The elephant in the room in this discussion that hasn't yet been mentioned is the thirst in Western dating markets and its effect in skewing demand towards these washed up ghouls that guys wouldn't have previously been seen with at a Halloween Party. For an increasingly large segment of betas who are now locked out of their local dating market for women their own age, their only option is going to be old women and these used up old hags - on some level - seem to have fully grasped that reality and are cashing in accordingly. This is the reality that too many on this forum seem unable - or perhaps are unwilling - to countenance.
