Cultural differences should be taken into account. I think - and I might be wrong, that you were dreading the date and only looking for the bang as opposed to genuinely enjoying your time with a woman you find attractive. I've found myself in similar positions. Not jacking off helps combat this

In my opinion game goes deeper than some guys realize. It's easy to look at this and say "obviously he should have paid the tip" because you are looking at the surface of what's happening and probably skimming through the thread before commenting.

The girl turned the tip into a hardcore shit test. What's the probability that she would have come up with a different shit test later in the date if he paid the tip? I think it is greater than 99% so we are back to where we started.

This was an excellent comment and I agree with everything although I still think this behavior is common among 8s and above. I think it shows an example of why so many game guys say they would go for 7s for serious relationships and marriage because the 8s come with too much baggage.

I couldn't agree more.

What pissed me off though, more than the fact she had the nerves to call me out, is that I probably missed previous warning signs prior to the date which could have warned me she's putting me on the provider spot or just treating me as if she's better. The minute she called me out on the tip thing I exploded as all of this became suddenly clear.

She canceled a previous date at the last minute (red flag) but did it after calling me on the phone and apologizing and setting the next date which did happen.

Our conversation before the date spanned over almost 1.5 months and did not go sexual... because we were busy, but there were spontaneous opportunities to meet.

I'm not good at text game and I only set the logistics, but since with this one it spanned over so much time, I guess some good text game could have helped me figure out where I stand prior to a meeting.

In my opinion girls usually date above their value, but not always. There is more to women's choices than hypergamy.

However, I agree that if you are dating a girl who is a little above your value then it is probably because she thinks you are above her value. In that case, I can't emphasize enough that there is very little margin for error.
