To be honest most of these stores are in fact, big net negative on communities, a lot are just fronts for crime with welfare scamming leading the charge. BLM is right for wanting to shut down these stores but again they have the wrong solution, the solution is building a community where these stores don't thrive by making cultural changes. Of course BLM just wants big government to harm the stores by removing their right to self-defense.

I can confirm all the above. Being from a shitty American city, I've seen plenty of decent corner stores (that's what we call the small stores that sell cigarettes, snacks, booze, etc.) run by honest Asian-Americans...and there were plenty that were just fronts for various illegal activities. Those activities ranged from food stamp fraud to drug selling.

If you're going to call it out, call it out. Pass a law saying any business owner caught doing that shit on his property gets their business permit revoked.

Uh, then why don't you pass *that* law? Like Number One Bummer said, go after what you're aiming for. Be specific and direct. Make the paraphernalia illegal, or do regular inspections for food stamp fraud and then punish those who commit it. Doing so avoids punishing innocent people--legit stores in dangerous neighborhoods where bulletproof glass is a vital safety measure--AND avoids public relations nightmares of headlines saying you're blocking blatant necessities for some businesses (bulletproof glass).

I was just thinking how some places probably have insurance requirements about the glass.

These Asians need to make friends with Big Glass (if there is Big Glass maybe corning or Anderson?) and get some corporate money to fight this.

Or maybe Amazon could use the ghetto to start selling beers via drone? Just make the drone self destruct or shut down if it's off course.

Philly is not your typical diehard lib city like NYC and Cali. Theres a big city/rural divide there that keeps a lot of very moderate liberal people from voting right. The Republican party will just fuck them if they don't.

Oh, they do. In fact, the Asian-American category as a whole leans as heavily democrat as Hispanics. Yet they vote for the party of high taxes, affirmative action, and cultural degeneracy at nearly black levels, despite being on the wrong end of the resulting policies and being smart enough to realize it. The reason for this is because the recognize that the left is a vehicle for stripping power away from the white majority, and they consider this as a long term objective worthy of the medium term costs. What other possible expanation can there be for the country's richest ethnic group to vote in the same pattern as ghetto dwelling blacks aside from a shared desire to disenfranchise the majority population? Steve Sailer coined the phrase "Coalition of the Fringes" and it perfectly encapsulates why Indian doctors making 400k a year vote similarly to welfare queens on the South Side of Chicago.

In other words, fuck them. If they want to play coalition of the fringes, let them enjoy the circular firing squad of diversity as well. I certainly wouldn't want to have the white man's racist bulletproof glass interfere.

Something similar happened in St. Louis when I lived there in the late 80's. There was a huge movement for stores to quit selling package booze in the Hood. The local stores began to restrict the flow of hard liquor.
However, St. Louis was/is surrounded by a semi-circle of middle-class suburbs.
Guess what happened? Bums began to take the buses or just walked over to the stores in the 'burbs where the booze was sold off the shelf. Unprotected. There were countless stories of winos who were apprehended downing malt liquor in the suburban stores.
The campaign came to a sudden halt. Don't know how that happened; I'm guessing some greenbacks slipped to the local city politicians.
I predict the same thing will happen in the city of Brotherly Love when the Asian stores began to close. I'll bet the store owners outside the Philly neighborhoods about to be affected have steel gates on order.

I was thinking about this recently.

We have high crime rates in the U.K despite our murder rate being very low. However it is safe to say that a lot of areas now are simply lost. Unlike in Sweden and Germany, English ghettos formed back in the 1980s during the race riots. Over time these became solidified during the new labour years, although there was some back and forth with gentrification forming. But this was compensated as provincial towns suburbs started going down hill rapidly, and now they are the new Brixtons and Tottenhams.

The effect of having such areas and criminal sub cultures is very potent. They create a massive drain on law enforcement, hospital, educational services, which in turn leads to demoralisation and bankrupting of the state.

You speak to anybody who works in these services and they will tell you straight up that it is due to the lack of responsibility permeating through the country. I sympathise with the argument that it is due to budget cuts. Although realistically even with a healthy budget, this would eventually be exhausted at some point. Because you can't help people who do not want to help themselves.

Why are you putting all South Asians under the same umbrella? The guys who run the convenience stores are not the same as the democrat supporting H1-B engineering/IT/medical nerds. The rich Indian's kids are spoiled bitches and they are the super democrats. Life is too easy for the co-opt other group's causes like being anti-gun, BLM and LGBT rights.

The convenience store guys are just trying to make a living. They don't give a fuck about liberal shit and are more likely to have a gun behind the counter.

In general Indians don't hate white people and wish to see them lose power - they actually respect them. A lot of Indians direct their racism to other Indians, black people and/or Hispanics.

Indians actually share a lot of traditional Republican values like being self sufficient and not relying on the government. The problem is is that the Republicans emphasise shit like abortion and sucking Israel's dick, which many Indians are indifferent to. Also, the Republican party counts on the support of Evangelical Christians, who are very anti-Hindu, why would an Indian support them?

I work right now with an Indian-American guy who's family is very wealthy, and he lives in a very wealthy area. He's a super liberal and he thinks most Muslims are peaceful. The worst thing is that this guy's background Sindhi and he told me he can't find Sindh on map. I told this clown that his ancestors were forced to leave what is now Pakistan because the Muslims were forcing Hindus to convert. He still doesn't get it.

As for the proposal - this is pure SOCIAL JUSTICE BULLSHIT. It comes from the notion that everything everywhere is equal. So of course it's racist to have security glass in stores which are for some strange reason robbed 20 times a year.
By that same logic it would be racist for American soldiers to wear weapons in Iraq. Because that would be Islamophobic and racist. They should be as little armed as taking a stroll around a base in Eastern Germany or Japan.

This will backfire (pardon the pun). I know Philadelphia very well and have visited the city every year for the past four decades. This will cause business owners to flee the poor neighborhoods like North Phily. And these ghettos will sink even further into a financial abyss - if that's possible. We can expect to see a rise in crime, tattooed hookers, and drug use. And of course, the accusatory finger pointing. It's too bad for the individuals there who seek a better life. But the "crabs in a bucket" theory is very real.

People in the wealthy spots (like Bryn Mawr and Malvern) will continue on as normal, sending their kids to private schools and drinking fine wine. On a positive note, the law should help to boost Republican votes in the state of Pennsylvania.
