The millennial generation, on average, have lived with their parents well into their 20s and haven’t had to cook for themselves at all, in Italy. Also Italian grandmothers are notorious for looking for any excuse to cook for people, specially family.

To OP- Northwestern Europe is very “feminine correct”, or “progressive”. This means, on average, one night stands are more common but they are much less traditional. Eastern Europe can be quite traditional, in terms of gender relations. You can generalize the rest of Europe by applying a gradient; from northwestern Europe (feminist) to Eastern Europe (traditional). This would mean countries smack in the middle like Poland are a mix of feminist and traditional gender relations.
