I don't think the wall changes the women who crash into as much as it exposes the bad character that was already there.

If they stopped looking at men as one monolithic block and actually went after guys who shared a common value-system then the problem would be solved without having to resort to coercion, but that won't happen because they can't get wet for betas. They don't realize they are part and parcel of perpetuating the status quo.
