This was said in a nice way. I could go further but it seems like when people go to Zagreb they get brainwashed fairly quickly. I recommend OP read this thread for more information on the topic. /thread-56472.html

Touching link to a Srebrenica genocide denial thread that has NOTHING to do with Croatia or travel for that matter. Apparently the academic and international legal consensus on a clear cut issue such as an act of genocide perpetrated within the last 25 years is considered Croatian brainwashing. But yes, please tell me how this is a conspiracy against the red pill Serbs (and/or Russians)...

Every Canadian I talk to about this are completely and totally biased because of their beta pc politics that are taught in schools. Serbia had the most casualties of anyone in this conflict and was bombed illegally by NATO pushed for by Bill and Hillary Clinton. You are cucked on this subject.

Provide some credible sources on any of your claims, particularly the Serbian casualties statistics. You're an ignorant troll.

Like I said, Serbs had by far the most casualties in the war.

Also keep in mind many "Bosniaks" in these figures may have been Bosnian Serbs. Serbia received 700,000 Bosnian-Serb refugees on top of having at least double the casualties so this is about the time you should start feeling silly.

Funny thing is today is the anniversary of Operation Storm. The operation started on the 4. Of august 1995, Croatia went into the city of Knin where the population was 90% serbian and banished 220,000 of them from their homes and land burning and destroying property while cutting off escape routes for civilians. Nearly 2000 died and most were civilians. You don't hear much about that from Canadians though do you? Guess they skipped that part in school.

My point is not to take sides or start a political argument but to point out the fact that fucked up shit happened on all sides of the war. You don't seem to mention that in your previous posts and stick to a very basic and inaccurate mainstream narrative. Like many Canadians, you are cucked on this subject.

I know something about what they teach you in school since all the Canadians who come here tell me they are taught all the same bullshit about how Serbs are the violent, aggressors and everyone else was basically innocent and only defending themselves.

I can tell you're cucked by your previous posts-

But I'm the ignorant troll? You sound like the ADL as someone else pointed out. You've only got 20 posts and have already accused senior members of encouraging genocide and called me a troll... I suggest you take a look at the forum rules before you get banned.

Quote: 2. Don't talk down to members. Don't call someone an idiot, moron, or hater. Don't use condescending language such as "WTF are you talking about?" Don't use textspeak. Don't flood the forum with low value posts. Don't post someone's personal information. Don't be a drama queen. Defer to senior members, who help make the forum what it is.

You obviously have such a biased one-sided opinion because you're just regurgitating what you heard from someone else and have no real argument or knowledge on it.

You can't even manage to do a quick google search before calling me an "ignorant troll".

TL;DR: Read more and don't talk shit on the forum when you have a whopping 20 posts.

You truly are a gem. The data that you yourself have provided clearly shows that Bosniaks (ie. Bosnian Muslims) were by far the biggest demographic victims of the Bosnian war from 92 to 95. Then you try to tell me to "keep in mind" that many Bosniaks "may" have been Bosnian Serbs, when the Bosniak designation CLEARLY demonstrates their Moslem identity (not to be confused with Bosnian, which is a geographic designation). So you provide data, and then question it's authenticity/interpretation. Quite rich.

Thank you for providing credible sources that demonstrate that 89% of the civilian casualties were non-Serbian. That really bolsters your Serbian victimization narrative.

The "Bosniak" figures would even be higher if taken into account the foreign Jihadis or "freedom fighters", or proxy CIA army, or Saudi backed rebels, that where KIA.

The hatchet was buried between Croatians and Serbs long time ago. No need for Westerners to keep digging ghosts of the past between these two strong, proud and great peoples. And as far as I know, Serbs are held in good regard and welcome in Croatia, also vice-versa.

True, but still people who don't like that and try to renew hostilities exist on both sides. We can look at the fact that was 20 and more years ago and the wounds are still a bit "fresh". It will be some time when the wounds fully heal.

In relation to Croatian casualties, silly.

I realize your username is after a mountain in Croatia.

It makes sense now why you are so angry and emotional about this subject.

This statement is wholly untrue. While there is a large Croatian and Muslim population in Belgrade, just going to Zagreb with Belgrade licence plates on your car will almost certainly get you car vandalized. In 6 months three of my friends have tried this and twice windows were smashed while and the other time tires were slashed.

Go go Zagreb as a Serb or otherwise and say "bre" or speak Serbian words (instead of the made up replacement words Croatians inserted into the language to separate themselves from the Serbian language) and you find trouble. Ask anyone from Belgrade about this. It's wack.

As for the Croatians I know here we go out to bars and nothing happens. The same can't be said for Zagreb.

I personally know Serbs that have gone to Croatia and have been threatened or had their property fucked with. I have never so much as heard of a Croatian being mistreated in Belgrade or in Vojvodina, where there has been a Croatian minority for hundreds of years. Additionally, Croats in Vojvodina (Bunjevci) have full minority rights afforded to them in law, whereas Serbs in Croatia are generally treated like shit. Hell, even the memorial in Jasenovac has Croat graffiti on it and slogans from the NDH put there to piss on the Serbs that were butchered there.

Maybe I'm wrong so if other members want to point me to some information on Croats being mistreated in Serbia feel free. I'll be happy to read it.

How are they persecuted? Many more Serbs travel to Croatia than visa versa, maybe this is a reason. I found a good article on the whole Yugoslav/Serb attitudes that annoys the fuck out of Croats.

From the article backing up my earlier point

Moreover, almost every people in Europe at that time had vile, collaborationist regimes. For example, Serbia had a genocidal pro-Nazi government under Gen. Milan Nedic. His quisling state was the first to proclaim its territory “free of Jews,” having launched a massive extermination campaign. Contrary to myth, Serbian royalists - known as Chetniks - did not bravely wage guerrilla war against the German Wehrmacht. Rather, they were racist, right-wing extremists who, supported by Mussolini’s Italy, fought to carve out a homogenous Great Serb empire through a campaign of ethnic cleansing. They butchered tens of thousands of Croatian and Bosnian Muslim civilians. In fact, Belgrade’s recent attempt to forge a Greater Serbia relied on Chetnik ideology and symbolism

The only thing worse than genocidal nationalism is passive aggressive genocidal nationalism, at least the former is honest about its intentions.

Which words did they still and during which time period? There are dialectical variances with both "languages" being standardized a long long time ago. Centralization and homogenization under FYS were very bad things.

Slippery slope , if there is no Croatian language then there is no Croatian people. Ive argued about this with many Serbs, they refuse to acknowledge the importance of regionalism and identity. For other nations anyways.

Funny how many people on the forum criticize the Jews, the unionists during the civil war, and most importantly communist and socialist regimes. Yet there seems to be a totally ideological defense of Serbia and Russia for a lot of the horrors that occurred during these regimes.

There is a victimhood mentality. I was bitten by a women's dog and she gave me the dirtiest look like it was my fault. This would not happen in more westernized nations.

Regionalism and differences if its a matter of soil and mentality differences should be promoted and strengthened. I'm sure yugoslavia was not as great as many people say. I used to be more skeptical about decentralization but it seems to be the best way with the rise of crypto, the failure of the EU and the failure that is the "United" States of America.

The German people are a great example of this. Ethnic Germans fair better in Austria and Switzerland for a good reason. Croatia no doubt would be the same separate from FYS.

From the article

Civilization and Prosperity Flourish in Small Political Territories
Historically, Germany’s past has much more in common with a decentralized political landscape than with a unitary state. From the disintegration of the Roman Empire until Napoleon wantonly abolished the Holy Roman Empire in 1806, Germany was an amalgam of different political units – kingdoms, duchies, confederacies, free cities, etc. With no grand central state, there was considerable freedom and economic growth as each sovereign entity was largely able to conduct its affairs on its own terms.

Decentralized political power is also conducive for the advancement of culture. Music, the highest art form, found some of its greatest expression from the German peoples. Monumental figures of Western music were financed in large measure by German princes, kings and emperors. Johann Sebastian Bach’s sublime Brandenburg concertos were underwritten, so to speak, by Christian Ludwig, Margrave of Brandenburg, while Beethoven received support from Archduke Rudolph. Mozart was funded by no lesser figure than the Austrian emperor himself, Joseph II.

Forgot to mention something very important. Things are very different now but historically the Catholic Church was a much better spiritual power than the Eastern Church. I'm pretty sure the Western Church would have eventually stepped in to create a moderated monarchy under the Russian Empire, than alas no commies. The Eastern Church was much more ineffective at promoting a prosperous society. I can imagine the importance of the Catholic Church for Croats also from a state building (or moderating) standpoint.

Italians and especially the Germans did not like even chetniks.

In national socialist ideology of the 3rd Reich , serbs were considered lower beings.

In case of victory of 3rd Reich , serbs were going to get exterminated probably or Serbia would not even exist and western balkans would have been divided between Croats and the Albanians of National Front.

The Same Thing in WW1 , if the Austro Hungarian empire and German empire would have won WW1 , the same fate would be reserved for Serbs.

Ironically it was the Americans that saved the asses of serbs 2 times from total extermination in both world wars and they even supported the creation of yugoslavia and even armed it.

However this has nothing to do with crimes of serbs.

Serbs did at of crimes and they have the roots in the ideology of greater Serbia called "Necertania".

This pain positive guy is ridiculous with his claims.

Even in his tables he posted , Muslim bosnians had 4 times more losses than serbs, mostly women and children.

Fucking too much serbian pussy has made this guy highly subjective.

People are big and drink a lot, I'd be careful if rolling solo(which I don't recommend anyways). The combination of a heavy drinking culture, hooligans and overall lower levels of development one has to be careful. I look pretty innocent and can pass for a local,I was paranoid/worried a few nights ago however. Anything can happen, don't let it be a turn off though ,definitely worth coming here. I had problems the first week with a "refugee" who asked for money and jabbed me after I refused to give the locust my keep. Overall its a safe city more or less.

Maybe you're just paranoid and scared of people who are bigger than you. I've Lived in Belgrade for the better part of three years and have witnessed 3 fights total while going out 3-5 nights per week. The only problem you had is with refugees so it's weird you attribute that to Serbians being aggressive.

As for your politics spiel I'd say your very limited time in both countries has led to conclusions on a matter you don't really know anything about.

I'm with you on this. I don't get the "Serbians are bigger and more alpha blah blah" stuff. They are normal dudes. Good people.

I spent three months in Belgrade, hot, feminine girls. One thing, they don't like fools, and I guess they let the guy know.

Let me know what Fenetre? I like Serbs and have made Serbian friends, they are cool people. Everyone I met from the forum not a resident in Serbia long term agreed with me its not the best place for ROI. I had a few near misses with true stunners and thats what I was mostly going after, but thats what I deserve. If I wanted 7s I stay in the west. As for getting your Serbian flag, just go to where the diaspora is (DE/AT/CH). Saying Serbia is amazing for game and meeting girls is misleading, why are more forum members not staying in Belgrade long term? Maybe its good if more people come so the girls get used to it, but my experiences aren't exactly unique in this regard. I also agree that Serbs are normal dudes, not necessarily Alpha. The thing is though ,I was probably wrong being paranoid ,but anyone could feel intimidated rolling solo at times. Either way, doesn't matter as day game is the way to go.

RE: Croatia VS Serbia observations datasheet
"Ironically it was the Americans that saved the asses of serbs 2 times from total extermination in both world wars and they even supported the creation of yugoslavia and even armed it."

No, it was the Russians who actually cleared the Germans out of Serbia. The Americans and Brits were bombing Serbian civilians to get Tito and his communists in power (acting as his airforce) and it was to him and NOT the Serbian patriots/royalists that the Brits and Americans have huge amounts of weapons, as well as advisers and did propaganda for them - even giving Tito credit for what the Serb Chetniks did against Germans. Serbs did NOT want communism. An eyewitness, Serb-American poet Charles Simic, who was a little boy during the war, noticed that Americans had direct bombings on Serbian civilian apartments but left the Gestapo headquarters unscathed.

The entire operation Halyard was classified for 60 because U.S. sided with the Communists in Yugoslavia to overturn the legitimate government.

Farfetched? Ploesti oilfield was liberated by the Soviets in AUGUST 1944. 15th Air Force continued to bomb Serbia and slaughter Serbian civilians in meaningless bombing campaigns till MID September 1944.

More Serbs were slaughtered by USAAF and RAF than by Luftwaffe. Only on Easter Sunday 1944 over 2000 were killed in Belgrade, thousands killed in Nis and Leskovac.

- DTA

"Even in his tables he posted , Muslim bosnians had 4 times more losses than serbs, mostly women and children."

The table COMBINES the Croats in with the Muslims (and they had a 17-month war against each other - and killed each others civilians, POWs, and soldiers).

No, it was not mostly women and children for 91% of those that died (or went missing - that table is including all the missing and the number was around 16,700 at the time - I've seen an updated total which was less than 98,000 so they most of found a few thousand of the missing) were MEN.

91% means most all they list "civilians" were men too. (And no doubt it is skewed since a Muslim, Mirsad Tokaca, was given the leadership of the project midway through - before that it was 2 Norwegians working for the ICTY - and it was they who discovered that the much hyped numbers - usually 250,000 but sometimes 300,000 - were far too high. They realized this after finding some of the EXACT SAME PEOPLE being listed multiple times - especially by the Bosniaks - so the Bosniaks were trying to inflate their numbers by counting the same person multiple times and they also were trying to count soldiers as civilians.)

But after discovering that and it being in a Norwegian news article, they handed the project to a Bosnian Muslim who no doubt, with his team of mostly Bosniaks, tried to push as many borderline, unknown, or merely suspected paramilitaries as "civilians" while for Serbs any elderly man acting as a sentry for his village will count as military. (I mean Bosniaks are the same people who kidnapped Serbs, tortured them into false confessions, and tried and convicted them for killing those who were STILL ALIVE AND SERVING IN THE Bosnian military in Sarajevo all the while. I am referring to Kasim and Asim Blekic - the Bosnian Muslim court in Sarajevo found Serbs guilty of killing them even though they were discovered alive after the war. The only reason non-Muslims found them alive is because one of them was buying up the livestock of Serbs in an area which was being added to the Croat-Muslim Federation, so he was taking advantage of the Serbs leaving and likely selling their livestock. Well, one of the homes he showed up at was the uncle of one of the men convicted for killing him (and the trial was given hyped international coverage). The uncle thought he saw a ghost. So Serbian media met with him and learned he had been a soldier during the war and so was his brother, who was also alive. The media asked if the accused had ever done anything to him, and he admitted the man convicted of his murder hadn't done a thing to him. When asked why he didn't come forward, he merely said the police wasn't looking for him. The Bosniaks don't care if innocent Serbs are falsely accused and rotting in jail for killing them when they are alive and well.)

Furthermore, the remaining 9% who were not men would not be "women and children" for it would not count soldiers/paramilitary/combatants under age 18.
Soldiers/combatants under 18 were termed "boys".
UN's definition of boys is those from 14 until their 18th birthday. Those younger than 14 are called children.

16 was the legal age when they could join the armies (from all sides) during the war, and even younger were given permission to join or joined anyway.

The "Stars and Stripes" - U.S. military newspaper - did an interview with one of the U.S. soldiers serving in Iraq in 2004.
And this soldier was a Bosnian Muslim from Sarajevo who said he joined the Bosnian Muslim army in Sarajevo at the age of 14.
He fought for a year and he said it was trench fighting - like in WWI - “It was World War I-style fighting, trench warfare,” he said. “There were a lot of mortar attacks, howitzers and tanks — a lot of armor got involved. Both sides took a lot of casualties from the minefields and snipers.”
See:
From Bosnian child soldier to U.S. Army leader

Anyhow, the point is that a certain percentage of the 9% who were not men were "boy" soldiers who died or went "missing".

A fair number to count for combatants 14 up to 18 who died or went missing during the war is 2%.

Of the remainder 7%, you'd have to extract the number of Serbian women and children who were killed by the Muslims and Croats - and unlike the Muslims and Croats, Serbs have authentic identified autopsy reports which prove the Serb children and women were murdered.
Plus there are even photos of Serbian women and children mutilated by the Muslims and Croats.

You also seem ignorant that the Muslims and Croats of BiH fought a 17-month war with each other and was some of the most intense fighting in the war.
Their fighting left Mostar the most damaged city in the country and the Croats claimed over 150,000 Croats were ethnically cleansed by the Bosnian Muslim forces in Central BiH during the summer of 1993 alone.

A British mercenary, John MacPhee, who fought with the HVO and HSO throughout the war said that they (Croats) sustained more losses against the Muslims than the Serbs.

He and the Croats in his unit were witness to scores of civilian Croats (including women and children especially) after arriving a villages that the Bosniaks had attacked.
Bosnian Army Troops ‘Systematically Executed Croat Villagers' http://www.balkaninsight.com/en/article/...-villagers

He also admits to killing both Bosnian Muslim and Serbian civilians - including women, and details some of these.
In most cases it was a person walking near where he was hauled up, and, not wanting to take chances, he shot them. In one case, it was a figure walking across the snow, whom he shot with a 16-year-old Croat fighting with him. They later discovered it was an old woman.
He also shot a Bosnian Muslim women in her mid-twenties when she was walking towards a building he was in on the frontlines. He killed a teen Montenegrin girl too.
By the way 16-year-old Croat fighters (including an injured one who was going into shock and whom he doesn't know the fate of, feature a few times in his book "The Silent Cry") Also, his lover in BiH, and Albanian woman who lived around Tomislavigrad was killed with her baby by "Muslimani" - that's what her grandmother repeats when MacPhee comes to find their charred remains.

So, my point is, that a large number of Croat civilians were slaughtered by the Bosnian Muslim forces, and that Croats also killed Muslim civilians.

So you looking at those tallies and seeing a large number of Croats and Muslims killed by EACH OTHER, not Serbs.

Plus, this isn't to mention that the Bosnian Muslims did stage attacks and snipe and mortar their own people (especially in Sarajevo).

UN officers witnessed the Bosnian Muslim factions killing civilians inside their own lines for PR purposes.
Canadian soldier James R. Davis wrote about it in his book "The Sharp End: A Canadian Soldier's story".

Even UN records and testimony point to the Bosnian Muslim snipers shooting at civilians AND the UN. Plus they testified that the Bosnian Muslim forces were using SEVERAL BUILDINGS within the infamous Sniper's Alley.

Sarajevo was a DIVIDED city during the war, and the Serbian-controlled part - which mainly aligned to where Serbs were the majority before the war - ended up more damaged than the Muslim-controlled part.

Further, the UN was trucking in fuel, supplies and food in large and ample quantities throughout the war.
That there were shortages for the civilians were due to the Bosnian Muslim government NOT DISTRIBUTING THE FOOD TO THE CIVILIANS.
The UN reports said that despite increased deliveries they didn't notice the civilians getting it, but they did see it showing up with the army and some of it getting into the black market (which thrived thanks to all the UN food and supplies they received).

The UN says that 60% of the food was NOT BEING DISTRIBUTED at all by the Bosniak government.
“The food situation continues to be confusing. Convoy deliveries have increased recently, but the distribution by the BH government to Sarajevo citizens is still very limited. Large quantity [of] this food is diverted to the military and a smaller amount re-surfaces on the black market. The bulk of the missing aid (perhaps 60 per cent), remains unaccounted for. Speculation is that the BH government is stockpiling it.
So the government withheld most all the food (and only kept its army and the black market well-supplied) to help sell the war: it used the deprivation of the civilians to whine about the "siege" and blame Serbs.

But those UN trucks were ALL THE TIME going through Serbian territory and Serbs didn't stop it unless they discovered weapons or fighters (which the UN was involved in smuggling). But even then, it was only temporary, and things would be flowing very strong into Sarajevo.

During the Croat-Muslim war, the Croats would regularly bomb or hijack the UN trucks/convoys with the excuse that they were supplying the Bosniak army forces - and actually, the Croats were mainly correct.

The Bosnian Muslims had the largest forces by far - 200,000. Serbs only had around 40,000.
Meanwhile, Croatia stationed 40,000 Croat troops (from Croatia) during the entire war and Croatia was not threatened with bombs or sanctions, nor was it even spoken about. It was an open secret with the international community.

Croats set up torture and rape camps for the Bosnian Serbs from the very start.
Last year the U.S. even deported a former Croat soldiers, A WOMAN, named Azra Basic (very fat and ugly, check for yourself: https://static01.nyt.com/images/2011/04/...-jumbo.jpg ), for torturing and killing Bosnian Serb civilians in 3 Croat Army run torture camps in BiH during the Spring/Summer of 1992.
Some of these Serbs were rounded up on Easter 1992, and these Croatian Army run torture camps were deep in BiH far from the Croatian border.

By the way, the Bosnian Muslim president Alija Izetbegovic was a pro-Nazi teen soldier during WWII:

And he always dreamed of a BiH under Islamic domination and wrote in his book "Islamic Declaration" that Islam could NOT coexist in a state with another relgion.
He was jailed several times throughout his life for violence against Serbs or plotting against the state - seeking aid from even terrorist groups in the early 1980's.

The Bosnian Muslims were a special project of Himmler and he formed some Nazi divisions with them.
They were noted as being poor fighters but they killed a lot of Serbian civilians.
