I've been here since Saturday and will be leaving this coming Sunday. Lots of IOIs from women 10+ yrs younger (I am early 30s), had no problem getting numbers approaching girls at night last Saturday but today one of them that I was supposed to meet up with goes, "I am bringing my sister along, is that OK"? I was like fuck no, so that was the end of that.

Pipelined a few weeks in advance and have had a date every single night. Tonight was date #2 with a Tinder girl, in her pics she looked like a solid 8 but IRL was a 6 at best, annoyingly she put up too much LMR in my room so had to send her packing and obviously won't be seeing her again.

I can't seem to crack this place. Also, the nightlife is totally dead except on Fridays and Saturdays, so other than the pipelined chicas there isn't much I can do - I've already checked out the UASD campus and to be perfectly honest, the talent was dismal. I don't know of very many daygame locations around town, and in any case, the average dominicana is nothing much to look at but at the high end venues I went to on Saturday there was definitely lots of talent.

I'm 100% certain that if I could stay here longer, say 2-3 weeks, I'd be doing pretty damn well poon-wise, but I've never been all that great at SNLs (usually I need 2-4 dates) and my Spanish is next to non-existent so that hasn't helped.

I've been through the SD threads on here before, but they were from a few years back. I actually haven't seen that many tourists here, but today I went to the caves and there was a group of Russians and god diggity dayum, there were some fiiiiiiine Russian women that made me wanna book a flight ASAP to Russia, lol. They were all coupled up though so that was a dead end, but still.

Anyone successfully gamed in SD recently?

Thank you for the honesty about dismal street talent... it sort of sounds like Mexico in a way except the online and club girls are a lot easier.

My plan is to spend the rest of the year brushing up on my Spanish and yes, also picking up some Russian although I hear Russian is a lot more difficult.

Anyway, onwards and upwards. Still have dates lined up for each of the upcoming nights, so let's see how things turn out.

I'll never understand why guys object so much to girls bringing along a friend or family member to a 1st meetup, yea if you sit there with your hands in your pockets and friendzone yourself it's not going to go well but if you have even an ounce of flirting skills what happens is the friend/family is just there for her to feel safe and confirm that you're not a psycho. After an hour or two they "suddenly" remember that they have to go do something else or get tired and isolate the girl for you.

It's pretty damn rare that girls who do this pull out the "but i though we were just going to hang out" when they bring along friends unless you just fucked everything up or she's such an introvert that she doesn't understand the concepts of meetups/flirting/dating/etc.

As for locations to game keep in mind south america has less disposable income so think less about where people go to spend money and more on places where they have to go (business districts for work, campuses, grocery stores, etc) and low costs locations like parks and beaches.

Your point is well taken. This being my very first foray into a Latin/Caribbean country, I'm realizing that I will have to adjust my mindset a bit to accommodate the local dating/hooking up culture.

At least in the US, it's been my experience that if a woman suggests that she/we bring friends along, the odds of you getting action that night are probably not that great.

In this particular situation, I already had another girl lined up for that same night, and incidentally, she had also suggested bringing a friend along. Initially I had agreed, but just as I was about to send her a text saying, "Sorry, but I'll meet your friend another time - come alone" she texted saying the friend had bailed. So I went with her (instead of the other, younger, much cuter one who wanted to bring the sister along). Too bad all I got was to suck on her tits because I couldn't break through her LMR.

I am also finding the lack of Spanish to be a very real hindrance here. I'm extremely skeptical that you can just fly in and clean up in 1 week or less with no command of Spanish whatsoever. Maybe if you're top 1% in looks, maybe.

2-3 weeks, definitely doable. And a month - almost guaranteed. It's been extremely easy to chat up 8s and 9s at the bars and clubs here - the women are friendly and very receptive, and will definitely give out solid IOIs.

But 1 week, for me at least, seems like it's too little since I've literally only had two real nights out, as the city is pretty dead Sunday - Thursday.

The place is crawling with Russians, and they are hot, on holidays and DTF.

There is also a mixed bag of Eurotrash to bang.

And late in the night if things are not going your way, you can always shoot fish in the barrel and hit the local scene...

Yep. Today I checked out one of those old cathedrals and once again there was a large group of Russians, part of some tour. And once again, serious, serious talent. I can't even imagine what Kiev/Moscow etc must be like. Visual overload for sure.

Vitaly had a Youtube video on approaching girls in Russia, can't link it right now on my phone but it will be easy enough to find. It was pretty interesting and some real hotties too. Conversely some of the ugliest women I've ever met were from Russia.

If I were in your shoes, I'd spend a few months working on Spanish and then hit up your next Latin destination.

For me, talking to girls in Spanish is more fun. Honestly, with game one ends up saying the same couple things over and over again. So writing a couple key phrases will go along way. Things like answering those common six questions she'll ask, some generic observations on the country, and a ridiculous reason for why you're in the country.

Obviously, learning a new language is not for everyone.

I have a post from a few years ago about lessons from a 6-day "Capture the Flag" trip to Mexico filled with ups and downs. That might help, I included some Spanish phrases in there too.

Finally got my DR flag tonight with a solid 26 yr old chic, on the 3rd date. I'd give her a 7.5, possibly even an 8. I was a bit paranoid that when it came time to put out she'd demand money or some shit but I'm happy to report that that was not the case. Great lay, 10/10 would bang again.

I'll have to do the DR again but definitely for longer. Things are only just starting to heat up but I already have to return to the US I'm almost certain that past the two week mark my prospects would've warmed up (after 1-3 dates each) to the point where I could be scoring at least 2-3 notches a week.

Unfortunately even though I've received solid IOIs at the bars, I only had one night out here in the city - last Saturday - so could not capitalize on night game. I didn't try the malls here either.
