Roosh and everyone else - I'm a seasoned playa but still have a ways to go. Should i write down notes from the book or just read it, let the ideas flow in my head and get out there in the trenches? I always stick to my own game plan but I want to start experimenting.

I feel like shit for taking so long to get this review done, but between 10-12 hour work days, helping my bro with his infant, and the usual BS, time has been a scarce commodity lately. I honestly thought I'd have the first review done, anyway:


Four and a half years ago, a well-known 'pick-up artist' by the name of Mystery released the book 'The Mystery Method.' That book, along with Mystery's VH1 TV show, exposed an entirely new audience to what is commonly referred to as 'game.' Mystery claimed to turn the art of picking up women into a science, and while his methods certainly can work, they were often not practical for a regular guy.

Enter Roosh, who would release his book 'Bang' shortly after. Somehow Bang has managed to fly a bit under the radar amidst the hundreds of books out there on how to quickly seduce and sleep with women. Yet, for my money, there just isn't a more practical book that anyone can use for racking up notches on the night scene.

Despite the vast amount of material available on assisting the common man with picking up a drunk slut at a bar, there was still a genuine lack of a quality book on how to pick up girls without the aid of alcohol... let alone in broad daylight. 'Day Bang' changes all of this, and after reading it I can assure you that page for page, Day Bang is the most helpful guide to day game on the market.

The typical player might have found much of the advice in Bang to be somewhat intuitive, and one may have read certain parts and thought, "Duh, why didn't I think of that?" Conversely, the advice in Day Bang is somewhat counter-intuitive, thus even seasoned pussy hunters will get something out of this book.

For those that are new to game, I suggest reading Bang first, but it isn't completely necessary. The concepts in Day Bang are explained in great detail, with step-by-step routines you can implement into your arsenal immediately. There are even tips that will enhance your night game.

Beyond Roosh's tips and strategies on day game, there are several chapters and examples devoted to specific places where you're most likely to encounter women during the day. These include: Coffee shops, the street, the grocery store and many more, all labeled for easy reference.

For those familiar with Roosh's writing, his comedic side shines again, making this 200+ page guide a very breezy, casual read. To top it all off, Day Bang even includes a few diagrams for your viewing pleasure.

Day Bang costs less than your average bottle of liquor, so the investment is very minimal. The knowledge in this book will assuredly increase your notch count, and unlike the bar scene, you may even find a decent girl that you want to keep around for awhile.

Bottom line is: You owe it to your dick to read this book!

Damn Roosh this book is 200+ pages. It's killin' my ADHD. I'm on page 30 and so far it's gold. I use the pen routine all the time as I'm a lefty. I'll finish the book before WV and directly apply it, and report back proper. Thanks for another great read.

Roosh- Day Bang is great. I'm half-way through so far. It really makes it all doable and sensible.
I was laughing a bit (appreciatively) at the coffee shop logistics schematic, and the intensity that you put into that. Again, it's practical and really useful.

I've also bought/read Bang previously and was wondering...do you have a GALNUC type of acronym for your process in BANG? If not, i think it'd be really cool to develop that and perhaps include it in a future edition as well as your newsletter.

So I hqve been too lazy to get on here and write a review even though I did receive one of the free give away copies of day bang. At this point my comments are probably going to be about the same as everyone else. The book was very well written and very well organized.

As far as what I took away from it, I realized that I am scaring the cats away during the day by tryingto be cocky and use night game during the day. The main reason I haven't written this post until now is because I've been so busy fucking because of it. The book is epic. I loved it. I keep reading it over and over again. I have developed 3 fuck buddies and I am pretty much getting pussy whenever I feel like it.

For anyone who hasn't read it, read it. Now.

My 2 cents: Excellent book on Day Game.

Here is how it helped my personal game, I am consistently getting numbers with 20-30 % success rate but high flake rate of 70-80 % , even though I have reading multiple times how to decrease the flakes, Message was finally driven home by setting a goal for a Girl to Invest by asking me a personal question.

I have stopped using number close as a goal, breaking the whole approach into pre and post that big moment that roosh describes in the book when a girl asks you a personal question is really what has helped my game.

My goal at any approach is to for the girl to ask me a personal question and for that Open, Ramble , Ramble .....bait ramble bait or some variation is working well. Thanks roosh. I still need a lot of Improvement in baiting it the proper way.

For example I did three approaches yesterday while travelling just for shit and giggles and no number close in my mind but with the goal for the girl to ask me a personal question, They all took a bite on the Big Bait and asked me a personal question, got numbers from 2 , One is very solid , she couldn't stop keeping her eyes off me and even asked would I mind if she calls me tomorrow, when can we go out etc......


It also helped that I have taken Roosh's Day and Night Game workshop but Day Bang really describes the whole process in detail.

This is an excellent book I wish I had read when I was 18. At least kids have it now.
My only complaint is that the book constantly closes the Deal with "getting her number".
This is good, but how about getting her naked?

Elderly opening (EO) is a brilliant idea.

I've been using it today as an experiment and it worked well with both favorably disposed as well as dismissive chicks.

1) 30 YO caucasian 6.5 barista in Peets. She was into me and I stood there musing about the muffins like an addled old man.

I realized EO is a great way to detect soft-hearted, nurturing chicks. I acted helpless enough so she allowed her helpful side to come out, and I am good looking so she also was kind of turned on at the same time.

2) 18 YO Asian 8 working in a yogurt shop-- THis chick has princess syndrome pretty bad, when I walked in talking about my bike ride and I hadn't had enough to eat, she put on a fake half-smile and just looked away-- I wasn't the "hot" 20-something she wants. But she wasn't even aware that my whole stupid guy act was a test of her, so I didn't even feel blown out by her rudeness.

So it works well for both women who'll like you and women who you'll screen out.

First of all, thanks Roosh for sending me a free copy of this in the forum contest. I have been busy and procrastinating, and haven't had time to read and comment on the book.

A lot of the reviews I have seen seem to be from Game experts, that is to say, people who game all the time, and while their opinions are important in figuring out whether the book passes the smell test, I come at this book at someone who is not really an approach machine, notch counter, or flag waver. My main game motivation in the beginning was improving the consistency and quality of the girls I dated. A big part of making that happen in my experience was just going up to girls I found attractive, and making some conversation. The great thing about Day Bang is that the elderly chat opening controls for all sorts of mistakes I made in these kinds of approaches: going too personal too fast, not reading the body language of the girl I was talking to, just sort of plowing ahead and hoping for the best. The elderly chat and GALNUC methods are great for people who might otherwise be turned off by typical game approaches. By starting off in neutral territory, the kind of people who need this book the most will be able to go at their own speed and not feel like they have to spew a bunch of cheesy lines. At best, the methods in this book should flow as naturally as possible, and I think this book is a good skeleton to hang your personality on.

But you have to have a personality to use these kinds of methods, and there's the insight this book offers: there is no magic bullet. To become good at talking to women, you have to make yourself interesting, you have to weather a lot of rejections, and you have to make going after girls a hobby that you work on. There's no short cuts. It's not the most romantic message; I am sure any number of PUA workshops will tell you the opposite, and swindle you while saying it. This book doesn't sell any snake oil and doesn't pretend that game is some kind of magic potion that works without lots of effort.

Overall, I think it is a useful book that would be best used as a gift to someone beta male that needs it, but who would distrust "game" in a flashier form.

You're right in a certain way, but elderly opening (EO) sort of helps me make an end run around rejection, because you can test without "hanging it all out" which I used to think necessary.

You can do a lot of testing the waters just stand there talking about something, not asking her for ANYTHING, so there's no early tense point [until she's shown interest] where you ask for the number or whatever And as I described above, if you sort of act befuddled with a haughty chick, they don't feel the need to blow you out because you don't seem like a threat.

As an interesting follow-up, I went back to the place where the Barista treated me nice when I did EO the next day.

I was more confident, and I was glib and funny and a little sarcastic. And surprise, surprise-- she almost immediately brought up HER BOYFRIEND. I think by being more alpha -- I had presumed she was attracted, it made her raise her defenses.
