I've noticed it also. The Washington Post posted two articles recently naming and shaming Antifa in relation to the Berkeley protest. Looks like corporate media is trying to throw them under the bus to some extent. Perhaps because they're afraid the term "alt-left" will catch on and the left in general will end up being associated with those freaks?

They probably just got word that the feds infiltrated the C-ville rally and have copious amounts of evidence on their violence, like the tweets in that thread show. And now that the Antifags are about to be named a terrorist organization the Dems are all in CYA mode.
