Tried Rouge yesterday ..lot of hotties but it's not an easy setting for approaching. I will stick to my regular dive bars.

St-Laurent bars or clubs should only be for fun. Heck many times I was told I look old for the venues

I went to Joverse in Old Port for a birthday party yesterday with my girlfriend. It is a small restaurant/bar that turns into a bar/club later. The place was packed and it was difficult to move around. There is a large bar in the center. There is not a lot of place between the tables and the bar. People stand there and try to dance. Small place. Upscale/white collar clientele, 20 to 30 y.o mostly. Very multicultural (white, indians, asians) but I didn't see many black people. It seemed mostly anglophone. The ratio was pretty bad (maybe because of male F1 tourists). A set of 4 girls (only one was decently good-looking) got a lot attention. A group of about ten guys in their mid-twenties who had a table approached them and gave them drinks. The guys seemed overly excited, it was funny to look at that scene. After a couple of shots the girls left the table.

When I was waiting to go to the bathroom downstairs, some decently good-looking indian guy approached a fat blond in line. Three of his buddies were watching his attempt and laughing. An awkward conversation ensued and the fat girl just left...

It was dark and very, very loud. Difficult setting to pick up IMO. Since it is close to other bars, it might be worth it to drop by quickly to check out if there are some girls worth approaching before leaving...

Well i was moving and i know pretty much all the clubs , yesterday tried Kampai , sir wiston , sky. But what i said is somthing that i see every week end.

It is not about the club name , it is the same mentality everywhere. Guys work hard , girls dont give a fuck . Typical Montreal .

I remember last year F1 week was the biggest sausage fest I have ever seen. A tonne of American/Canadian guys, clubs were packed with them and no girls were to be found.

ratio was OK but girls were OFF , defensive mode.

This attiude of defensive , Social circle , conservative is mainly on French girls and followed by quebcois. Anglo girls are bit less conservative and open sexually.

Last time I was in Montreal, I encountered a few American girls in the hotel.

They always seem friendlier when they are outside of America.

During my staying in France , Montreal , or even when i went to US.

I found Americans girls the funniest , i got approched serveral times by Americans girls and escalate so easy with them. No way to compare them to Canadians.

Yeah it's quite possible the F1 was actually a sausage fest, didn't think of it this way.

Anyway we had a great time.
