If you spend a week in each city that you mentioned then I can guarantee you will get laid at least once so that shouldn't be a concern. Unless its Penang, Malaysia.

Just go with a city that appeals to you the most and don't focus on girls.

I found Kuala Lumpur to be underrated as well. Yes, alcohol is not cheap compared to other SEAsia countries but I found everything else to be somewhere between BKK and Philippines. Luxury hotels were the lowest of all the SEAsia countries I've visited, Uber was extremely cheap, and the food was good and inexpensive as well. If you're a daytime or online game type of guy then you'll find many of your Chinese-Malay and Malay girls out and about. I find most of them speak adequate english as well.

I'm planning a 1 week trip to either Bangkok or HCM in September and would appreciate some advice.

I do not speak any Thai or Vietnamese apart from the common greetings, nothing to carry a basic conversation. I do however speak Korean and Japanese and from my experience, Korean is huge in Thailand. Granted all the Thai girls Ive ever hit on are outside of Thailand but Ive never gotten a less than positive reaction whenever I tell them I'm Korean(Im not but I can pass off)

Vietnam on the other hand, from what I gather on this forum, has a lesser average fluency in English and Im not sure about their perspective on Koreans, something that has rewarded me greatly gaming in SEA. From the forum, it also seems it would be harder for the average tourist there for only a week because of the conservative culture there compared to thailand. I'm not a big fan of Vietnam and would choose Thailand any day over Vietnam. Much more convenient overall especially if you stay close with the bts/mrt-lines. Pretty bad weather in both places though, this time of the year. Both countries have a percent good looking girls. For a tourist I think Vietnam is easier because there is so many foreigners passing thorough Bangkok meaning there is a bit competition, however not many tourist this time of the year because it's bad weather.

Satoshi is almost spot on. But Vietnamese girls will make you work for it, in most cases. So, for a one week trip, go with Thailand.

So I pushed back my plans to visit SEA until this coming Christmas and NYE. I've also shortened my time from almost 3 months to about 3 weeks. After a lot of thought and reflection, especially with some new found experience here in America, I think it is best to not visit a country for less than a few weeks at a time if possible. I have a lot of reasons for saying this, but one of the main ones related to gaming women is that a lot of girls may be willing but will take longer to crack.

If I were to run through several 5s and 6s in 3 different countries after having stayed a week in each, that wouldn't be bad but if I stayed 3 weeks in one spot I think I would have a better chance of getting more and higher quality lays.

For those of you that have been to SEA, if you had only one chance in your life to visit the region and to only stay in one city, which city would you choose and why? I'm torn as to where to go, but using tinder plus I am testing out the different cities I am interested in and figuring it out. That being said I'd love to hear what you guys have to say.

^I would pick Saigon (Ho chi minh city), if you're planning on staying several weeks. For a first-timer, Bangkok might be easier (especially as it has metro lines), but there is more space, greenery and more of a Western influence (cafe culture) in HCMC. Less touristy too, and cheaper, is Saigon compared to BKK.

Good thread OP. I’m older than you but damn does our story and the reasons for leaving North America sound similar. I also want to spend some time blogging and building a travel site now that I’ve left my soul crushing office job. I have no delusions of grandeur about making tons of money I just enjoy it and need “work” to keep me going.

You need to change the percentages to proportions. So 1 out of 23 Filipinas is about 4 percent. Interestingly enough, getting a Filipina to do anal, especially the first time you meet, is like pulling teeth.

I don't think filipinas are slutty. Not even the slutty ones. By that I mean they don't have the typical western slutty attitude. Technically some of them may be sluts, but they're not slutty.
