Zel it has a ton of contributing causes. If stress weakens and thins your blood vessels, floods your body with cortisol, and literally takes years off your lifespan. No doubt it does not help your T levels, which can contribute to the low sperm count.

Also, hard work is not the same thing as stress. You can work hard as fuck and still be mentally at ease because of your state of mind, your ethos, your culture, religious beliefs, etc. Most stress is mental and dependent upon the individual. What stresses one guy may not bother another.

Dudes are popping DIM pills to kill phyto estrogens off the stomach, cutting sugar, avoiding soy, taking stacks that include zinc with 2% copper and vitamin D. Others are going the synthetic route plus all that shit. Now dudes are going plastic free and going stoneware and metal. All just to counteract our bullshit environment and societal causes. Next year, someone might find something else new for us to add to our already bloated male vitality stacks of supplements and pills we take everyday. The Chinese been sipping vials of ginseng, herbs, lingzhi (ganoderma), dried seahorse, etc. for hundreds of years to keep themselves optimal, yet they cannot even explain how any of that shit works on a molecular level.

Going off the grid? Pfffft. Going off the DeepSoy is now the trend.

There is no one cause to this problem. Endocrine/hormone issues will be gorilla in the room health issue for several more decades perhaps. It was little understood back then, and today is honestly not much better either.

Can someone please explain why there are some many phyto estrogens in our enviroment and no phyto testosterones (or w.e. the analogous word would be for it). On a molecular level testosterone and estrogen are very similar.

Aside from food products and physical causes, a lot of this must be physiological.

Many things that we take for granted when being younger, i.e. playing physical sports, having groups of male friends that we can have a laugh with. We need to make more of an effort to require when we are older. It is still possible and I believe when you are in your mid 20s and above you can obtain optimal higher levels of testosterone. Simply due to having more resources at hand but a lot of men slip into the pattern that goes the complete opposite way.

Your environment needs to be a massive contributor. Recently I was feeling very down and deflated despite actually doing well in most aspects of my life. I sussed out that this must be due to a physical reason. Sure enough I changed my diet recently, stopped drinking as much alcohol when out with people. Move into eating berries and intermittent fasting. Instantly within two days I got my drive back and noticed that I started regaining some hair growth where it was previously thinning.

Not giving a fuck as much when it comes to work and other things that usually places unhelpful pressure on you is a good way to reduce stress as well.

I'm sure this is not only happening in the West, but probably in China, Taiwan, Japan and South Korea as well.

The reason is multi-factorial.

As others have mentioned, it's a combination is crappy diets loaded with preservatives and sugar, lack of exercise and competitive sports, lack of male friendship circles, breakdown of families and the prevalence of smart phones.

When testosterone and other hormone injections are making your muscles grow much bigger you don't continue saying that it was your extraordinary exercise routine or modern lifestyle that made you do it.

It also does not fucking matter whether you are a father since less men are becoming fathers now, it also does not mean that it is stress since we as men have less stress on average.

When they are having everything covered in plastic, when you could do it equally well with waxed paper, when you are having even fucking tin-cans covered with plastics on the inside and in the 1950s and 60s you did not have this covering, then why do you think they would do this? It worked well in the 60s and the food was durable, so why do it?

When you have even wildlife species being gender-disrupted like fish and alligators, then you should know that it's not stress that is causing the alligator to have lower sperm-count.

Occasionally the mainstream news and propaganda network like the BBC would give you some truth like those 2 documentaries out there - and they clearly point out that endocrine disruptors are to blame, because when everything in the West - from men to women (who get cancers like crazy due to it), your pets as well as even the bloody wildlife in the West - when everything is affected by those chemicals, then it's the bloody chemicals.









Would there be solutions?

Sure - bring back water, uncovered tin and waxed paper. Everything like that is recyclable - it is even better for the environment. Occasionally you carry more when water is concerned, but guess what - in the past all water bottles even in the 1980s were made out of glass, coca cola came in glass bottles and the cap was made out of plastic-free tin. Not only cancers would go down, but sperm counts would miraculously go back up again. But why should the globalists do this, when they want the world population to go down by billions?

The water supply is full of estrogenic compounds.

Male sex hormones have plummeted in the last half century and show little sign of rebounding.

However, birth control pill use isn’t the biggest culprit. In a 2011 review of the evidence, researchers found that the contribution of synthetic birth control estrogens to the total estrogen content of public water was negligible. Women flushing pills or excreting urinary estrogen do not appear to be the main cause of estrogen in the water supply.

Estrogen in the water may not even be the main cause of the growing male fertility problem. And if it were, what exactly could you do beside drink more bottled mineral water (and even that’s not a guarantee)? Spend thousands on expensive filters, stress out every time you had to satisfy a basic biological requirement (drink water)? It makes more sense to worry about the things you can control, like what you eat or how you live. As it turns out, the biggest culprits for impaired male fertility are probably dietary and lifestyle-related.

Omega-6/3 intake: The polyunsaturated fats we eat are incorporated into the structure of our cells—all the cells. Omega-6-rich cellular membranes are less stable than membranes with more MUFA, SFA, and omega-3 fats, and that goes for cellular membranes of sperm cells. Studies show that men with higher omega-6:omega-3 ratios have lower sperm counts, less sperm motility, and more infertility.

Oxidized fat intake: Most of the polyunsaturated fat most people eat has been refined, oxidized, and exposed to tons of heat, light, and oxygen. Omega-6 fatty acids are already liable to oxidize and turn rancid. They way we treat them before eating—as frying mediums for days on end, in high-heat stir fries, in packaged junk food subjected to high heat and left on the shelf for months—guarantees they’re almost completely damaged. The higher the MDA (a metabolite of oxidized PUFA) in the sperm, the greater the chance of male infertility.

Low sun intake: Most people fear the sun, focusing only on the skin cancer risk and ignoring the myriad benefits of sun exposure, one of which is the fact that it helps us synthesize vitamin D. Vitamin D is a pro-hormone, meaning we use it to produce a variety of hormones. One of the most important products of vitamin D is testosterone, the male sex hormone. Without adequate testosterone, reproduction becomes difficult. We produce less sperm, lose our libido, and become less attractive to potential mates.

Low red meat intake: The campaign against red meat has worked. Most people still think red meat is inherently dangerous. Red meat consumption is at an all-time low, and chicken consumption is at an all-time high. This development has probably caused major problems for male fertility. Red meat is the best and most reliable source of zinc, an important nutrient for male fertility. Red meat is the best source of carnitine, an amino acid with pro-fertility effects. Red meat is higher in fertility-protective saturated fat and monounsaturated fat and lower in unstable omega-6; chicken is lower in SFA and far higher in omega-6.

Those are the big whoppers, as I see it, the factors regular people suffering from low testosterone/fertility can actually target with the most ROI. Sure, it’s not going to happen overnight. Those seed oils are everywhere. Everyone loves French fries, and no one wants to know how long those fryers have been heating the same oil. Red meat remains scary, as does the sun. But it’s physically possible for a regular person to make four simple changes—eat less omega-6, have some canned sardines twice a week, choose steak over chicken, and go outside every day—that could have huge positive ramifications.

There are other major causes, too, including perhaps the estrogen in the water issue as well as other estrogen-like (xenoestrogen) pollutants. If you guys are interested, I can explore this topic more down the line.
