But you cant say Philipine women are smarter than western women.
When i landed in philippines, i hadn't googled how many people lived there.

So i started asking. "1 billion", "10 000", "100 000", "1 million". which are all pretty far away from the correct answer of somewhere around "100 million".

I found the smartes girls to be Vietnamese. Thai girls were not very smart either.
the indonesian girls i met were smarter than both thai and the philippines one. Not as smart as Vietnam though.

Given that the distance from Manila and Bangkok flight wise is 3.25 hours, would one recommend doing a week in BKK, 1 week in Saigon(1.5 hour flight), then 1 week in Manila or Cebu? I know one week isn't much time in a foreign country but with the relative short travel times to each place, it might be worth it? Sort of like a SEA sample platter... Anyone have an experience to share on a "short stay in each place" like this? And in which order would you advise?

^ 1 week in Saigon isn't a long time. You run the risk of striking out. The other locations all offer up fast sex. Don't bother with Vietnam if that's what you want. It'll only end in frustration and blue balls. Skip Vietnam, do Bangkok and Phils.

Thanks for the advice. To be honest the only reason I'm even considering VN at all is because I've chatted a girl from the big city for a few years, and I know she'd be a sure thing. I guess I owe it to myself to meet her since I'm basically a hop and skip away. I just need to figure out the order of operations..

One thing I'm curious to know, not to derail the general topic of this thread but I'm finding VN girls language ability to be very frustrating. And that is just in online interaction. In person I think maybe I can let it slide because they ooze sex appeal and femininity but I wouldn't know until I was on the ground. What is your experience here? Do you speak Vietnamese?

Thanks guys. To address intelligence, I'm not measuring raw intellect or just IQ. If I were, then Westerners would blow SEA girls out of the water (except maybe Vietnamese -- I've met one 21 year old who knew what the USD-VND exchange rate was five years ago).

IQ is probably the least important factor and I include other things like mental health, whether or not girls know their place in their societies, and how deep seated feminism is in within their belief systems.

Once you add all these things in, the picture changes a bit. Western girls seem less smarter with all their mental problems, unhinged feminism belief systems, etc.

For all intents and purposes, whether a Filipina knows the population of her own country or how to find the Spratly Islands on a map is not so much important as whether she knows how to turn on the stove, operate a washing machine and keep a baby alive during its formative years.

I've met Western girls who could recite the Roe v Wade decision verbatim purely from memory, but could not even boil an egg!

Taiwan girls is generally much hotter than girls from SEA. If Thai and Viet get the very generous rating of 5/5 then I don't know where to put the Taiwanese. They are also smarter and Taipei is much more livable than anywhere in SEA. On the downside they're more difficult to pull and I had to put a lot of more effort in when I was there. It is much more daygame friendly if that's your thing. They are more westernized and that's both good and bad. Can actually have some more intellectual conversations with them.

Phnom Penh is developing quite fast. Quite nice in spots, but generally speaking yes it's very poor.

If you wanted a Cambodian virgin wife I think it would be very doable. As a white guy there I definitely get looked at a lot but they are so shy. The culture is close to the Thai one seeing as the Khmers previously ruled over what is now modern Thailand (most Thais hate being told this embarrassing fact haha).

Just remember that Cambodia has been trough both colonization and civil war. I went to both the killing fields and the prison in Phnom Penh, Pol Pot really destroyed Cambodia. Imo what happened in Cambodia is at least as tragic as what happened in Vietnam, but Cambodia is forgotten because it wasn't apart of the cold war and US/China/Russia wasn't involved. Worth remembering if someone is looking for a wife in Cambodia that her parents and grandparents might have quite a dark history. And I didn't see many hot girls in Phnom Phen, but I only stay a few night and didn't explore the night life.

One thing I find dissapointing with Thai women, are the conversations beyond day to day stuff. I'm not talking about low value, unintelligent, uneducated women. I think it's a cultural thing.
I never had this problem with an Indonesian, Filipina, Singaporean from the same socio-economic class.

Let's say you needed a major operation or procedure. Would you feel the need to go back to your home country for that?

A lot of it is bravado. People assume that someone is very intelligent because they act confident about whatever intelligence they may (or may not) have. Just like people assume a woman is attractive because she struts around as though she is. It's amazing how gullible people are.

Memorizing things isn't intelligence, nor is being aware of pop culture or current events, nor is knowing a few long words. Western women do these things and they do a fine job at fooling people that they're intelligent.

Intelligence is being able to think properly, be rational, creative, and being wise. Filipinas are wiser and more intelligent than western women, most definitely. When you strip away the superficial, it becomes obvious. Don't let the humility and lack of you go girl bravado deceive.

I can't comment on the hospitals, but in Thailand you can get virtually any medication without a prescription. For ailments you can treat yourself (e.g. bacterial STIs, mental health issues, etc.) that's a major advantage. You can literally walk into any pharmacy and buy doxycycline for $1, for example.

I think Indonesia it's kinda shit, I've heard multiple times where locals go to Malaysia or Singapore to get something done.

Thailand it's relatively good, I can imagine the English proficiency being an issue, though some hospitals hire staff specially for this (for instance filipina nurses), there are hospitals sort of specialising in expats and foreigners.

Philippines, not sure.

In the Phils for example, I couldn't buy my contact lenses because the type I use just wasn't imported there (it's one of the major brands worldwide). Imagine if it was some crucial piece of medical equipment or drug. The Phils is too much of a shit-hole for that kind of thing. Manila is probably OK for hospitals for emergency care. Thailand is much better - they have everything there and it's generally a much more pleasant place to be. OTOH they're close, so if you're in the Phils and need to fly to Bangkok for major surgery, it's really not far to go.

Every guy on the board is going to have a different opinion on this, with different tastes, different levels of game and different types of chicks that go for them. Never mind different experiences given parts of each country they've visited etc. But this just makes for a good riveting discussion. Here's my two cents anyway, I'm sure some of you will agree and others will think it's horseshit. But just my personal experience...

It will come as a surprise to nobody who knows me that Indo girls are hands down my favourite of the four. I very much like the fun party chicks who frequent the more fancy end table service clubs and Jakarta girls have no comparison in my opinion for the combination of looks, style, fun personalities and wildness. Not only are they hot they're just bags of fun and up for anything.

I am almost exclusively a nightgamer and am generally looking for hot, fun girls to party with and have short to medium term non-exclusive fuckbuddy style hookups with* who rarely get jealous and have fun bubbly personalities. And Jaks girls fit the bill perfectly. I have lost count of the number of indo girls I've hooked up with but almost all of them I remember fondly (bar a few 6am drunken stinkers).

Viet girls I find the top end of whom are probably the hottest of the 4. Anyone who's been to Qui lounge in Ho Chi Minh City will be hard pushed to name a bar anywhere else in SE Asia with more showstoppers per square meter than that place.

For me they fall down however as generally I find very few are much fun on a night out. Tbh I think thats mainly because their english isn't great, which is more to do with how different their own language is rather than an educational aspect. They can be fun in a quiet cute kind of way but aren't nearly a wild fun as the indos. I found a general tendency for them to be buried in their phones in the club also, more concerned that social media sees them having a great time than...actually having a good time.

With one notable exception I generally have struggled getting any success with the top end hot Viets. So this could just be me being butthurt , but tbh I've rarely if ever seen the top end girls even hanging with any non-Viet dudes never mind hooking up with any of them.

I've done a fair few of the second tier chicks (ie still cute/bangable but not shit your pants hot) tho and they're certainly the most conservative of the four. Sure, a lot of lads like this aspect (some perhaps because they think it scores them more PUA forum points by banging them) but I just find it annoying when a chick who's clearly keen makes it unnecessarily hard work to bang. Sure you might say that maybe I don't have the PUA SKillz required to beat all that LMR, but frankly it's more often due to the reward rarely being worth the effort required and particularly time wasted given I usually am only in town for a weekend.

And when you do bang them, oh man it's a total utter fucking bastard trying to get rid of them the next day. Clinging on in your hotel room like the Soviets in Stalingrad.

Filipina girls I've had some great experiences with. Closer to Indo girls in nature and great banter on a night out (again I think this is more due to their english being better which is more a factor for it being much easier to learn for indos/pinays than it is for thai/viets). Just I find very very few of them hot, generally I find a club in Manila is often a sea of mediocrity (bar perhaps the lounge club Revel). The few top end girls there are heavily sought after and in full awareness of how hot they are. This is probably just a Manila scene thing, but there seemed to be a lot of 'social ladder climbing' behavior also. Chatting to chicks they were constantly having to name drop what celebrities or club owners they were partying with the night before. Got a bit tiresome.

The filipina girls I have dated also almost always had a massive jealous streak through them. They didn't take very well to my popularity and tendency to be friends with other girls and would regularly stalk my facebook for intel.

Thais for me are bottom of the pile. But again this is going by the types I've meet partying in the clubs in Bangkok. Where every girl seems to be operating in some kind of grey area between 'normal' and full blown hooker. But I'm sure this is just the clubs I've been ending up in.

I've banged a fair number of thai girls but am hard pressed to remember more than a couple of them. They may look the part but personality wise so many were just utterly forgettable. Like zero going on upstairs. But again, I think this is synonymous with the Bangkok nightscene where so many girls are either LBs or on the meter I'm constantly on my guard. Plus I'm sure the girls themselves are pretty jaded with so many twat headed farangs piling through the city on vacation in the last few years looking to fill up their bang spreadsheet.

I'm sure however I'm missing a trick in Bangkok. So many guys I know there who have good taste and solid game love the place. I think by living there and going out particularly mid week as opposed to the weekend then you have a much better experience.

I would say for sure if you're less into nightlife and looking for more long term girl to date or even girlfriend material then Viet chicks are probably the way to go. I can see why they're so popular with certain guys, particularly the more laid back types. But Indo/Jakarta girls really suit me style and tastes down to the ground.

*Until recently, I decided to slow things down a bit for the time being and since girlfriended up a proper cracker indo girl

How is your Vietnamese? I'd like to hear more about this.

How has that affected your trip? I see learning Vietnamese as the only problem because I have heard guys that have lived there 8+ years are still working on the language to achieve communication with the locals.

Many say it is tough, unlike Spanish. From what I understand it's not learning the grammar but the pronunciation that throws you off.

It seems the Vietnam women would have to be much better than Filipinas as the English is so much different and rarely spoken. While Vietnamese is so difficult to learn you can just get off the plane in the Philippines and start talking English.

Correct me if I'm wrong. Is the language an issue? Is this as much a hurdle as some seem to say?

Taiwan and Taiwanese girls are seriously underrated in terms of gaming in Asia.

From my experience Taiwanese girls are cuter, cleaner, smarter and much more compatible with Westerners compared to the SEA girls mentioned in this thread. It's also much easier to form a connection with them as young Taiwanese girls generally speak English quite well.

Not only that, Taiwan has a high standard of living compared to the rest of Asia and SEA, the wages are high and cost of living is moderate.

I really should travel to Taiwan again soon.

Irish, thanks for chiming in -- great post. You obviously have a lot more experience with Indos and I haven't spent enough time there to really get a feel for them, as I did with the other three countries.

stpete, my Vietnamese is very basic and only know how to speak a few words of it. Nowhere near conversational levels yet. I'm not worried about the pronunciation though, even English-speaking people have a hard time understanding me in English and I can always write it down to make myself understood. I can do the same with Vietnamese, and so far, my reading and writing are 10x wayt ahead of my pronunciation.

Actually, i find Vietnamese easier than Thai because it uses the latin alphabet so it's already somewhat familiar to me.
