The older I get and the more places I travel to, I've realized how shitty this country is. Looking at going stateside in the next five years to continue my work and am planning to settle in Argentina/Chile eventually for the long haul.

This country was only useful at one time, as a homogenous traditional family friendly nation with a decently stable economy and housing market... we are as far from those standards as possible at the current moment so its usefulness has past. Probably was a decent place to live after the war till the end of the 80s though.

Canada is still developing various other sectors, but there's nothing wrong with relying on resources, at least for the time being and the foreseeable future.
