The media loves to use grossly misleading statistics on the issue of Islamic terrorism. Their 3 favorite tactics:

-"White men kill more people than Muslims in the US! White men are the real danger!"
No shit, white men are ~35% of the population and Muslims are ~1%. Can you imagine if a 1% slice of the population was committing as many murders as members of the majority race? Holy shit.

-"There were 95223458973450 mass shootings in the past X years, and only 4 of them were committed by Muslims!"
In this "statistic," a mass shooting is defined as pretty much any time a few gangbangers go at it. Obviously if they limited it to attacks on random/innocent targets, a very different picture would be painted.

-"Since 2001... [blah blah blah]"
Deliberately cutting out the massively impactful data point that would negate what I'm about to say... [blah blah blah]

My views on Muslim immigration aren't nearly as extreme/absolute as most of the forum, but nonetheless I can't stand to see so many educated people fall for these heavily manipulated "statistics."

The guardian and the NYC cops are funny - they make it so as if violent videos radicalized him. It could have been video games as well by that logic.

Of course it has nothing to do with the hundreds of violent verses in the Quran and countless others in the Hadiths and nothing to do with the history of Islam and Mohammed which had been seeped in blood and conquest since the beginning. That guy is just a good Muslim. This is what a devout Muslim looks like I am afraid. A Luciferian has to sacrifice an animal or a human sometimes or he isn't a proper one, so what's the big deal? He was just exercising his religious freedom!

It's a good thing that most Muslims are far far better people than their religion commands them to be and they are certainly better people than Mohammed. Though Mohammed was a simple conqueror. There is nothing wrong with being Attila the Hun - just don't make him out to be a role-model for humanity.

Self-driving cars will come sooner or later anyway, but the real replacement tech is still at least 2 decades away.

Also this will only stop some attackers. Delivery and various business/operational vehicles will still have to be able to drive there. Of course there will be exceptions for the rich and well-connected as well like in the communist times.

In addition - there is nothing stopping a Jihadi from killing a truck driver like in Germany and then driving the truck himself. Even a personalized identification system would not have prevented anything since the killed Polish truck driver was in the cockpit. You would literally have to have a facial and iris-scan identification device constantly overseeing the driver. Not only is this costly, but the internet connection would have to be constant as well. If drivers accept that, then they accept being chipped and are already activating a car by their implanted chip.

Call Islam the enemy as they treat the world and then act accordingly. That worked for the early founding fathers of the US who were flabbergasted to find out that there is a religion out there that gives rewards for killing women and children and calls for the enslavement of enemy soldiers - even castrating them and being all in the spirit of the religion.

Someone else posted this but I watched a documentary called Amongst the Believers the other day. Pretty nuts how there are schools which teach children to remember the Quran from a young age, brainwashing them into a life Jihad. From dusk until dawn they just recite verses over and over, everyday.

There was a dad who was too broke to pay for his kids upbringing, the dad was a muslim but not very devoted, maybe prayed once a week. Dropped off his kid there for most of his early life and then when we he came to pick up his son, his son refused to go with him because he wanted to do the will of god and go to heaven. Kid was maybe 8 years old.

This is the first time that I remember seeing "He yelled 'God is great!' In Arabic," in an article. A new low. Typically they will actually write Allahu Akbar, but evidently that has too much potential to instigate anti-Muslim sentiment? Really shocking how deliberately the truth is edited to make it palatable to the average American.

Basically we're at the stage where if the attacker is not a white man, his identity is concealed until the moment it possibly cannot be any longer, and if the attacker shouted some extremist sentiment or acted under the orders of such a sentiment, it is also concealed until it is all but inevitable that it be exposed. Finally, as long as the attacker is not a white man the problem is merely an isolated incident and a lone crazed man. Literally the meme the left uses to insult white mass shooters. Yikes. Of course if it is a white man, then we are confronted with "White Men: The Threat of the Century" or "Ban Guns Now TM."

The delusion is real.
