Cant seem to understand this?
So, we all know daily new sexual allegations have been popping out - like Charlie Rose today.
Got me thinking - how are alpha males able to bypass all this and have women enjoy their advances? Is this what we call the "vibe"?
Case in point (and I am still mulling over this) -
A couple years ago Geena Davis (ridiculously beautiful in her day) was on Jimmy Kimmel and laughs about him calling her "Sooo whens it gonna happen?"

And then we have the Charlie Rose type allegations popping up daily -

Why the difference? Like, if a few girls came out against Jack Nicholson tomorrow, I bet that will only make the public (and other women) love him more. Whereas Charlie Rose allegations just make everyone cringe and shake their head.

RE: Cant seem to understand this?
What's complicated about this?
It's the nature of the allegations, what they reveal about the man's frame or lack thereof. These stories about men using their clout to try to bully women who don't desire them into performing sex acts, behaving in strange and erratic ways trying desperately to get their attention, and throwing tantrums and seeking revenge when they're tested only reinforce their beta, thirsty lack of game and cause other women to dry up just by hearing about it.
The Monica Lewsinky scandal didn't destroy Bill Clinton because Democrats turned it into a narrative about him having game, to the point a subordinate was more than happy to bump her head on the bottom of his desk. He even got applause for banging out the 1982 Miss America. The creepier rapey allegations were successfully buried and ignored for a long time. Republicans miscalculated, thinking the nation would be outraged by the adultery and perjury. If it'd been a story primarily about him being an awkward fucker who demanded women sleep with him "or else" and started whining when he was rejected, I guarantee you he'd have gone down another road entirely.

Reading your link and taking the story at face value, Nicholson put it out there confidently and was fairly direct, but took her temperature correctly and understood when he was being politely rejected. He even gave her a compliment on letting him down smoothly. Afterwards, they're still on good terms.
Compare that to, say, Al Franken, who, after being politely rejected on a clumsy indirect approach, keeps pushing, escalates physically when it isn't wanted, gets rejected angrily, keeps trying to stir the pot, then leaves a weird photo on her camera while she's sleeping. It's pretty tame stuff, but it smacks of stalker-thinking: "if you don't want to think about me, I'll find a way to make you think about me".
I think most people here will tell you that game is partially about reading the signs and understanding whether she wants you to escalate or not. If she's not interested, stop wasting your time. Nothing dries a woman up faster than feeling like she's your only option.
