I think Manspreading is the greatest cause of patriarchal oppression in the world today, not manterrupting.

Seriously, it's mostly women and effeminate men who don't listen to the people they engage with. They don't have actual conversations; it's just an opportunity to talk about themselves while putting up with a token amount of return communication. If a man interrupts a woman, it's usually because she's steering the conversation towards some whining solipsism and he's trying to get to the point. When a woman interrupts a man it's because he's just not getting that "it's about meeeee, dammit!"

You know the old saying, "Female anger is the weathervane of truth". I've had several job interviews (over a VERY long career) where the feedback was that I took too long answering a question. In ALL cases, it was a female interviewer and in ALL those cases, she would rather hear herself talk than let the candidate answer the question. Nevermind that you can learn NOTHING about a candidate when YOU are talking.

Women LOVE to talk and the real complaint above isn't that men are interrupting them, its that men are talking at all. Because if you're talking...she can't be talking. And that's all she wants to do. Talk talk talk talk talk. Talk talk talk TALK TALK talk talk...

I don't see this one catching on. At least with "manspreading" or "mansplaining", even though the concepts are retarded, the words roll off the tongue. "Manterupting" sounds awkward and forced.

As others have already noted, it's quite often women who do most of the talking. Doing more talking does not necessarily mean someone is a good conversationalist. There has been multiple times where a woman was talking to me, either on the phone or in person and not realized I wasn't there for at least a couple of minutes. I think this app would show some interesting data if it also showed how often women were interrupting men.
