RE: Iranian Revolution Thread
^ Foreign policy is one thing that I don't really mind of the current regime in Iran, but internally things are really shit.

I mean, there is so much more social freedom in even Syria and Lebanon compared to Iran. I strongly believe, if Mullahs incorporated some sort of liberal reforms, then 80% of the people would be happy. Forced hijab, women not allowed in stadiums, oil $$ and natural resources being spent on Arab countries that mostly hate Iranians (Despite Iran sending so much $$ to Syria and saving their country from ISIS, when Syria played Iran in the World Cup qualifier match in Tehran, Syrian players endlessly cussed and swore at Iranians, mom insults, etc). Inflation + unemployment also hinders people as well. I am very wary and and cautious about hard revolution at this point as there is no obvious alternative or opposition leader and it'll come at cost of a lot of blood without us knowing where it'll lead (Terrorist group MKO doesn't count). A revolution needs a thought-leader. A charismatic character that inspires the people. If these protests forces the theocrats to give more social reforms, and with 60% of population being under 40 and very secular, then we'll see a transition of power and outlook naturally. We shouldn't look into societies and countries in a binary GLOBALIST / NON-GLOBALIST manner. I bet 90% of Iranian population doesn't even know what globalism is...All they care about is they don't have to get a visa to go to any country in the world except if it's some shithole in Africa, Venezuela or Turkey...or be able to walk on the street holding his girlfriend/wife's hands, or be able to go have a few beers in open with friends after work...or not have their natural resources money and national assets spent on people who hates them... and of course the BS with Palestine-Israel on TV news every night.

Here are some of the chants I've seen in videos:

"We are Aryan, we don't worship an Arab God"
"No to Gazza, no to Lebanon...my only concern is Iran"
"Reza Shah (Iranian Ataturk), god bless your soul"

Also, very surprisingly, I'm seeing a lot more pro-Shah chants than 2009 protests. Also a lot more direct naming of the supreme leader, as opposed to just "Dictator".

Also, for any positive thing to come out of these protests, Iranian people need the support of their celebrities. Footballers (Soccer players) have been leading the torch in some aspects of reform lately. Captain of national team willingly played against an Israeli side for his club (that led to his suspension from the team roaster), soccer players have been pushing for women to be allowed in stadiums by taking photos with hijab-less Iranian women and uploading them on their instagram accounts, many retired footballers also using Instagram to take digs at government spending all Iranian money abroad. Mahdavikia (the guy who scored Iran's winning goal vs. USA in 1998 World Cup, had a post a few weeks ago saying: "We had an earthquake, 1000 died, people have no heating in this cold winter, yet all our oil money gets spent in Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, and Palestine. Care about your people first!!"

RE: Iranian Revolution Thread
This was Iran's flag before 1979. It's an absolute disgrace that the Iranian flag now has an Arabic/Hindi phrase (depending on how you look at it) right in the middle of it.

How about this?

Make Iran Persia Again

or

Make Persia Zoroastrian Again

Good luck to them, it will not be easy to throw off the oppressive yoke of Islam. Of which is only becoming more and more intolerant of any half measured secularism. Perhaps someday they will remember their roots and cast that shit religion out of their homeland.

RE: Iranian Revolution Thread
I've been reading up on this the past day since hearing about it and my oh my is this a golden egg just ripe for the taking. I wonder when the watershed moments will come. Has the CIA and Mossad been caught off guard? Not a chance.

I bet they are currently moving this thing in the direction they want it to and as long as the Iranian regime is neutred without an opposing army from the US or Israel who cares about normal Iranians right?

Its not as if the regime won't start a fight or flight response like every other government of its kind? I'm already getting flashbacks from the arab spring, Libiya, Syria and Iraq and we all know how well those situations turned out.

Then we have Hezbollah, Lebanon and Hamas and dont forget all of those bored out of their minds Sunni terrorists and Chechen Sunnis just itching for a bit of murdering and destruction. iran doesn't have many of these types but who is against some importing of terrorism for the hell of it?

I was never a fan of the Islamic Republic, but those tweets sound like something straight out of Netanyahu's mouth. Trump shouldn't be making himself sound like some pro-regime change neocon by allowing messages like those to be posted on his account, or trying to go after the Iranian government at all. Not when we already have more than enough examples of what happens when authoritarian governments in the middle east get overthrown. I also hope that the hardcore Trump fans won't try to justify this as 6 Gorillion D chess or whatever.

This whole situation is starting to seem like Ukraine all over again.

US well revenged that “disrespect” by shooting an Iran air commercial flight killing all 290 passengers over the Persian Gulf, and never apologized for it, instead calling it an “understandable accident”. And not mentioning bankrolling Saddam Hussein with chemical weapons and arms to start a war that eventually killed one million Iranians. Amazingly, the war was the greatest thing that ever happened to IR, because it allowed them to imprison, silence, and execute any dissidents, reformers or protestors on account of committing “treason”.

US is perhaps the last country in the world who has any moral high ground to be angry at Iranian people.

Curious events unfolding. I'm more surprised that people are chanting pro-monarchic statements.

Could we see the restoration of monarchy in Iran under a new representative republic?

One likely reason is that Reza Pahlavi (son of Shah) is the only alive possible "opposition leader" that can organize protests and make them fruitable. Even for the Islamic Revolution, the leader Khomeini was in France for years when shit was going down, and only arrived in Tehran 10 days before the revolution.

The regime assassinated around 250 key political activities outside Iran alone between 1980 and 1996!! Not many people know about this unfortunately. They were too clever to get rid of any person who could act as a potential leader in such times. Interestingly Reza pahlavi was not one of them. I wonder if it was because they knew he doesn't have the charisma or he didn't know his whereabouts. But yea, Reza is perhaps the only "Alive" opposition leader that has appeal among some of the protestors and could organize it. The 2 leaders of 2009 protests, who were before prime ministers and speaker of the house under the current regime, are still under house-arrest btw...for all the past 8 years.
Without a leader and clear direction, the protests will lead to nowhere, or even fruitful will lead to chaos and years of bloodshed. That's why I stated earlier, the movement needs a thought-leader to be successful. My opinion is Reza doesn't have the charisma or nous to do it, and there is too much baggage associated with his father for him to lead this....and most people's nostalgic monarchic chants are for Reza's grandpa (also named Reza Shah)...the guy who basically banned hijab, built many universities and roads in Iran, secularized the country, completely overturned the infrastructure....but sadly during WWII he allowed Hitler and Germany to use Iran as a base for attacks, and after the war the Allies ordered him to peacefully step down or risk having his dynasty destroyed.

I have no love for iran or the muslims in general, but this map needs to be put here to remind people what the (((real agenda))) is here in destabilizing the staus quo in this region.

Iran is one of the last places on earth outside globalist control.

I don't know how far these people will push but there is a limited window to stop this before it becomes a snowball too big to stop. They've already killed people and have lost police stations apparently.

The iranians who overthrew Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi in 1979 did so cause he was under heavy US control and (((influence))).

If they now get rid of the current rulers, they hop right into the hands of the globalists who have been waiting for this moment for decades.
I wish there was a 3rd option apart from either globalist control or strict muslim control, but it does not seem like it.

^ Well, even the Shah started to get curious and ask too many questions just a few years before his downfall....I wonder that's why his opposition was allowed to freely and with no pressure organize the revolution from France, and Shah was overthrown at a time where he was technically at peak of his power.
