Where I live, there is Dilliards with an excellent big and tall section, and that stuff also 50% on Jan 1.

(Dilliards is a large American Department store similar to Macys but with fewer stores).

Also find things at Costco from time to time.

I shop mostly online:

nordstorm, nordstrom rack, dj premium, brooks brothers, ralph lauren, lacoste, diesel, abercrombie & fitch(only for crew neck tees, the material is great), Banana Republic, barney's, cult of individuality, farfetch.com, maison kitsuné.

I dress mostly preppy, fitted clothes. I live in a rural, conservative town where the men wear shit that's 2 size too big and looks like the slept in them. I look like a dandy in comparison, ha.

Not a clothing store but lookastic can give you ensemble suggestions based on clothes you have already.

Every single asian person on earth including me shops at uniqlo. So that's a given.

Zara is nice if you want quick and easy club wear without thinking too much.

Marks & spencer for shirts.

Adidas store and a small collection of adidas originals.

Timberland for durable business casual shoes.

Kenneth cole is actually alright for business casual wear too.

I own one bespoke suit and one pair of handcrafted shoes that I rarely wear. I'll probably add a nice watch sometime in the future.

I don't believe in buying fancy denim, t-shirts with giant armani logos, or any of that shit.

Good selvedge denim is a good investment, my sole pair of jeans are on their 8th year. Mine are unbranded, made by the guys at Naked And Famous, I buy my t-shirts from Alstyle directly, good quality, wholesale prices and no minimums. V necks for around $3CDN a piece. I'm on the lookout right for a spot to buy cheaper than retail Polo and Hilfiger polo and rugby shirts (Other than Marshals/Winners). That is the one area of my wardrobe that needs updating.

Just bought a couple pairs of jeans from Rag and Bone. High quality stuff.

I've switched all my underwear to Kronis. By far the best briefs I've ever had.

Never set foot in Uniqlo so I mustn't have gotten the memo lol. I'm far too tall and big to be Uniqlo-sized anyway.

My city's pretty hipster so brands tend to be scorned over here. I hate the idea of fast fashion, so would never purchase from Zara, H&M, Asos, Uniqlo etc. Topman would probably be the exception.
Not really into mid-range brands, i.e. Banana Republic, GAP, Nordstrom's, J.C. Penny's — or at least the equivalent range brands in Australia.

Looking at my wardrobe, my clothes sort of come from everywhere. Op shops (thrift stores) have a massive following here, and over half my clothes come from there. The knitwear I've gotten from there are vintage, the shirts tend to be British brands like T.M. Lewin, Charles Tyrwhitt, or Ben Sherman.

I'd buy from eBay occasionally.

Have any of you guys tried one of these online services like Trunk Club, where they send you a trunk of clothes (only when you ask, not as a subscription) chosen by your "stylist," and then you only pay for what you want to keep? That one in particular seems to be for people with bigger wallets, but I've come across some more affordable competitors here and there that will work with your budget more.
