This is not surprising at all, the Home Secretary can do this sort of stuff unilaterally, and has done so before on numerous occasions. If you're a thought criminal they're going to take steps to prevent you from entering the country.

However, the debating MPs did not reach a conclusion or make a official decision.
The decision to ban Roosh was was done in total secrecy by the home secretary herself and not announced to anyone.
I doubt even the MPs were informed.

If you take the time to watch the video, it's quite disturbing. Of the countless parliament members who speak, not a single one dissents in the slightest. They all just compete to out-virtue signal each other... for 26 freaking minutes.

Think about it: A fundamental assertion of the debate (that Roosh and his followers condone or intend to commit violence against women) could be disproven with 5 minutes of research, but it goes unchallenged; not by a group of irrelevant SJW lunatics, but by elected officials of a major country.

That is either startling incompetence, pathetic spinelessness, or pure evil.

Came across the videos soon after they posted and have been waiting for the associated thread.

International Shit lord, yes. Fuck Britain I don’t even want to go there, yes. I don’t even want to go through heathrow out of fear of getting blown up. Yeah that’s all true.

But amidst all this, Roosh being banned from the UK, I think, is pretty unprecedented. Things have now gone to a whole other level. I mean the list of things he read off?? Are you fucking kidding me!?!? Banned from an entire country for that!?! The issue isn’t Britain itself....the issue is when multiple countries do it, and all it takes is one. This very well may be the initial steps of limiting movement of people in the brave new world that’s to come.

Was the ban in response to some permission you applied for? Or was the letter sent to you unsolicited?

As far as I know U.S. Passport holders can travel to the UK without the need to apply for a visa, etc. in advance of traveling. There may be a ban on individuals convicted of serious crimes. But as you and others pointed out, there are far more dangerous elements in the country the UK government should be focusing its resources on.

England is mostly a nation of sheep, getting caught up on media hype like its the Holy Gospel of this millenium. The only reason Brexit occurred in spite of most media channels acting as doomsayers to the idea was because so many people had been personally affected by what being in the EU represents. Meanwhile the vast, vast majority of the country has zero experience with individuals who are outspoken members of the manosphere - so follow suit with everyone else's assumptions that they are mere sex pests.

For everyone who says the UK is a good country to live in, I would like to point out to them occasions such as this where talking about banning ONE INDIVIDUAL is an issue worthy of Parliament discourse. The country is going bonkers, to use a word coined probably coined by themselves - or at that very least in popular use several decades ago.

Meanwhile said individual can reside here without an eyelid batted, most likely because this nation knows there are things of more concern - legitimate concern. The UK has indeed far bigger problems but they refuse to acknowledge them.

The thread topic has been a pivotal moment in my living here indefinitely unless I move to a different part of the globe.
