guilty feelings ever acceptable?
1: I'm just like everyone else. I go out, get laid 3 times in one week sometimes, no new ones for a month at other times. Sometimes I meet a girl who I end up dating for a bit. Sometimes it's implied, just by the nature of the relationship, and although no one agreed to go exclusive, its also expected. At that point, I'd feel guilty hooking up with any other girls. I know I can, but I wouldn't feel the thrill of the conquest in that situation, so I don't. Do you guys feel that guilty feelings such as these should be suppressed?

2: Also, say you're in a relationship, and are going to dump her, but haven't yet bec she has plans that night w her friends. I think cheating on her then should be acceptable...in essence the relationship is over, she just doesn't know it yet. Thoughts?

The more interaction I have with women the more the guilty feelings go away. I'm finding more and more that none of them are worthy of any kind of sympathy.

That isn't to say there isn't a small percentage of nice girls out there that aren't addicted to the Dark Triad, but they're getting lost in the background noise of the majority.

1: It's normal to feel guilty, especially if the girl is making you happy. Personally I don't feel guilty because I feel that I'm not harming the original girl, but every guy is different.

2: Does it really matter? It looks like you're hedging on a technicality to rationalize your actions instead of doing what you truly want to do. Are you more worried about your conscious or the girl?

My conscience, for sure. If I was worried only about the girl, i'd never really feel guilty until I loved her. And in this case it kinda is a technicality, since the girl I'm trying to break up with tonight may not be able to meet me till Sunday, by which time I'll have lost chances to get with this other English cutie who I've been pushing off till this breakup is through...

Great post by Roissy on the issue of making women feel horrible after the breakup.

Hard not to feel guilty if you like the girl and feel close to her...but...most modern women will cheat on you if given the chance and they DO NOT feel guilty about it at all.In fact they discuss all the details with relish to their girfriends who usually encourage and approve of such behaviour.
So..If you get the chance with a girl you want take it.Forget about the main girl. She will do the same to you if you cant keep her happiness up to the level she expects.
