This might be a clue to Kubrick showing the drudgery of having to work really hard on a project void of artistic merit yet incredibly demanding technically, with the additional mental strain of having to keep it all secret. Notice that the typewriter fonts of the lower-case L and the number one are totally identical, so "All" - A11, short for Apollo 11. As in, all this Apollo 11 shooting has really worn him out. Another clue.

On many old typewriters, there was no key for 1. You used a small letter l. Old, mechanical typewriters also lasted a very long time. They were made of metal, not plastic. Typewriters manufactured in 1900 were still being used in 1980. And, of course, they required no power. This was a standard layout:

The sewing machine company, Singer, was actually a big player in the typewriter market.

That's not really comparing apples with apples now is it.

If the moon landings were faked, there were obvious geopolitical reasons to incentivise such a large scale ruse. Holding the Earth out to be a sphere if it is indeed flat - not so much.

A more apt comparison would be if members were behind David Icke's theory that the moon is a hollowed out space station.

When WE came to Twin Peaks for Project Bluebook, the White Lodge spirits recognised his heart was pure and tried to possess WE to find out about the Black Lodge. To stop WL spirits from entering his body he used Haliperidol. It appeared the Haliperidol was causing insanity, but the Haliperidol was allowing his natural evil and insanity to express itself.

Flat earth is not just crazy talk, it's a retarded notion championed by con artists and no credible people, and it is based on denying the most basic notions of science, like gravity.

The moon landing debate on the other hand is carried on a purely forensic and scientific basis. It's not about denying Newtonian gravity laws, it's about actually using them to point out basic physical discrepancies.

I don't think that Cruise's lack of charisma in this role is a coincidence.

He was meant to be a bland while successful doctor who stumbled upon a group powerful enough that his looks/millions in the bank/education meant nothing to them. They actually amused themselves playing with him a bit while Ziegler held back the hounds.

Cruis'e character was meant to be shown as irrelevant to these people despite being normally the good-looking charismatic guy. All of that pales to the real power of this world and that wa a good presentation of it.

I've met Cruise in person before and found him to be pretty charismatic.

Great film! Need to watch it again now.

RE: Eyes Wide Shut
Also saw it on opening night, and try to watch it every 2-3 years.

At the time, it was seen in the industry as an "outing" of Tom Cruise. How random people on the street call him a fag, how he seems unable to consummate fucking all the beautiful women that throw themselves at him in the film.

Careful not to look for too many puzzles in great films, and just appreciate them for what they are showing you and making you feel.

If you care about digging deeper, read Kubrick interviews. He is clear about most of his obsessions when making films. This one, he said would be the most precarious he ever made, because everyone thinks they are an expert on sex.

It has some of the most complex lighting in movie history. Kubrick loved pushing the envelope on exposure, color, and framing (as fans of Barry Lyndon know).

Kidman has the body of a 14 year old boy. I never got the hype. Vanessa Shaw or Leelee Sobieski are more my style.

I think it's a near perfect movie. My directing teacher used to say that "Eyes Wide shut is the reason Kubrick died", not to mean that elites killed him, but that it was a shitty movie. This fag directed Rupert's Land. May he get testicular cancer for that comment.

Fake bullshit theories:

Flat Earth
Faked Moon Landing
Reptilian shapeshifting elite
Atomic bomb not existing

etc.

There are irrefutable facts about the moon landing regardless whether pictures were modified for various reasons. I have my theories why that happened and that the moon is not as advertised. But we won't get into that.

As for the Eyes Wide Shut movie - it is of course visually stunning and done by one the best movie makers of all time. I think that Kubrick certainly was highly initiated in the usual occult Masonic stuff. He certainly met the true elite of our world and what they were up to. He probably tried to lift the veil a bit and crossed a line.

I just finished reading chapter regarding this movie in book Esoteric Hollywood by Jay Dyne. I recommend this book for everyone here as it has detailed analysis of dozen major movies from 20th and 21st century. Author is knowledgeable about occult and draws parallels from famous occult books to movies without going into too much speculation or drawing weird conclusions.

Alright Gentlemen.
Money where your mouth is.

Who is now going to begin putting forth their arguments for this by starting a new thread on the moon landings and their alleged fakery ?

I've got enough haters already for my other threads, so I'm not going to be the first one.
So one of you guys needs to have the guts to kick off this new thread.
But I bet none of you are ready to handle the heat and ridicule like I do and will shy away in silence.

You have to read what I write.

I never said that it was faked and neither did Windom Earle.
I don't even voice the possibility of it being done.

RE: Eyes Wide Shut
There was a great documentary a few years back called "Room 237" which is basically one crackpot theory after another about the "meaning" of The Shining. And yes, the fake moon landing is one of them. It's funny cause everyone interviewed considers themselves an expert and is so sure they know what Kubrick meant in every frame of the film, but they're all completely full of shit. I highly recommend it.

I love a good conspiracy theory. They're fun, like ghost stories around a campfire. But I don't believe the really ridiculous ones.

All so-called conspiracy theories as well as alternative views on all subjects have to be assessed diligently and rationally - I would divide them into 4 categories - all 4 should be viewed under the scientific method:

A) CLOSE TO FACT: through detailed information and observation it becomes as good as fact (private central banking system, globalist shadow government - plenty of books out there, credible info, FED being owned by 5 private old banks, checks out with what is happening around the world)

B) LIKELY BUT UNPROVEN: Theory likely in beginning - no further info forthcoming, no further proof, just bits and pieces of strange art, reports about child abuse & sacrifices - Luciferian, Satanist - pizzagate childsacrifice angle - likely but ultimately unproven

C) POSSIBLE BUT FAR SHOT: your guess here - essentially pretty much anything that is not automatically illogical and dumb - Aliens visiting earth and doing various things without being in full open and info suppressed by global governments (maybe the globalists even fight them so that small-time visitors cannot land) - that is a possibility and how am I going to prove you that this is not happening, but it is a far shot and I would not be making such claims

D) IMPOSSIBLE DUE TO LACK OF SCIENTIFIC & LOGICAL REASONING: flat earth theory, Bush and the Queen of England being a shapeshifting alien hybrid race, Roosh being a rape advocate, feminists being for equality etc.

I agree with this. In fact, I heard the reason his character's name is Dr. Bill Harford is because at one point HARrison FORD had been considered to play the role. Although Indiana Jones and Han Solo make notable exceptions, I've always felt the overwhelming majority of Ford's filmography has consisted of playing relatively bland characters.

RE: Eyes Wide Shut
I'll never forget the first time I saw "Eyes Wide Shut." I was in high school staying overnight at a friend's house who had already gone to bed. Since I couldn't sleep, I decided to channel surf and came across the movie on a premium channel, so it wasn't edited in any way. I came in right around the time Dr. Bill visits Nick Nightingale at the jazz club and obtains the password to attend the party and is told he'll need a costume. Intrigued, I kept watching and couldn't believe what happened next.

"Eyes Wide Shut" is interesting in that it was marketed as more of a couple's erotic journey rather than a doctor accidentally stumbling upon the depraved, esoteric world of the elite. Some may have been disappointed by going into the movie expecting one thing and getting something completely different, but I actually liked that surprise. For the people who went to see it primarily in the hope of catching a glimpse of Nicole Kidman naked, Kubrick took care of that in the opening scene so you could relax and focus on watching the rest of his story unfold. The interesting part is, while there is no shortage of exposed female flesh in the movie, the context in which much of it appears leaves you feeling more creeped out than turned on -- unless Satanic rituals are your thing, of course.

Since I had only seen the film from about the halfway mark on, I felt compelled by morbid curiosity to rent it shortly thereafter to see just what in the fuck happened leading up to the point I'd started watching. It's definitely been a favorite of mine since then.

You can probably file this next bit under "Tin Foil Hat" territory Tinfoilhat

I've not seen anyone else mention this yet, but interestingly Kubrick died 666 days before the year 2001 began; "2001" also happens to be the title of one of his most famous works. It seems the elite loves to use numbers/numerology and symbolism to send subliminal (and not so subliminal) messages in other threads, so if there's any truth to that, would anyone [I]really[/] be all that surprised if foul play was involved in Kubrick's demise despite whatever "official" reports might say to the contrary?

I've just watched this movie last night and being a hardcore Kubrick fan I was not disappointed. I was struck and overall confused by the film and would like to get more answers. Does anybody know who put the mask on Bill's Pillow?, and why did the guy on the costume's shop out of sudden decided to rent his own daughter? I truly love Kubrick's style and this whole film sparked the interest of illuminati and conspiracy theories on me at least for a while.

RE: Eyes Wide Shut
I think it's a bit open to interpretation, but I assume that either Alice found the mask and put it on Bill's pillow as a way of letting him know that she knows something's up, and a conversation about it will be eminent. Either that, or someone from the party found his mask and put it there. It's been a while since I've seen the movie, so I'd have to go back and watch it again to see which I think is the more likely scenario.

As for costume shop owner? Well, I just assumed that since money is what makes the world go 'round -- and those guys were going to be fucking his daughter anyway, he just decided to turn a profit from it. In a way, it's also to show you the contrast between how things appear in the light of day is dramatically different than how they are during dark of night. The people we think we know, we don't.

His wife could not have put on that expensive mask on the pillow, because she did not know anything about the events. Besides - it would not have made sense.

The mask was put on the pillow by the Eyes Wide Shut guys. He was followed the entire time and was a on a thin line. The mask was the last warning as someone entered his place and left this mask in his bedroom. That same someone can one day enter his place and arrange his death or the deaths of his family just as easily. That is why he stopped his research afterwards and told his wife in shock.

I might also add that the bodyguards depicted in the movie are quite fitting - usually men from ex-secret service or veterans with very high IQ and getting paid 150-300k/year. The assessments of the receptionist was correct - men who are equally cultured as well as physically imposing.

On a semi-unrelated note, I recently returned from Mexico City and they had a Kubrick exhibit in their cinema museum with many of the props from his films- costumes from "Spartacus", the typewriter and the twins' dresses from "The Shining", masks from "Eyes Wide Shut," and two "HALs" from "2001" among lots of other oddities (scripts with his handwritten notes and sketched storyboards, mannequins from the moloko bar in "Clockwork Orange", etc.) For a fan like myself, it was a pretty amazing collection.
