If I remember correctly....

They both got caught fucking around and there was a murky grey area of supposed "sexual assault". My take is that somebody who saw, white knighted and accused the guy of taking advantage of her - which activated to murky "grey area" with legal hounds being dispatched - she likely went along with at first to save face. When the cops come in and see its all BS then nothing really else you can do. Likely the fact that this happened on the property of the show also made things worse. You provide liquor and get a bunch of people wasted and then a girl (supposedly) gets raped on the set of your show - that is some bad shit (if it turned out to be true).

I didn't even have to look at the article after I looked at the guy's pic to know his name. But then I looked in order to confirm and get a good laugh (knowing I would be right). This happened like 10 years ago on America's Next Top Model. Fun fact is that when all was said and done from that incident, the show continued, there was no more comment, she was never under any "duress" and life moves along.

This was done properly because of witnesses AND documented video, these were the only reasons the rape charges weren't thrown at him.
