You do not like Barcelona ? ^ totally agree about Barcelona. Almost tempted to learn Spanish and establish a base there and play the local guide for the hordes of horny tourists there. Nightlife is easy there if you're long-term and establish connections

Ironic that my first post on this forum is about the city I live in.

Right, so basics about me: I'm average looking on the plus side, I travel the world for work (17 new countries last year, 15 this year). I spend on average 2 weeks in Zurich by choice (my choice). Been here for the last 3 years.

Statistically Zurich is the most difficult city in the word to get any kind of action. The official male to female ratio is about 4:1. When going out it's worse than that. The other night I was in a park with a girl and there were about 20 guys around us. What does this statistic mean in real life?
It means that for every girl you are competing, 3 other successful good looking guys are fighting too.
It means that every time you turn around 3 other guys could be making a move on your girl.
It means it's never your girl, it's only your turn.
It means if you have a convertible, someone else has a Ferrari. If you have a Ferrari someone else pulls up in a McLaren. You show up in a Bugatti, a dude shows up on a boat. It's really hard to win here with money.
The guys generally look really good. Fit, outdoorsy vibe etc. It's a very healthy city where most guys use bicycles to get around. Now to summarize it. The majority of population is in pharma or banking...which means 120k annual salaries are normal here.

Now onto the women. Hands down the best looking girls in the world come here. All nationalities are around. Most rich Swiss guys have been importing their wives from Russia, Thailand, South America etc as a result 3 generations down the line, the girls here are fit, hot and pretty amazing. However if you throw in the numbers in the mix, it basically means that the women put really high price on their pussy.
After travelling the world, and seeing what it has to offer, I can't justify Swiss pussy

That being said I met some Swiss girls in my time abroad...it's like meeting different people. Once they realize that they are just good looking women in the sea of good looking women, the ego drops and they are easy to lay.

I had a buddy who attempted a same night lay in Zurich two weeks ago...he's ridiculously good looking with solid game, and after trying all night long, he eventually took home a 34 year old 5. A huge accomplishment in Zurich! I didn't believe it was possible.

Guys be weary of Zurich. It's quite possibly the hardest city in the world I have gamed in...I'm planning to visit north Korea next year to compare (research purposes) but I think I'll be able to hook up there easier.

I have met a few Swiss chicks while traveling and they seem way too uptight. I could not imagine any of them going for ONS. They are not even close to their slutty and lets-have-fun German or Dutch counterparts.

Swiss dudes are chill as fuck though - down to earth and nice guys. I feel bad for them because they are genuinely good-looking dudes that have to deal with the shitty dating culture and women in their country.

I live in Zug (30 min from Zurich) but am not Swiss. One thing you have to take into account is that Zurich is a banking/finance city which means that it attracts a lot of young single men on good salaries. Zurich doesn't really have many "female" dominated industries like PR, marketing, pharma or fashion like London, NYC and Paris have. I notice that almost all the ex-pat women I meet are here becasue they followed a husband or boyfreind.

Coming from London, I notice that the women here are a lot more careful about their reputation and I don't really see a big ONS culture here, although I don't doubt that it does happen for the top guys. For example, in London I would go out and see loads of girls out with one friend (basically a 2-set) looking to be hunted by guys. The girls actually want to be approached and want the banter and the fun that goes with it. Here in Zurich I usually see Swiss girls out in big mixed groups which makes it much more difficult to approach. Funnily enough, for a people who have lots of money and love to travel, the Swiss (Swiss Germans) can be quite afraid of strangers and quite closed off to meeting new people.

The other thing I notice is that alot of the girls here dress quite plainly. I used to love going out in London and seeing girls all dressed up in tight skirts, high heels, hair and makeup all done up. Here I see a lot of jeans, converse trainers, no makeup and hair in a boring pony tail. I find this is more of a Swiss-German thing as in Geneva, which is French in language and culture, the women dressed in a much more feminine style.

Zurich is a lovely city with high quality living and very low taxes, but not a great place to be a single guy unless you speak Swiss-German and have a very deep social circle. It is a great place to raise a family once you've found "the -one" haha.

I lived in Zurich for a couple of years. Once I went to town with 2 girls. We entered a club which was swarmed wall to wall with men - they were standing there packed on every square inch. Then it turned out that it was a strip club/brothel, but even later I was wondering how the fuck are so many guys cramped in a shitty strip club? Sure - those clubs are everywhere, but do you stay in one being cramped like in a sardine can standing next to a bunch of sweaty dudes? For Zurich men that was an acceptable saturday night life experience.

I have tons of stories - one recent that should also tell you something. A smarter Ukrainian woman I know lives and works in Zurich and she has a 36yo colleague who is at best a slightly overweight Swiss 6. She asks her whether she isn't worried about being alone and childless. The Swiss woman responds laughing and saying: "Naah - I have plenty of time to find a good-looking millionaire." Those are her words and you know what? She was right - one year later she nabbed a good-looking bloke making 100k+ and having well-off parents. He had a slight speech impediment and was shy, but was tall, muscular and in the 7-8 looks scale (almost model looks so 80-90% of women would call him hot). And they are planning a family - that overweight 37yo woman and her millionaire prince.

That is the state of the Zurich dating market. Sure - there are cute girls, if you travel to the French and mountain regions, then the rules change somewhat, but still - gender ratios are shit or fat 37yo bitches would not have their demands met like in some feminazi-buffet.

Honestly, I think that you are exaggerating. True points are about the industry mainly focused on banking, IT and pharma hence male concentrated. Many folks with tons of cash. But in Zurich there are also many guys who are not really competitive despite flashing wealth and having decent looks. From my observations they lack game, many of them are too serious and focused about work, and aren't able to escalate properly with women. Generally guys far from being rich, but with an energetic and direct game were getting good results.

Back then I was not aware of Game, but one American banged his way across all kinds of Swiss girls. Most men don't have Game, that is true and even more so in Zurich. Gender ratios and the basic competition however will impact your approaches even if you are good-looking and have seasoned Game.

Honestly no experience at all in other German speaking countries. Nightlife is quite boring in Zurich, apart for a couple of venues with electronic music.
Italian and French speaking cantons of Switzerland might be better in terms of girls and in general lifestyle - not to mention the luxury and "gov" industries in Genève which help to balance the ratio and attract expats. But of course those cities are not among the places I would visit if I wanna have fun...
EE is in general better in terms of quality but nowadays you have to deal with the sexual tourist stigma that makes game more complicated as a foreigner.

I've just returned from my 4th trip to Zurich, have probably spent about 2 months there in total. I have close friends there and they're pretty much the only reason I visit. However last two trips I got one new bang each.

I can't agree with the general pessimism on the dating market.

Zurich has girls from all over the world, many of which are the first generation born in Switzerland. Every look you want you can find there. Pretty much everybody speaks English well.

Also, I've never had hard blowouts in Zurich, girls have always been polite even when they were not interested. In São Paulo, the same type of girl occasionally flips me off, yells at me or acts rude/confrontational.

Zurich people have money, most girls take good care of themselves. In my experience, the only exception are the University aged girls who are going through a rebellious phase.

The worst part about dating in Zurich seems to be the fact that it's a global city but still quite small. Socially, things take time in Switzerland because everybody knows everybody and no one wants to damage their rep. Both girls I banged I had met casually (socially, with friends; not dates) three times before banging - but once they were familiar with me it was zero resistance.

On that note, social circle is huge there. When someone introduces you as their friend to their friends, you instantly jump through 1-6 months of background checks, social hurdles, etc.

I can't comment on ratios with scientific precision, but even though I see it as slightly skewed towards more men (definitely not 4:1 in my opinion) it's the same story as everywhere else: it doesn't REALLY matter if the ratios aren't that favorable as long as you have your shit together. Sure there's a ton of good looking bachelors in Zurich, but it will always be 20% of the guys banging 80% of the girls.

Most of my Swiss friends are in relationships. Some of them cheat when they get the chance (especially abroad), but in my experience there isn't much cheating locally - again, everybody knows everybody and becoming known as a cheater would be terribly negative in Swiss society.

One thing to take into account is that some of the people I've met there are the biggest substance abusers I've ever seen. Zurich people are too rich for their own good and it's common to see them do way too much alcohol, pills and coke.

I've met a handful of crazy Swiss girls who fit the above. Some also cut themselves as teenagers (I don't think I've ever met a Brazilian girl who did that).

To me, the bottom line on the girls I game in ZH (20-25, middle-upper class) is: they're bored to death with Swiss guys and Swiss life, and will actively throw themselves at you if you're cool and socially okay enough.

My experience with Swiss women is as follows; Head to The Standard on sausage fest Wednesday, see them by the bar and open in German as you overheard them speaking it (not realising they're from Switzerland), get told to fuck off, fuck off for a while, bump into them again at the bar, make a joke in German, get a laugh and continue as if the previous encounter hadn't happened, talk, drink, dance... take both to my room and have one of the best threesomes of my life.

My other experience has been that of coldness when in Gstaad, not sure why I failed so badly with the natives at the time but when I head back this winter, I'll make a play again.
