Went out with a buddy tonight. I'm an average looking, maybe slightly better than average looking dude. He's a model signed with a massive modeling agency (Ford), amazing contracts with Hollister and the like. He has 0 approach skills or charisma, because he doesn't need them much as most heads in a bar turn when he walks in the room. My approach skills are quite good as is my ability to hold a girls interest/escalate kino just by being me. As we were leaving the bar, 2 girls called us over, probably because the saw him and no other reason. Happens often with him. I got the 8.5 tonight, he got the 5.5
I probably wouldn't have fucked his girl, maybe a bj. What would you say are his "obligations" as a wingman? Make out and keep her interested in him until I can get my girl to go to her/my apt and fuck? Maybe he has no obligations...after all I'd be the only one getting laid, perhaps we should abandon ship and find 2 girls single and willing...

Precisely because i don't rely on model looks. I rely on my personality and game. I think game will always win over looks. I was with 3 buddies of mine, 2 of whom were better looking than me. The wingman should occupy the potential cockblocker for a long as it takes for you to get the close you are going for. They are only obligated to hook up or fuck the ugly friend if it is conditional to the friend being wingmanned getting laid, and only if they are comfortable doing so. Otherwise if they decide to hook up with the ugly friend, that is their decision and you don't 'owe' them for going the extra step.

It is generally understood that if a bro wingmans you on a set, you wingman him on the next. However the rule still applies that whoever opens get's first choice of the girls. The only exception to that is if a particular girl take an immediate shine to your buddy in which case you should do everything to facilitate him getting in regardless of who opened and if you wanted the girl yourself.

In this case, you both got a girl, so there is no sacrifice to make.

Forget about the looks, you dont need them, and they are not helping him, because instead of pushing himself to improve socially and get the kind of girls he wants, he is comfortable doing nothing and just banging mediocre girls out of his own looks.

In another scenario, the wingmans job is to do whatever it takes to take care of whatever might keep the main player from getting laid, that might be entertaining the girls fat ogre friend, doing a quick condom run to the pharmacy, walking home so you can take the car, you get the idea. The mentality behind this that you take care of him, and in return he will take care of you when its your turn. If he has a tendency of not returning the favor, stop going out with him as a wingman.

As to who gets the hotter girl, whoever approached the set in the first place gets dibs. You can switch later if you are not going so well or think you have a better shot with the other girl, but only before you reach a set point. (If he picks first, and then after a while he gets blown out and/or thinks he has a better shot with yours and wants to trade, but you already locked in your target and have a fair chance of closing the deal, then he becomes the wingman and you are now the main player)
