RE: How do you put yourself "in optimal state" for solo day game approach ?
There are many factors that can make you feel more or less optimal to perform unsolicited approaches. The art is to minimize the number of factors and learn to approach with no momentum whatsoever. You just leave the house and are ready to open. (Similarly, both sexes engage in long rituals before going out - pre-drinking, telling jokes, laughing, listening to favourite music, etc.). This is all fine but it just takes a lots of time.
I'd say good night's sleep prior action would be the key. Other factors would be your general long-term lifestyle, either some routine stuff (no fap, gym, eating well, etc.) or specific, personal ones.
But learning to have as few rituals and routines is very helpful for it makes so much easier to open whenever, wherever, whomever, aka 'opportunistic day game'.
Once you train yourself to run stateless game, you'll have fewer and fewer excuses to open in any given situation.

It's all about energy. I take some time to focus, eat well, and then work it into another activity, such as the gym. It lets you vent the negative vibes you accumulate from rejections.
Daygame is funny. It demands a load of energy, but when doing well, you actually generate momentum. So it's not a complete drain on your resources.
If I'm tired I might back out. The law of state transfer is real. But I've got success even when feeling like shit, so take those opportunities, and squeeze out that last rep.
When you daygame, you gotta work yourself up to 100%. There is a qualitative difference from my everyday state, to suddenly generating playful and funny vibes, with no alchohol, friends or external stimulus. It can be brutal.

RE: How do you put yourself "in optimal state" for solo day game approach ?
(06-12-2017 03:24 AM)Edmaster Wrote: Hello guys,
I want to talk to you about the external factors which affect your ability to day game in an "optimal" state.
I fly solo and noticed that some external factors really affect my day game mental state... so my question here is simple : what is your pre-game routine (like a bodybuilder has a pre-workout routine) ?
Some of the external factors that affect my performance negatively :
- Stress (mostly from work, exams...) and procrastination on something.
- Lack of sleep (less than 8 hours) and going to bed late
- Porn and fapping
- Lack of social interactions (even for one day or two)
- Lack of physical stimulation (working out/ or sex)
- Lack of momentum (approach too space out)
- Too much self development (it brings out insecurities)
- Facebook and reading about guys who are doing better than me.
External factors that affect my performance positively :
The opposite of everything above so : no stress, good sleep (8 hours), no fap and no porn (at least for a week), socialize (even cold approaching strangers for a random conversation), working out a lot (3 times a week at least), no Facebook
+
- Meditation
- Getting blown one or two times to be into an IDGAF mode
- Good circle of friends
- Motivational videos (i find them helpful)
- Taking supplements like siberian ginseng or maca
- Eating salmon or veggies
- Improving myself in a domain which has nothing to do with game
That's all i can think of... what's about you ?
Agree with mostly everything you said. As somebody else mentioned, you did answer your own question but I would add drinking or having coconut juice and trail mix with you and knowing where the bathrooms are during your daygame adventure. Those little tweaks helped me because if you daygame like I daygame, I'm running around, being able to go 0-100 real quick when you see a moment of opportunity with maybe the one girl that's moved your nut muscle in an hour and if you're dehydrated, hungry or worst, have to take a piss, can obviously fuck up your mood.
Additionally, I would also add (and this is easier said that done, I'm still working on this) to try and choose a career/set up your life so that you're always in "state". Meaning are you doing a job that sucks ass and drains your life energy? It might not just be for you man. Also, maybe find a job where you do interact with ppl regularly. A few years back, I actually volunteered for this homeless charity where I stood on the street asking random ppl for money. After 5 hours of doing that shit, I was FEARLESS and could speak to ANYONE vs being in front of a computer for an hour or two, working on Excel files and I'm all socially retarded.
Is there a person who's always negative where you have to give them energy? Let em go or reduce your interactions with them.
Set up your life for flow.
Peace out soldiers

Zero Fucks Given. Simple. You don't give a fuck about the outcome, what the girl will think, global warming or if you'll have fish & chips for dinner.
Easier said, than done? True.
To build up quickly to ZFG the best thing is to start opening randomly, girls solo, in two, or three about anything. E.g., there was a a 2-set yesterday, mediocre girls but just as they were walking down towards the park I stopped them and asked if they'd like to have fish & chips. They hooked, and we chatted. The more bullshit, the better. It's incredible that it works to talk about nothing with girls but what it really shows is a ZFG attitude.
One downside is you can't really fake it. You really have to be in a ZFG mode.

RE: How do you put yourself "in optimal state" for solo day game approach ?
OP's list is good. In addition, I want to be in a good, funny mood yet very relaxed and have energy. Krauser called this being a happy dog with its tongue hanging out. The dog is happy already and isn't dependent on the person's reaction. Since daygame amplifies how your inner vibe projects externally, it's easy to slip into everyone else's mindset.
As a contrarian, I want know my objectives, what kind of quality I will target and how to manage any negative thoughts. The latter is key, because it's easy to get swayed by the environment. I have imperfections like everyone else and am OK with it.
When I have too many work items or distractions in my mind, I over-analyze the most basic things I already know, like talking.
Before going out, I skim my open / stack notes to remind myself not to wander and stay focused. There have been many times when I could've opened a pretty girl but totally froze and forgot what to do. Just like that, the savory, pink window of opportunity vanished before my eyes. This was due to my lack of preparation and not controlling my mindset. Every lay started with saying the right thing to the right girl. The law of numbers will take care of the conversion rates.
I don't play video games, take drugs or drink much. I live a healthy lifestyle. I'm normally very extroverted, so I like talking in general when I'm in the right mood.
When a (yes / maybe) girl feels your happiness, she craves for a guy to share that with her.
