It would be cool if members in London could get to know each other. I would enjoy going out with some of you guys, watching each other approach and just generally having a good time with people who know about game and approaching unlike my Uni friends.
We'd probably learn a thing or two from each other as well.

By no means a bad idea Walnuts but I suppose we are all too diverse a group for it to work straight off like that regarding our ages,places we like to game,locations etc. Why don't we start a 'UK thread' first where us Brits and other residents over here can discuss things that relate to game and our experiences in the UK,swap some war stories. Then we can take it from there.

Anyway as an aside...was walking around Gunwarf Quays in Portsmouth today and the short skirts were out in full force. Spring is here gents!

After 2 years in London, my summary:

Pros: Great vibe in summer. Girls from all over the world. Great place to spend 3 months as a tourist, a language student, or a year of study if someone else is paying. European girls. A real buzz and happening-ness, a city that's "gotta be done".

Cons: Stupidly expensive.. rent, food and drinks quickly turn into a blackhole for your money. Heavily Finance+Law-driven economy which trickles down into the high-end nightlife culture (bottle service, tossers and gold-diggers). Quite segregated "scenes". English Girls.


Overall though great place to spend some time. Having lived there two years, I am now pretty sure I dont want to live there again. Had some damn good times there but also some pretty depressing times where I felt like I was battling the city (swimming against the tide of rats in the rat race).

London is not Englanf. London is great in summertime, no point complaining about quality, London has chicks from everywhere, if you can't laid there then you are a Beta Minus.

I haven't done the nightlife in London for a couple of years, but Clapham is a lot of fun. Cool bars like [email protected], barsocial, 64thsocial, "souk" is highly recommended, it's a fuck fest in there, the loft, gigalum

For wild fun London takes some beating. I miss the nightlife there being in Ukraine, people are boring here. I wanna do cocaine again, see girls collapsed drunk in the street, bar brawls, drunken people on the tube, singing in the streets, MISS YOU LONDONNNNNNNN!!! ))))

This is true.Slavic women have a problem with teeth in general.They decay very fast.In Poland in some cases the situation is similar.Classic view of slavic woman in the nineties:Hot body,slender,stunning big bright eyes,high cheeks,thin hair rotten teeth.It was a disgrace to see such hot Czech women looking like models not having money to afford decent clothes and dentist fees.Now the situation has improved in CR but remains the same in Ukraine.

It is common with all slavic women.They look much better from far away till the time you get close and they start talking.This however is not caused by the continuous pose aka straining their facial muscles to appear beautiful like Greek women do.One day I may analyze this.Contrary to that Germanic and English women look the same away and close.

From a little town just outside London, have lived in Nottingham and Bristol for 5 years total too. Bristol's a nice place, espec to be a student.

Going back to Europe in the summer, probably live in Sweden. It was the promised land for a short trip so we'll see how living there pans out.

I can't wait to check out London. I've always loved British humor and movies y'all put out. Would be cool to check out some punk spots even though we did it a lot better I love that grimey, dirty shit. I would want a local to show me everything, not just the tourist and nice spots.

In countries where a lot of girls have fucked up teeth; do you stand out a lot if you have a great smile? I wore braces, don't smoke cigs and even girls here always tell me they love my smile.

Yeah that is a good point. We all are very different.
That could be a good start, a thread for uk members. I hope it won't stagnate and end there though. A few of our transatlantic gaming cousins have met up and it seemed to work out pretty well.
It can be frustrating sometimes when you are the only one out of your friends who understands game.

Not really to be honest. I mean it's true we have worse teeth then Americans but we're not all walking around with rotten teeth. We are not as big into teeth whitening and veneers yet as you guys ( it's definitely changing ) so you don't see as many dazzling smiles but most people have pretty normal dental hygiene ( except guests on the Jeremy Kyle show ).

As for wanting to see the grimy places here in London: I'm sure a few of us will be happy to take you down the East end for some pie and mash.

I can forgive my friends not knowing game too well but what annoys me is their lack of willingness to even approach. When I'm out with a mate and I approach a girl on the street they walk off instead of winging me. When I ask why they say they find it embarrassing stopping to talk tostrangers in the street ( even though I'm the one doing the approach ). My other issue is since I'm now 37 most of my mates are settled down so I often have to roll solo which is less fun.

I'll start the thread later and we'll see what comes of it. Would be good to all meet up even if just once a month for some carnage.

I think it's a brilliant idea. There's a London Meetup thread under the Meetup section that just started.

Yeah, we might be really different. That's fine. Usually what I find with meeting up with guys from the internet is that after meeting maybe 5-10 people, I'll click with one or two. Then I'll go out with those guys again in the future, meet up, become friends, etc. If we do a meetup, sure there might be a lot of guys who aren't anything like you and you don't share any interests, but you could also meet a great future friend.

Anyway, I'm down. I'm mostly down to go meet girls, maybe grab dinner beforehand. Not too into just hanging out.

Read the posts from other members and thought I would share my experiences from London. I disagree with the other gentlemen as far as unattractive woman from UK. You have Eastern European, Indian, Pakistani, (last few visits met Brazilians) and the Local UK woman. I simply think that one night stands for a American Man is quite remarkable. I vacation in UK once a year and travel all throughout the country.
Pros- Meeting woman is a snap. Just head to a local pub in West End area or to be honest anywhere that has a crowd. Solo is ideal.
Others may not agree on this one, but In England groups of guys with girls buy me drinks all the time. ( def not gay) Buy the yank a drink etc.
Once your in the group, you can make your move with the available stock. Its not uncommon for a female to ask you do you want to shag?
Also, meeting woman in the streets is easy as your in town for a day or two and want a guide. I even do this if she is average looking; usually I mention what is her girlfriends doing for
the evening. That way you make your way to the clubs with a group of woman. Easier to pull with woman at a club; at least for me that is.
So as mentioned above, relaxed sexual hangups with one night stands. * Tip if your with a very attractive woman that is playing hard to get, ignore her and dance with her average friend

All in all guys I recommend London to Americans who want to play overseas. I have zero idea how it is for a European point of view. I am based out of Los Angeles and will tell you my
European friends crush it over here. Paris is only other city in Europe that I feel the same way about.
