Looking at that twiiter video is hard for me, but the older I get the harder it is more me to look at snuff and death footage. I guess kids make you less hard in ways. I don't know how Europeans have not gone apeshit yet. I'm tired to seeing this shit happen to Europe and I don't even live there. Spain was smart to get out of Iraq after the Madrid attack. I'd argue that their policy of non intervention is what kept them safe for so long.

I assume that everyone will be putting a Spanish flag filter on their facebook profile pictures to show these people that we stand united!

On a more serious note, for a country that has fought over 50 battles in its history against Islamic armies on its soil, you would expect that the Spanish would take this into account when considering how they react to the migrant crisis and horrific events like this. Not holding my breath though.

I don't see how anyone can disagree with what TravelerKai wrote. The general philosophy in the west seems to be that the morals we live by are applicable to every other group of people in the world, which as we know, is not the case. To many, it is a weakness, and these groups of people will keep on pushing and pushing knowing that large segments of society will make excuses for them, blame it on racism, colonialism, anything. Watching that video was horrific though.

I recall a terrorist attack very similar to this one that occurred in France. (Can't remember the city) More than 70 people died including several children. Seeing those bodies did it for me
