This line caught my eye after I saw the total was only 111.5. Some quick research on LSU's results this season showed that their season high for points was 84. This seemed like an anomaly, as their next highest scoring game was only 75.

Sam Houston St seems really bad. So bad, in fact, that they were held to 79 points in their last two game combined. That's OK though. My absolute worst case scenario is that they get held to 30. Even in that case, LSU must score 76 to beat me.

LSU held Little Rock to 37 in their last game, but were only able to put up 56 themselves. If SHSU can manage 35 points, I'm feeling quite confident. If they can manage to 45 (they dropped 54 on fellow SEC school Arkansas) it's virtually a certainty that they cover.

Indiana Youngstown St U 157

This has all the characteristics of the lines I look for.

Indiana has not cracked 90 points all season. Youngstown State has been largely untested against elite athletes all season aside from decent mid-majors like Montana (53 points) and Butler (67 points).

After getting embarrassed by Fort Wayne at home, Indiana responded by holding Tennessee Tech, a solid mid-major, to only 59 points. They also recently held offensive powerhouse Notre Dame to 65 points in regulation.

If Indiana brings their A game, or even their C+ game, this game is going under.

3 units on this one. I haven't lost a 3+ unit bet all season.

And finally, Miami Heat played yesterday, and lost at home (with a big margin), so morale might be low. On the other hand, Orlando had a day of rest. If you are betting on Orlando, keep in mind that they are a host now, which was not the case in the last game between those two teams.

One of the leaks I have is that I bet too many games. I post my best picks here and have been hitting those at a very high percentage. However, I make alot of other 1 unit bets that aren't as high of quality, and this is hurting my win rate. Therefore, I'm going to stick to 5 plays a day no matter what. If I miss a good bet here or there because of my rule, so be it.

UNLV San Jose State Under 149.5 - I seriously question SJSU's ability to put up points against elites athletes - 150 is too many. 2 units.

NC State +7 at Notre Dame - Bonzie Colston (Preseason ACC player of the year) broke his foot yesterday at practice. I wasn't that high on ND to begin with, and NCST has showed some promise. 1 unit.

St Bonaventure -2.5 at Dayton - This team has won 11 out of its last 12, the only L being a competitive loss to elite TCU. They've already beaten Maryland and Syracuse on the road, and have punished lesser teams by 15+. 1 unit.

South Dakota -17 vs Western Illinois - Western Illinois sucks, even more so on the road. Butler beat them by 61(!) and Iowa State beat them by 25. South Dakota is a very, very good mid-major who a. I expect them to win by 20+. 1 unit

Rutgers +19.5 at Purdue - Rutgers has already beaten Seton Hall, and was tied with Mich St at the half. They seem to play up or down to the competition they are facing, and have only been blown out once to Minnesota. A blowout is certainly possible, but I think there are many more scenarios where Rutgers covers. 1 unit.

Immediately breaking my rule for a game I found late.

Fisk +39.5 at Lipscomb.

Last year, Lipscomb beat an absolutely terrible Fisk team, who was 1-13 at that point in the season, by 83 fucking points. This seems to be the main factor causing this ridiculously massive spread. From the data I was able to find, this Fisk team is MUCH, MUCH improved. They only lost by 14 (and was even leading at the half) to Tennessee State, the same team that took Lipscomb to OT last month. Fisk is also averaging over 58 points in three listed games against D1 schools, meaning Lipscomb would virtually NEED to crack 100 points to cover. Also, I haven't even touched on the revenge factor at play from getting blown out in incredibly disrespectful, unsportsmanlike manner last year. They WILL show up.
