It mostly affects wallets that are not password protected.

Anyone running Electrum is advised to shut down the application immediately and update to version 3.0.4, though Bitcointalk administrator Theymos advised against rushing to upgrade immediately, to “make sure everything is settled”.

The issue also affected Electrum derivative software such as the Electron Cash wallet for Bitcoin Cash and a version for Litecoin. however developer Jonald Fyookball posted on Github shortly after the patch release that Electron Cash had been updated as well.

Have you guys heard of the Exodus wallet? Is it any better? I usually store some of my funds on MyEtherWallet.com when I'm about to shoot money over for an ICO.

I used Exodus until I got a Ledger Nano S for Christmas. The main benefit was supporting multiple coins, although it was only a few of the ones I held.
It has built in Shapeshift if you need to do a quick exchange between supported coins (though I think Shapeshift doesn't generally give you a great exchange rate), while on the other hand lacking an advanced feature like setting your own transaction fee.

I haven't heard about any security disasters with Exodus yet. That said, get a Ledger.
