I am not trying to be overly critical, I've only been a member of this forum for a few days. I am not the internet forum type usually, but I am slowly coming to one realization about forums like this:

People like to talk out their ass.

A lot of the posts I am reading are full of, forgive me for saying, bullshit. I just feel like I am being lied to in 90% of the posts I read on here.

Is it the anonymity factor?

I don't want to quote anything or anyone in particular, but come on guys--let's cut down on the embellishments and flat out bullshit.

I know this sounds like I'm trying to be a dick, but I'm definitely not. I know other people HAVE GOT TO BE thinking the same thing as me.

I doubt 90% of the posts are lies. However virtually all dudes exaggerate and sometimes outright lie about how much sex they get. Just like dudes exaggerate how tall they the are or how much they can bench press or how important their jobs are. I take everything I hear with a grain of salt.

I hear you (though I think you can work on the delivery). I'm usually very suspicious of posters who talk tall and claim their "system" rewards you with streets paved with pussy ...but offer very little, real applicable advice.

While it's good to be selective and critical it's often the least time consuming to just ignore these blowhards.

This is the internet. Take it with a grain of salt.

I have found that certain posters will say things that ring true with my experience, and that begins to build trust with what they say about subjects I know less about. Mixx's dead-on descriptions of Colombian women, for example, makes me trust him more when he talks about women from other places. The utility is the thing. If a guy is telling you a lot of stories and not really telling you anything useful or applicable to your own life, that's when the alarm bells should go off.

Still, compared to most online communities, this one seems a lot less full of the flame wars and exaggerating that bogs down most of the internet. It's why I check in regularly.

I'm with Ajiaco on this. Yes there is exaggeration,eg I fucked a 9!,that turns out to be a 7 when pics are supplied-thats the normal excitement of all dudes. Most,let me go out on a limb and say the posts here are overwhelmingly true;maybe rooshes' has a unique bs filter that automatically bans outright scammers.
The pua guys,however,IMHO are looking for validation with their long winded tales of gaming and occasional hateration-I won't name names.

IMO, there's a strong correlation between BS and bad grammar/spelling/syntax. Guys who can't bother to write properly tend to be full of shit. Nearly all the highest quality posters respect the forums, and write well.

I guess it doesn't bother most people, but it does me. Writing like crap is disrespectful to yourself and to everyone else. It's like showing up to a nice party in sweatpants and a wifebeater.

Like any community, I feel like there's a share of bullshitters and exaggerators. I think in an attempt to impress the rest, some guys invariably pump up their experience, knowledge, or successes. That said, I think the solid, core guys are pretty reliable and honest about their failures and shortcomings.

I think men and women will embellish until the end of time. That is a given, but what separates this site from others is the quality of posts and the willingness of members to contribute their knowledge to other guys.

Read a few posts from a number of guys on here and you can see the good from the bad. This is the reason for the rep point system.

Nonetheless, as Roosh says, if you're not happy you know where the door is.

It doesnt even matter if here are some bullshitters around. You said yourself that you spot them easily and so probably does the rest of us. Where's the problem? I think that you can benefit from this forum in a great way, while reading some punks lying and bragging about some bullshit may annoy you, but its not really a big deal, or is it?

I'm on here mainly for entertainment and to learn a thing or two from men with more experience. If I can gain advice/experience from someone else' lies, then so be it, the advice is still the same. Every man in the history of being a dude has lied about some aspect of their dating life to other guys, myself included.

The only thing that really pisses me off are guys who negatively criticize another mans personal taste or style.

People who do that shit come off as fags and I hate effeminate dudes more than I hate insecure bitches !

Here you go. I'm posting this link here because:

1. The story took a fucking long time to write and I might as well put a link to it so that it isn't lost in some random thread about Indian women that no one will go to in two days.

2. I specifically emphasize that I didn't get a bang in this story. I told it because of a request, but otherwise likely wouldn't have. Still, I think that its a good story that instructs on a very specific conversational ploy that led me to hooking up with some dudes girlfriend at a party that they were both at. If the story was fake, I probably would have just told you that I banged her. Although, that's hard to know because I don't tell fake anecdotes. However, like me, I'm sure most guys here are okay with whatever anyone else wants to think. Anyway:

If people don't measure up to one's standards, perhaps you should check your own yardstick. Plenty of other options available.
