Fairly similar in terms of quality and ease. A bit more competition I find, mostly due to the fact that there are a lot of Aussies there. In that same aspect, you also will find more tourists so you can get a quick lay from them occasionally.

I figured as much. The Island is known for hot white chicks with big 'ol Island Farms Milk titties.

I was buying some machinery in Nanaimo recently. I went back and forth a number of times and no shit the Cactus there is packed with hot white chicks. I need a bit of diversity when it comes to the poos but Nanaimo is great. Its an old biker city with a bar street like any good port city.

Blank stare. She retorts, asking why I'm bothering her on a 20 minute flight.

I'm pretty sure this explains all the rest, and why Catholics like me have such a hard time living here. Something really went wrong after my dad's generation came of age. The land and climate reminded my grandfather of Croatia. Go figure. I went on an evening hike up Mt. Douglas last week (it was renamed to something Native; it's no longer PC to call it by its Anglo name, apparently). I came across a group of men and women in robes holding a torch. Fortunately there were no children around.

2. The transsexual population is blowing up. I couldn't find any census data. I don't think the government records that. I'm sure the Ministry of Health considers that bigoted. Either way, I'm seeing them everywhere now. They're popping up on Tinder with a lot more frequency, classified as women. I had a convo with one and even got to the point of setting up a date. She sent me a video of her masturbating his penis on Facebook Messenger. I asked him why the fuck he didn't tell me he had a dick. He went batshit crazy and asked why I would assume his gender. I'm ashamed to say I really could not tell that he was not a biological woman until it got to that point.

3. The "normal girls" are really stuck up. The only girls worth seeing are American or Korean students taking classes at UVic. The better looking non-SJW/LGBTQ local chicks are either really stuck up or literal Dubai Portapotties.

4. Nightlife, like most places in North America, is designed for women. Darcy's, Upstairs, Sticky Wicket, The Local. Don't even dare cold approach or be prepared to get kicked out by white knight bouncers and bartenders. The best part of any night I can remember lately is grabbing a couple Whoppers from the BK Lounge.

5. The HIV rate is soaring. As a straight male this doesn't worry me so much but you just never know whose been assfucked by a gay dude. I've heard that some girls go home with known gays after a long night of getting hit on by Deplorables like me. The city is a cesspool in general so this just heightens my anxiety about having a regular sex life. I plan on being celibate until I leave again. A friend of mine was getting a regular test a few months ago and said he overheard some nurses say "it was going around like the flu." They chuckled casually, like it was no big deal.

6. Homelessness. This one just personally irritates me. It's not like you can't avoid them, but compared to the legitimate starving poor in Eastern Europe who lay prostrate on the ground, silent with baseball cap extended, these ones are usually high on meth or heroine (which they get from legal tax-financed injection sites), demand money from you and screech when you don't give in. The weather here is some of the best in Canada so naturally the homeless flock.

7. All this being said, there is simply no way I would ever consider raising a family here. New government policies in Ontario allow the feds to take custody of your children if you disagree with your own child's gender orientation (http://dailysignal.com/2017/06/27/new-la...deology/). This hasn't hit Victoria yet but given the provincial government has recently passed legislation protecting transpeople from "hate speech", it's just around the corner (http://m.huffingtonpost.ca/2016/07/20/bc...156.html). This is also the one government-infested town where I can see this actually being prosecuted. Public and private schools alike have now have official "anti-violence" policies, which cover LGBTQ/trans discrimination and hate speech (https://www.sd61.bc.ca/news-events/news/...schools/).

In summation, Victoria is a Satanic, culturally blank wasteland riddled with STIs and fentanyl overdoses. Thankfully, I'm financially secure in the long run, so I'll be moving permanently as soon as I can.

A lot of this may sound jaded, but that would just be a misreading of tone. I'm simply being sincere. It may sound like I'm bitching or seeking validation, but that's only because the city has changed while I have not. I have refused to make LGBTQ or female friends while the vast majority of my former friend group has "grown up" by "integrating." It wasn't always bad here, from what I can remember. But the difference is now salient. After having been gone for just two years, the changes really stand out. Maybe it's always been the same? Perspective shift?

Anyway, just a warning to avoid wasting your time coming here. Anyone else in Victoria feel the same way? Anyone else who's traveled abroad return to their old city to find it totally jarring, unbelievable?

I always recommend Toronto people go to Buffalo and Detroit to meet women (I'm serious, much better across the border). I know that Seattle is a SJW cesspool but is this something Victoria guys in your position do? (just curious).

I don't claim to be some guy that bangs 8s or 9s but I'd be hard pressed to find even 5 good looking women in the entire city of Buffalo. That place is a dump. One could just ride up to Hamilton if they wanted to get a taste of there.

You're the only guy on this forum that defends Canada. It is unequivocally a bad place for women for numerous reasons. Namely, half of North Americans are more or less obese (fattest place on the planet), it's notoriously feminist / leftist (most in the world on par with Sweden), filled with unattractive immigrants (Indians, Chinese), G7 country (meaning women make a lot of money "don't need no man"), poor ratios especially in Alberta, most unattractive white women (anglo / celtic stock primarily), black ghetto culture worship, etc, etc.

There's a good reason this forum exists, and that's because of men, like you, who have left the west for greener pastures, and they are greener.

Personally there's 0 reason for me to be in Buffalo over Toronto. All the women I found were either overweight black women or white women that'd been through the ringer.

I've been to Brazil a few times specifically Salvador and Sao Paulo and while I love the femininity of the Baianas (especially compared to a lot of these awful Toronto women) almost all the girls I met there hadn't a clue as to how to point Toronto on a map. First off, I'm not talking about Canada as a whole (especially not Alberta considering I've never been), I've only ever talked about Ontario and BC, the two most culturally diverse areas of Canada.. also coincidentally, two of the least obese provinces of Canada.

In regards to the beta thing, overall most guys here are too fucking nice for their own good. There are 2 types of guys that get laid in Toronto, guys that can play the Alpha male, intimidating role, use status, good looks, and throw their money around.. they do well with the bimbos and daddy issue girls (i.e. Tinder sluts.. shit I'm an average looking guy and I did a boost on Friday evening and had 110 matches, so that avenue is there for those who want it)... Ya know, Vancouver is pretty good if you're into Asian girls.

You have to go downtown for the real quantity and quality (in general, all the hotties flow downtown in any city), but, for example, if you don't mind ESL types there's a lot of English academies and always a fresh flow of foreign girls all year round.

These foreigners tend to be a lot more friendly and don't have the 'hard' or standoffish attitude or unfeminine appearance that some of the local girls have. You can meet girls who range between 'very innocent' and 'clearly wants dick,' but almost 100% of them will be pleasant to be around.

Also, Vancouver is actually a very beautiful place with a lot of sights to see and a lot of wildlife if you know where to look. As a local, you can parlay your knowledge of the city and surroundings into dates that cost as much or as little as you want, often times just your time + snacks + transport.

Its funny because I've found the Island to be way better than Vancouver for women but its been a few years since I've visited. I'm not a local so I'm sure that helps a little with the somewhat exotic factor over there. I think there are some pretty good places in Canada for women.


I will say this myth that "if you can crack Vancouver you can do well anywhere" isn't necessarily true in respect to the locals.
It is a different style of game.....anywhere there is hoards of PUA type guys is a red flag.

Its kinda of a more low frequency vibration game that works best here with the locals (I'm being fairly generalized with this ...obviously you get different crowds on the drive compared to yaletown etc)
If you are the dude that wears a ball cap backwards, has pretty poor fashion, juices up and has generic tatts you will probably do pretty decent in the city. Lack of culture certainly helps aside from the all inclusive resort style travel. The venues you want to hit are Parlour and Port Side as an example....anywhere where they play the bottom of the barrel hip hop music.

I know after coming back from my last trip o/seas what would have got me nowhere with local women worked the opposite.

I've heard the same thing from a bunch of expats (British/Irish etc) ...I'll stick with the Latinas/Persians etc in Van etc who at least can hold a conversation and are a ton more upbeat.

My advice in this city is don't try to piss up a rope and don't beat yourself up ....there are far greater returns elsewhere for far less effort.

I'm not surprised....I think everywhere there is always the grass is a little greener feeling, the reverse would apply to me for MTL, but I'm speaking specifically local women.

When I first moved over it was paradise, there were certain factors that changed with work that meant I wasn't around near as much.
I think you change to the environment after some time and I notice after returning from holidays being much more in the zone then slipping back into old habits.

Going through my list though there were very few local Vancouver girls .....other provinces or other parts of BC yes but not born and bred in Vancity. For the non locals and international crowd it can be good although I never see too many Euro girls come though here, probably due to the colder weather. (The only swede I ever met here I got luckily! )
