RE: Google internal memo on gender gap triggers everyone
Google is full of effeminate gamma (nominal) males and masculine (nominal) women. The dregs of the sexual market.
You might even be tempted to feel sorry for these people for having lost the genetic lottery and / or for being mentally ill. However, they believe they are superior to you, because they went to school XYZ and became fungible cogs at GOOG.

RE: Google internal memo on gender gap triggers everyone
As a reminder - every company that has a "Chief of Diversity" is an utter and complete social justice globalist postmodernist cultural marxist evil empire ship. The hiring at google is probably along similar lines. The bent would be even more male if meritocracy ruled. They probably check out your social media before they hire you. The young guy was likely just unawere of those issues because he was busy studying. Only at Google he was likely Red Pilled more and thought that it was a good idea to "innovate" things.
Of course this was laughable as an attempt - it was bound to either sideline him at Google or get him fired. This is one of the times where being a busy "conspiracy theorist" and researching all the angles helps save your job.
Looks like he could get hired by the alternative side, but something tells me that he is a true believer and honestly just tried to reform a "good thing". Good luck with that.

How the hell did this guy, who is supposed to be a GOOGLE CODER, have the time to write all this? Only thing I can think of is he was frustrated because there were too many women in his division, and he blamed some lack of productivity on them. In which case, he'd have a much easier time focusing on those individuals' performance individually.

As much as I hate academia, I am happy there is still a place where high-IQ people do not have to fellate MBA apparatchiks on a daily basis.
Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer. Good grief. I imagine she's getting a six figure salary for this position too.
This is the real reason these people are constantly looking for things to be offended about. Without the constant outrage the "Chief Diversity Officers" of the corporate world would have to go find real jobs that add actual value to our economy and not these stupid sinecures for the SJW crowd.

There are many young men in these fields who now know that dialogue is forbidden. And here's the funny thing that happens when you forbid dialogue.
If men are not allowed to second guess themselves by getting a second opinion and bouncing their ideas off of others then their internal dialogue is going to move extremely rapidly in the only direction it can take.
Dissent will become internalised and move at breakneck speed to the Right. Wage slaves will cultivate festering bile in their hearts in the knowledge that they are a voiceless underclass, and while they might slave away for the cash they will secretly begin plotting grander and grander forms of revenge, the fruits of which we can only begin to imagine.

There are a lot of people in this environment who tell themselves "it's not that bad".
Anyone who read the memo can see that it's a calm, if naive, attempt to make the diversity efforts more effective, and that he's being torn apart by wild horses for questioning the validity of the underlying assumptions, not for being "anti-diversity". It's now clearly that bad.

I posted about the memo on a forum that is unrelated to politics, and the forum moderator, who is liberal, immediately locked the discussion. The liberal establishment just painted themselves into a corner on this memo thing, and I expect that most of them are going to try to bury the story as quickly as possible.

Tim Pool has been around the Hacker/4Chan/8Chan community for years now and he said a few years ago the same crowd that supporte OccupyWallstreet and many social justice causes - and who were busy probably attacking sites like ReturnOfKings, that those very same programmers shifted to the other side as the Social Justice Cult came into gear.
The Trumpening also made former OccupyWallstreet supporters shift sides strangely enough, because they realized that the evil empire consists of the Social Justice Mafia who wants to stifle free speech.
That is something fundamental for men - those that block comments and fire people for Dongle Jokes or opinions - they get the whiff of the 4Chan boys. They are now almost fully on our side and this Google incident will only get more boys to our side as many will likely identify with the guy - single, Beta, highly intelligent, realizing the madness in corporate culture - and now getting fired for his trouble.
He calls it the "cultural civil war" now:
Slowly but surely many men realize that we are the rebels and the evil empire is Antifa and the Left.

This dude was a fucking idiot or he had no situation awareness. He worked for Google and internally distributed a document that was clearly in conflict with the culture at Google? What did he think was going to happen? He is a replaceable cog in a huge machine. The merits of what he wrote are debatable and well thought out , but his decision making is just not calibrated right.
Did anyone on this forum think he was keeping his job?

In keeping with human behaviour it will have the opposite. He was sacked based on violating their rules and those rules were created by who and for what purpose?
Did he go around harassing colleagues? Was his work bad? Did he have a secret account on Stormfront or spammed gmail accounts with Pepe or leaked sensitive info to competitors or 4 chan?
No. He sent out an internal message to the company to highlight issues within Google and the snakes zero'd in on him like snakes do.

He didn't, though. That's the real horror show here.
He wasn't fired for supporting Trump, for opposing diversity, for being a misogynist, for asserting physical dominance over his peers, for banging his drunken female colleagues at the holiday party, or anything even remotely "red pill".
He was fired for "perpetuating gender stereotypes". Solely and narrowly for raising the possibility that the reason women are not excelling in tech is because the nature of the position is not compatible with most of them as job candidates, and that Google should address those issues to make diversity programs more effective at incorporating women into the workplace, rather than relying on the fiction that it's simply their own "bias" against hiring them.
He sincerely thought he was helping the 'diversifiers' diversify their diversity better.
For daring to cite sources that do not conform their gender Lysenkoism, and for that alone, his career is to be hanged by the neck until dead.

Quote:Hal began the interview with a statement about Google:
Hal: Witch hunts are a well-known cultural problem at Google. The company is currently facing a Federal complaint filed by the National Labor Relations Board in April for interfering with employees’ legal right to discuss “workplace diversity and social justice initiatives.” The complaint alleges that Senior Vice President Urs Holzle and numerous managers in his organization actively stoked up witch hunts in 2015 and 2016 intended to muzzle low-level employees who raised concerns about the company’s practices. The trial is set for November.
Several managers have openly admitted to keeping blacklists of the employees in question, and preventing them from seeking work at other companies. There have been numerous cases in which social justice activists coordinated attempts to sabotage other employees’ performance reviews for expressing a different opinion. These have been raised to the Senior VP level, with no action taken whatsoever.
Allum Bokhari: What’s it like to work in such an environment? Do you think it damages employee output?
Hal: A lot of social justice activists essentially spend all day fighting the culture war, and get nothing done. The company has made it a point to hire more people like this. The diversity gospel has been woven into nearly everything the company does, to the point where senior leaders focus on diversity first and technology second. The companywide “Google Insider” emails used to talk about cool new tech, but now they’re entirely about social justice initiatives. Likewise, the weekly all-hands “TGIF” meetings used to focus on tech, but now they’re split about 50/50 between tech and identity politics signaling.
For conservative employees, this is obviously demoralizing, but it is also dangerous. Several have been driven out of the company or fired outright for sharing a dissenting view. Others have had their promotions denied or suffered other forms of deniable retaliation. Most of us just keep our heads down because we can’t afford to lose our jobs.
AB: Have there been any stand-out moments of intolerance at Google? Anything that particularly sticks in your memory?
Hal: There have been a number of massive witch hunts where hundreds of SJWs mobilize across the corporate intranet to punish somebody who defied the Narrative. The first one I remember is when Kelly Ellis made unfounded allegations of sexual harassment against her former manager, and Google terminated the manager in response to the internal SJW outrage. This was similar in intensity to the current witch hunt. Anyone who sympathized with the manager’s plight or asked for any sort of due process was “counseled” by HR and told that they were creating a hostile workplace for women and minorities by sticking up for a harasser.
In another witch hunt, an employee raised concerns that the affirmative action policy (which gives strong preference to women and minorities) could be seen as discriminating against white males. SJWs trawled through his ancient posting history from four years prior, found a stray comment to take out of context, and burned him at the stake for it.
AB: Have you heard similar stories from people in other tech companies?
Hal: I have heard two similar stories from Facebook.
AB: Do you fear for your job?
Hal: I didn’t even write the document, but I always fear for my job and operate with the expectation that I will be purged unless something changes. Talking to reporters is incredibly dangerous on its own, much less talking to Breitbart. And the tolerance for “microaggressions” keeps getting lower, to the point where everybody is walking on eggshells because they don’t want to be publicly shamed in next week’s Yes-At-Google.
AB: Your concerns about intolerance towards employees at Google mirror the concerns of ordinary web users about intolerance towards them. Many people now fear that Google, Facebook, and other companies are moving to control and censor their content. Are these fears justified?
Hal: That is absolutely what Google is trying to do. The pro-censorship voices are very loud, and they have the management’s ear. The anti-censorship people are afraid of retaliation, and people are afraid to openly support them because everyone in their management chain is constantly signaling their allegiance to far-left ideology. Our leadership (Sundar in particular) is weak, so he capitulates to the meanest bullies on the block.
This is beyond corporate policy - when a company is supposedly tech, but busy mainly "fighting fascists", engaging in internal witch hunts and even sometimes blocking people from finding employment elsewhere, then this could not be more evil frankly!
Also a sexual harassment claim is instantly proof that it happened - fucking A.

I held out hope, not for his sake but for mine and frankly, Google's.
I think it likely he knew he was taking a major risk by publishing this. Maybe not the extent of the risk, but hey: he is young, unmarried, obviously intelligent, and probably talented. He has valuable skills. There are plenty of non-converged companies out there. If he doesn't wind up being hired by Wikileaks or Palantir, you can bet there are big Pharma companies out there who don't give a shit about progressive bullshit and would be willing to give him a chance.

Quote:Here, I just want to take a step back from the memo controversy, to highlight a paradox at the heart of the ‘equality and diversity’ dogma that dominates American corporate life. The memo didn’t address this paradox directly, but I think it’s implicit in the author’s critique of Google’s diversity programs. This dogma relies on two core assumptions:
The human sexes and races have exactly the same minds, with precisely identical distributions of traits, aptitudes, interests, and motivations; therefore, any inequalities of outcome in hiring and promotion must be due to systemic sexism and racism;
The human sexes and races have such radically different minds, backgrounds, perspectives, and insights, that companies must increase their demographic diversity in order to be competitive; any lack of demographic diversity must be due to short-sighted management that favors groupthink.
The obvious problem is that these two core assumptions are diametrically opposed.
