If you're going to adopt, definitely better to go with parents like this with kids already.

Many horror stories with infertile careerist parents (usually women) mistreating their adopted children. Usually burdening the child with a false burden of gratitude: "I saved you from starvation and death". Or not being satisfied when someone with different genes from your own don't behave like you do.

The problem with trying to dissuade Christians from this sort of behavior is that you'll get hit back with emotional appeals saying something like, "But adopting kids from a different culture into our home is a reflection of the Gospel because God adopted us into HIS home while we were still "aliens"/sinners/enemies/etc.!" It's a mindset that propagates itself through the power of appearing virtuous and feeling good about yourself, without giving sufficient consideration to the idea of whether parents from such a vastly different culture are really a good fit, vs. the less conspicuous but higher chances of success for raising a kid of one's own race, who will probably fit into the family and surrounding culture more naturally.

It's one thing if you're adopting a kid as a baby, another if they're a few years into elementary school like this group, and have already been acculturated into their home culture. As much as I hope it works out for them, I wouldn't be surprised if this goes badly. Either way, you're likely to wind up with kids who experience an identity crisis and associated stresses because they don't know to which group they belong. (I suspect many interracial kids have a similar experience.)

Has anyone ever heard of black Americans (Christian or otherwise) adopting children from Africa? I sure haven't. Actually, I struggle to think of any non-white adoptive parents I've met.

Adoptions aren't cheap. I had a friend who did this, and each adoption cost about $40k. They probably went into debt to finance this, and did the rest through fundraising.

They are going to be on every form of welfare- earned income tax credit, child tax credit, food stamps, energy assistance, state funded child medical care and dental...with that many kids you qualify for EVERYTHING.

See, the difference between actual Christians and fake Christians is that in the olden days, if you wanted to make a difference somewhere in the world you became a missionary.

You packed your bags, moved out to a different culture, and spread the Word. You became Neighbors and worked with them each day to help out. This is in imitation of the original disciples of Christ. Becoming a missionary meant you did not get special recognition from your homeland either. You basically disappeared and it would be decades before anyone heard from you again.

These adoptive "parents" want to skip the hard parts of being a missionary while enjoying the rewards of feeling like a martyr. They have placed heavy burdens on their actual Neighbors by requesting aid to help raise their "kids" in the America even though they could have, for the same amount of money it takes to raise 10 kids in America, helped 300+ more in Sierra Leone. Not to mention the heavy tax burden.

The more I examine this situation, the worse it looks from every angle. This is a sick woman masquerading as a Christian enabled by her beta cuck husband. She's doing more damage to people's lives than she actually is helping the kids due to the extreme costs imposed on everyone around her. She also makes the faith look bad and turns people away from Christ: "This is Christianity? A bunch of fuckin nutjobs who waste money...!"

That said, I have seen Black Christian couples who have been charitable to White folks. I've seen them take in White kids in trouble and help them get by until they are back on their feet. The idea that only Whites are altruistic is false. There are many good and loving Black Neighbors out there, but they don't write books praising themselves.

I can understand the situation somewhat. My wife's grandparents are uber liberals of white Scandinavian descent that live in Minneapolis (big shock right?). Anyways, after my mother-in-law was born her grandmother had a hysterectomy performed (or something similar due to birth complications). My wife's grandmother wanted more kids and her grandfather would only agree to it if they adopted non-white kids from messed-up backgrounds, and they ended up adopting 6 kids and this how it turned out (fake names):

1. Jenny - Black - Con artist/thief/kids at 16/kids are all the same

2. Jessica - Black - Dead in 30s - drug user and prostitute - daughter is hoe now just like ma'

3. Mark - Asian - Marine corp vet - conservative - hates most of his family, serious women and relationship problems. lol

4. Gloria - Indian/Spanish mix - Director in major Fashion company, feminist, nice person and good family/kids

5. Roberto - Native / Black - Army Vet, Fireman, conservative, family traditional guy, probably reading this thread

6. Mary - White - Uber feminist, straight shooter, funny, hippy, good family and kids

7. Anne (Wife's mother natural born) - uber feminist - hypocrite, although - very domesticated, serves husband well, raised my wife and her brother ok - Brother-in-law is a cuck/bitch

Some of the kids turned out great, and some did not. Thank the grandfather for improving the lives of the successful kids, and sparing society of the incarceration costs of the turds. The funny thing is the grandfather gives all of their money to the black family members that perpetually rip him off and manipulate him. It is the weirdest white guilt that I have ever scene. Oh, and he "hates white people" now. The worst part is all of the siblings came together to prevent their criminal siblings from spending all of his retirement, because he would gladly give all his money to these criminals.

Here's a question - why didnt the adopt the numerous kids in the US here who are suffering, left alone, or wasting away in foster care?

When me and my wife lived in Missouri, one of my old bosses and his wife were unable to have children. (7 miscarriages - all early on. Something to do with her thryoid.)

They adopted a white girl, and three brothers. Two of the brothers were hispanic and one was half hispanic/half black. They didn't write a book about it. There's no bragging about it. No, "Look at me and how incredible we are!"

The reason for the adoption were the kids were all from troubled back grounds. The boys had a mother who was a druggie and had various different boy friends at all times.

Key thing is they got these kids young - exception of the girl being five years old. The boys were all infants. Note that this is during the diaper change staging, the terrible twos, and all the unglorious parts of parenthood that people forget about.

The boys have something vastly important for every boy to have - a father. The boys are healthy, active, and will be learning various different trades from a young age.

Other key thing is that they respect their father. It's crazy how different it is with many other families where the kids even from young ages are filled with disrespect.

I know a woman in her 40's who was married to a man, similar age. They didn't/couldn't have kids and somehow adopted a troubled teen whom she somehow knew. Maybe he didn't have parents or something happened to them, or he ran away. They raised him from a fairly young age, throughout his teens. When I got to know her, she introduced him as her adopted son.

Turns out she was fucking him since he was 15 or 16. She left her husband for him soon after he turned 19 and last I heard, is still trying to turn him into a productive member of society.

I think it's fine to adopt kids of another race, but I was pointing more towards nationality. There is no reason they couldn't have adopted 8 Black, White, Asian or Middle Eastern American kids. From what I read, these people have no skin in the game in Africa.
