You guys need to read between the lines here:

Why would foreign nationals with cash buy specifically Canadian real estate as it's on a pure numbers perspective a shitty investment prospect?

Because when you are facing a potential 20% or whatever drop in RE prices that in the long run will recover vs a potential 100% loss of all your assets overnight if the state seizes it, you will take the RE any day everyday. This particular segment that has been blamed for pushing up RE prices in Canada are using it to get liquidity in a stable jurisdiction.

The 2nd gen immigrants are merely following the same stability concept out of cultural bias, ignorance, what have you etc etc.

Why would they allocate contracts to PC firms?

Because in order to attract said immigrants with money to Canada and not have them feel like a 2nd rate human being, you need a PR stunt that says "we welcome people from different backgrounds. look at all the LGBTs already!".

Let's face it: Canada in the last 30 years has benefitted greatly from immigrant money. Economically we would be in a much different place if the demand for RE wasn't there. We really only have 2 things here, natural resources and land. Natural resources are subject to global markets, so there's really only land left.

Came back to Toronto, temperarily, due to some personal issues. I was living in Poland the past 3 months.

Call me crazy but I have noticed a change in the way women look at me and talk to me. I did lose a bit of weight and I do have a bit fo a tan.

But fuck, if women can't sense that my life has changed. I now have access to the relative possy paradises of Poland and Ukraine. They can smell it. They can smell my lack fo fear and they love it.

Says terrible things about me and my beta pre-European days.

But it says even worse things about them.

Is this the standard level of quality in Toronto or is it just some girls are that hot but the rest aren't? I live in a shithole Anglo city and I'd kill for that level of quality(despite the crazy/SJW)

No ... you can't judge a city based on its campus, which is the highest concentration of 17-21 year olds you'll ever get.

That being said, there are 200,000 extra students in Toronto now compared to a couple weeks ago (summer) and I definitely notice more hot girls roaming the streets downtown than in August. Freshman-15 can't be gained that fast ...

Just came back for a week trip in Toronto

In a few words and coming from South America, expensive, clean but top quality in terms of Punani.

Tons of Tinder matches. No notches on this trip. Next time i will leave the tailored suits at the hotel and put some gold chains and a baseball cap on.

I went to a nightclub called Union. I have not seen that many above average girls in a long time. Place was packed with hotties.

@Palo_alto - good write-up, there is talent here but it ain't easy.

Suits are a waste of time here, fitted t-shirt/shirt, good pair of jeans and nice shoes is all you need.

no i pulled the pictures from the website but i do not use it.

the girl is a gamergirl that is pretty famous in the scene when i used to play a lot of street fighter but no i do not know her personally.

the dude is someone who is from the city i was raised in. he is from a small town in southwestern ontario who played junior basketball when i was a senior. he was someone who drew a lot of attention from the entire city for his talent (you stand out a lot in small cities) and a lot of my friends who are involved in athletics oversaw his development. he eventaully went on to play basketball for a large university in asia and was pretty much the most successful athlete that i actually ahve seen up close from my city.
