I read a lot about what it's like to be a PUA wtih options from those who are at the top. But, if you're just starting out, it's hard to square some of the info with the beginners situation. There are some real leaps of faith that have to be taken. Kind of like Zen.. I could follow what some guru who recommends staring at a wall for 14 years to reach enlightenment. But why should I stake all that time and effort in what this one person says is true?

There are a few things like that in game.

Life of abundance. This can't be faked. Girls can tell if you're not really living it. So, how do you "fake it 'til you make it"?

Also, wasting time and energy putting up with some woman's problems/shit testing just to get her pussy. This doesn't make sense. Game isn't even about sex. It's about getting to sex, right? In poker, they recommend folding if you're dealt a lame hand. Is it being a pussy to pass on the shit testing girls who aren't super hot?

Any helpful words about bridging the gap between the ideal situation and reality are appreciated.
