But as is typically the case with children from single mommy homes, the kids always take their mommy's side and dad gets all of the ridicule and blame and get completely isolated from their children. I'd like to know why your mom and her douchebag bf are so exalted in your eyes and your dad is a nothing to you. yeah, i do agree it's messing me up. Honestly, my dad and my mom's new bf are both very successful career wise. The thing that is fucking me up is seeing how in the past, the marriage was an equalish relationship but not, this guy completely dominates my mom, like the relationship is all about what he wants as long as he keeps fucking her well. I really agree with you, my mom is fucking up my outlook and viewpoint

Dad is fine. He's very financially stable and he's doing okay. The divorce was quite mutual too so he's not like broken up about that

I remember a few summers ago I came back here to California and after a late night bar session accepted a booty call to this girl's house that I banged back in high school. Compared to all the crap happening this is nowadays a small thing frankly.

Of course the sane solution would be for your mom to keep her bangs away from you unless her boyfriend/potential husband would want to be in a relationship with her/intended to marry her. But obviously she does not get it at all and swallowed the Cosmo/Sex and The City life plan hook, line and sinker.

There is no way to change her viewpoint, because she would just resent you it would not solve anything.

Best is to train yourself in detachment, stoicism and move out as soon as possible
