Some nightclubs explicitly bar baseball caps and the like, but I've never had a problem with a golfer-type or brimmed hats.

Works only under certain circumstances. I wore such white hats with friends as we toured the club, but it worked because we all wore them and the girls liked it.

Some guys look better with hat under specific circumstances, but it has to fit your entire style, you need to be in shape anyway.

Don't do the fat Fedora hat without Game approach - that shit won't fly.

Spend a few dollars, find a very good stylist in your area (don't be afraid to drive a bit), and let them find a style that best fits the shape of your head.

For that matter, do a google search, "What kind of hair style for _____ head ?"

Give yourself some ideas before seeing a stylist.

Some dudes back if their head look like a package of hotdogs. I can definitely be a factor but honestly no one really cares, especially in a club.

If you're doing suited-up or suited-down game, then a fedora or nice flat cap won't look right in the club, because everyone knows that a gentleman is supposed to take off his hat indoors. If you wear the Indiana Jones hat, like Goldmund does, then you can get away with it because an adventurer often wears his hat indoors. The thing is, Goldmund has built his style and image around the adventurer theme. If you haven't done that, then I don't know how you could pull it off like he does.

So, basically, unless you can pull off being the adventurer or something similar, then a good haircut and well-fitting clothes, perhaps a blazer, is likely to work better.

A buddy of mine was doing a movie where he and a few other tall blonde men had to dress in full SS uniform.

One day they went out to the town for a sandwich dressed exactly like that:



The Nazi symbolism is strong. He said that the uniforms looked frightening even when they looked at each other. They were obviously designed that way and they would elicit the same reaction even today.
