I've noticed a general trend of personal space invasion in youtube videos involving liberals in confrontations. Like not actual violence, but stuff that seems meant to provoke you into striking at them in reaction. Pawing at the camera, standing too close, that sort of thing.

There are so many what-ifs: what if your dog this morning and you go off on some liberal hipster jerk on the sidewalk who rode his bike into you and stabbed you your back with his handlebars because he was rushing to cross a street before the walk signal turned to red. Someone you don't even know - who's not involved in the incident other than as a random bystander - records it and posts it to Youtube and Facebook and next thing you know HR calls you in the next day and says customers are complaining about you since they saw that video online. None of the customers know that your dog from the last 12 years just passed on, they don't know some idiot on a bike rode into you while you were walking, all they know is you lost your cool at someone for what they think is no good reason at all.

This recording and posting it on youtube shit is insane.

I see your point, but shaking someone's hands used to be seen as settling a matter or at least showing some respect.

This guy was a fucking idiot in the way he "helped" by only telling her to stop instead of getting her away from the cop or just exiting the situation when she wouldn't listen, but I can't hate that much on him for wanting to shake the cop's hand as a misguided sign of respect.

The cop gave her a lot of leeway and essentially asked that dude to get her calmed down/away from the situation. The dude was always respectful of the cop and did not take her side in any way. He also apologized because he knows that cop does not at all have to put up with her complete bullshit hysterics and he was doing her and the dude a favor.

As for those that say women behave highly different when they are drunk - beware, because alcohol can bring out the worst in a person. If you behave like a volatile asshole when drunk, then know that this is in you - there are no excuses before the law and there should not be. Even if you repress that side most of the time. That is why some mothers say that women should see their men drunk - the way they behave then is indicative of some of the worst excesses of that person.

I am personally kinder and way more funny when drunk, but I am also way more direct with women, so that tells you something about yourself I guess. Women who behave like jack-asses - yes I know them - most of them who act out like that have serious issues and are not mother-material.

It is called civility, civic virtue, respect towards the others.

Americans when they get "drunk", behave like shit. And then, sometimes when the social circle is shared, "excuse" themselves. I guess it is some sort of mental therapy.

The thing is it is because U.S and other Europe countries are more advanced. They really put emphasis on women's rights. Obviously it comes with a cost (if you don't agree with it) like gay marriage and neutral gender thingy non-sense etc.

If the country allows the same sex marriage, you can just assume you should be very careful when dealing with women.

Why do you call the West "more advanced" due to "women rights"? If any, it is a total regression that has destroyed the family unit and the fertility rates. Europe, in particular, will be demographically replaced by a "less advanced" civilization such as Islam. I think we really need to erase the progressive mentality from our minds. I'm 100% on your side here. It perhaps started with guys losing careers and livelihoods over errant events caught on tape once cameras became ubiquitous. I think it started becoming commonplace around the time Kramer went on his racist tirade ~10 years ago. Chris Rock I believe commented on the fact that comedians by their very nature push boundaries, and as a consequence occasionally go too far. What would have been met before with shocked silence and an apology in a small venue, could now be career ending.

Honestly when you see something on tape, you lack the nuance, context, and entire background of the situation. While perhaps everyone here hasn't acted *quite* this outrageously, I challenge anyone here to say that there isn't something in their past that if selectively recorded, and lacking a proper frame of reference, wouldn't make them look horrible.

The solution isn't a more fair application of a retarded concept to men and women equally.
