In the past 10-12 years I have had a very difficult time making big decisions in my life, mostly related to my career/ moving and am stuck in the same cycle again right now. I have a new job opportunity which will take me back to the US from Europe (LA) and am debating like crazy about what to do.

I was wondering how you guys make big decisions in your lives:
Pros/Cons Lists
Future thinking
Research, research, research
Flip a coin?

Any help would be so appreciated!

List of pros/cons
Then meditation, intuition - usually you will know after a time.

Where in Europe are you staying?

Debate it over with a few friends, and give it some time.

Taking the time needed to weigh up the decision - don't rush the process.

Separate out the emotion - objective analysis removing the fears, doubts and other irrational influences.

Taking a risk - sometimes choosing the higher risk, higher reward option leads to incredible things in life.

At the end of the day, humans are really bad an imagining the future and making decisions that will make them happy, and predicting how things will make them feel.

I make the decision according to the situation and check out all the risks and benefits.
