mismatch. Despite his Betamax attempts, she eventually gets over her emotional fragility, thinks "What the hell am I doing with this loser, I'm hot" and dumps him maybe 3 months later. No idea if he even had the balls to seal the deal.

Soon after that he's making overtures to get back in with my friends and I...no way back dude, fuck right off. Now he's got no girlfriend, no friends and lacks the coolness to get in with the super-popular crowd. He spent the rest of his time at school hanging out with his cousin and no-one else.

Lesson there fellas: Bros before hos.
Every.

I distinctly remember years ago well before I got into game watching the king of beta movies Love Actually with my mum (non US spelling) and her friends daughters. There is a scene were one of the guys expresses his true feelings to a girl he secretly loved via silent board messages on christmas eve.

My mum said to me doing that would melt any girls heart and would be the way to win a girl over. The daughters watching promptly agreed probably wishing some guy would do that to them.

even back then I somehow knew that doing something like that would simply not work in "winning over" a girl so thankfully I never tried it.

My "friend" was at a really nice/expensive tropical resort surrounded by crystal clear water after a night of stellar food/wine with great friends (and an opportunity to game vacationing hot chicks). - College roommate/friend of mine is dating his high school sweet heart. She's two years younger so for the first two years of college she was still in high school. She wanted to break up with him but he saved the relationship by basically going home every weekend (2 hour drive one way) to hang out with her. As you can, he wanted the relationship bad.

- He convinces her to go to the same university we are at. She arrives and proceeds to quickly put on the freshmen 15 and followed by the sophomore 15 followed by the...you get the idea. Basically her weight blows up to the point where one time my mom was visiting our apartment and later when she was asking about my roommate she said "Oh he's the one with the fat girlfriend right?" I have another friend who also knows my roommate who asks me if he has a thing for fat chicks.

- Despite her low value she is totally in control of the relationship and knows it. Once my roommate was sick for a few days and couldn't do his nightly calls to her cause of that. She gets super pissed off and they get into a huge fight over this. During this time we have a party at our apartment and the whole time my roommate is hiding in his bed room because he doesn't want to confront his girlfriend. I stay in his room and play the first UFC game on Xbox360 with him.

- He's trying to avoid her but it doesn't matter since she comes in half drunk and proceeds to scream and yell at him saying stuff "go fuck yourself" and "why don't you go suck your own cock". She rambles like this for a while before leaving. During this browbeating my buddy is silent the entire time. After she leaves he punches the wall in frustration.

- The next day he actually calls her to apologize even though he did absolutely nothing wrong and she was the one acting totally unreasonable. To this day I am still super curious about what exactly he "apologized" for.

I have a friend that went from a complete natural player, notch count over 100 to settling down taking care of a divorced woman and her kid, leaving his highly paid job to take one at 50% so he could move to her city, then went house shopping with her to buy a house with her. Doesn't make any sense. On top of that, he went from a stone cold conservative to highly judgmental leftist. Before politics didn't interest him, now he gets in your face asking why you don't support homosexual marriage because they love each other too.

In college, there was a pretty feisty young blonde that used to hang with us. We had all gone through her at one point or another. The whole time, her "best friend" remained in love with her, but never got any. She was maybe 7.5 or 8, and gamed guys effectively.

She was the only girl I ever knew who boasted about between "spitroasted" by some surfer dude and his friend. They gave each other a high five as they railed her from either side. The whole time, her "best friend" watched from the sidelines.

She's approaching thirty and married him last year. I wasn't invited to the wedding. When I complained about the shame of this to one of my other friends, he said: "you're not still doing that game shit, are you?" His current girl is a 3 or 4.
