The other things I fixed: I sorted for already having a kid and I covered the whole country instead of focusing on one city. Then I hopped around the country to where the matches took me.
I won't necessarily limit myself to Filipinas, but a lot of them have a combination of features that really work for me. For the time being, until I retire, I'm tied to the western hemisphere so I'll be checking out Colombia and possibly a few other places. And even if I find that perfect Filipina I wouldn't want to live in the Philippines long term, so the quest for my ideal situation continues.
I understand, glad it is working out now. I guess you can always take a few weeks off to Phil if you want.
It's just after having had a Filipina I don't think I could go back to a European woman.
You could not live in Davao, Duke? Why is that?

3. There are some, but quality dudes do not grow on trees here. However, it seems like there is a sexy woman factory somewhere in the Coffee Triangle. Don't sell yourself short either. A not insignificant amount of reasonably attractive women would be thrilled to live a US-level middle class lifestyle with a quality dude who treats her well and doesn't have too many mistresses. Yes, the market is that favorable to men here.
This. Two comments.
Re: #2, half the women in Colombia become mothers by age 19. No joke. Their bodies bounce back quickly after having kids at that age, and you would never know. Also, the men often leave their women a year or two after the birth, because shit they're 20 yr old Latin fathers. They don't want to be tied down.
So you end up with these beautiful 25-yr-old single women who have a six-year-old kid at home. They're dying to leave the kiddo with their sister and go out and have a good time dancing, drinking, and fucking with a handsome gringo. Normally single moms are no-gos for me, but in Colombia it's different. I cleaned up with this demographic.
Re: #3, yeah. Every woman I dated there told me that "nuestros hombres son perros feos" (our men are ugly dogs) or something like that. The men aren't really ugly, but the women are definitely more beautiful. The bigger problem is that the men just treat the woman badly, by and large.
LOL at the sexy woman factory in the Coffee Triangle. That's the God's honest truth. Next time I go, I'm gonna set up in Pereira for at least a week or two and see what happens.

I'd consider living in the Phils part time after I retire. I'll give a quick rundown of where I'm thinking about living and the pros and cons of each.
Philippines, fun, English speaking spinners but poor infrastructure.
Thailand, good infrastructure, quality medical facilities but poor English.
Vietnam, there's just a vibe I love about the place but even worse English than Thailand
All 3 of these places make it difficult/impossible for a foreigner to own property.
Colombia, access to the US, ability to own property, and I speak Spanish, but I prefer asians to latinas. And it's probably less safe than the SE Asian locations.

A lot of them have some annoying habits and mannerisms. Hopefully I can find someone who has the characteristics I like and not the things I dislike. A lot of this is discussed extensively in the main Philippines thread.
I also love those slender, elongated, 'tall' Filipinas (above 1.63m), their fun character and silky skin. Unfortunately I am starting to think they are only good as temporary companions, not for long term wife material. Every Filipina I ever met was a project, not a partner. You have to teach them how to behave. They are bad with money, spendthrift and if you give them something the spend it inviting family and friend. Can't drive as a rule. Good at laundry and cooking, but generally lazy. The lying is simply terrible, moral behaviour and honesty, you might as well forget about it. It's a shame, because their silky touch, lovely voice, pleasing nature, as far as women go for the pleasures in live, there's none better really. Maybe that's just my personal experience. But it is what it is.

I suppose there is Penang, where foreigners can own property. I'm exactly the same, I speak Spanish but just prefer Asians to Latinas, and yes, culturally Asia is far more pleasant, secure, and interesting.
