For the most part the only thing to worry about in Iran is creating some kind of political unrest. Don't try to walk across the border. Don't try to overthrow the government. Don't try to preach another religion while belittling Islam. You get my point. Aside from that sort of thing, just have the sense to not do anything stupid like openly talking about alcohol or trying to finger bang a girl on the bus.

I think what I just said applies to anyone who goes to Iran, and even Iranians who have never left the country. I don't think Iranian-Americans are more likely to be effected in any way. I never felt like anyone was treating me differently.If there is in fact a higher proportion of Iranian-Americans getting in trouble, I would imagine it is because we allow ourselves more liberties because we assume some sort of infallibility with the laws. I myself did things I probably shouldn't have.

In fact, most Iranians love America. Me being from America was ALWAYS a plus with both men and women. I'm not saying some people in Iran would have disliked me for it, but I didn't experience anything like that. The worst reaction I got about being American was some girls not caring, and even that was rare.

Your biggest impediment to getting laid in Iran will be language. Most Iranians suck at English.

Your second issue will be Iranian girls being cock teases and the time and effort involved into bedding most of them.

You probably have an advantage in getting an Iranian flag if you live in LA. In Iranian you will have an intriguing presence because of you being American, but it is a tough group to get with.

If you're interested in seeing Iran, I highly recommend it, especially if you study the language for a year or so.

Iranian women in the West, and I am speaking here about those who were born and for the most part raised in Iran and then moved to the West (not those born in the West to begin with), are a tricky situation. Not that they are super hard to get with, but it's hard to pin down what will work best on them as a whole.

First off, the important question is are you looking to just get the flag as in even a ONS with an Iranian girl will satisfy your interest, do you want to maybe have a LTR with one, or are you looking to make bedding and or dating Persian girls a relatively big part of your love life? Also, what ethnicity are you (I'm assuming white)?

If I want to over generalize, Iranian women in the West (again I am referring to those born in Iran) seem to follow a trend I read in a thread about Dominicans. In Iran they are obsessed with or at the very least open to dating foreigners. What I have noticed though is that when they come to the West and have spent a little time here, a very large proportion of them want to have LTR (monogamous BF or marriage) with Iranian men or Iranian American men. That is not 100% the case though.

The other thing I have noticed is that Iranian women in the West are as slutty as any other nationality, but for the most part they do a better job than any other group of women I've ever come into contact with at covering it up. When it comes to casual sex, it isn't uncommon for them to sleep with White, Black, other Middle Eastern, or South Asian men. A lot of times they have a strong fetish for one of these groups, and if you fit the criteria and have decent game it isn't hard to get with them. However, don't be surprised if they keep you a secret and don't allow you into their lives, at least in terms of their connections with the rest of the Iranian community.

Again, I'm not saying there aren't plenty of Iranian girls that aren't the opposite. I've known some that married foreign men, and cheated on them with Iranian men. I've also known plenty that date openly or marry men of other races.

So to be more specific and better answer your question, this is what I'd recommend.

1. If you want to just have a fling with an Iranian girl. Target them in a night game environment and go with standard Western game. If they are open to a ONS or similar type situation with you, they will want you as a Westerner both in terms of how you look and the game you spit.

2. If you want a LTR with one or a few Iranian girls, but don't want to get too deep into things. Confident with beta tendencies will work fine. Pay for the dates, be courteous, and take your time. Game in Iran is somewhat like what you have described by saying confident with beta tendencies, but that is a very non-nuanced way to put it. Game in Iran, aside from trying to get a girl because you have a nice car, nice house, or an in with the secret nightlife, is almost like what the Latin lover has come to mean. You constantly call and text to show your affection. This is the opposite of Western game where you appear aloof. You have to be constantly contacting her and be as classically "romantic" as possible. This is the way to go in this situation, unless if she is dating you because she wants an entirely new experience, in which case it will backfire and Western game is your solution.

3. If you want to make Iranian women a solid part of your love life. The best thing to do is to adapt your game to what I described in number 2, and to do two other things. Learn as much about Iranian culture as possible so she knows you will understand her identity (which is huge to most Persian girls). For example, there is a commonly talked about tradition that Iranians have that doesn't make sense to Westerners called "Tarof". Tarof is a situation, in which every Iranian for the most part participates. When someone comes to your house or in your shop or whatever, you always offer them something like food several times, and they politely decline several times. It isn't like in America or Europe where you may ask a friend if they want a drink once or not at all, and leave it at that. Even when you go to most stores in Iran and try to buy something they will say the equivalent of "it isn't worthy of you" as in take it for free. Then you politely thank them and say please, how much is it. Then they tell you the price and you pay and thank them again. This is one small example of how the culture is probably different than what you're used to, and the better you understand it the further you'll get with Iranian women, particularly if you're looking for something serious.

The second thing I would highly recommend, although I recommend this to everyone to do, is to learn the language of a group you are interested in, in this case Farsi. You don't need to learn how to read and write, just to speak. If you are a Western guy and you learn to speak even intermediate Farsi, this will open a TON of doors. If like I said you want to make Iranian women a big part of your life, dedicate 30 minutes a day to learning Farsi and it will go very far.

I don't doubt that, and it sounds like a good lead.

The most visited places by Iranian nationals are Dubai and Turkey. It's common knowledge that some Iranian women go to those two countries to hook-up and also to prostitute. I've heard tales of Iranian girls that visit Dubai once a month or so and whore for like a week and that is all the "work" that they do to live in Tehran. I've also heard from Iranian girls in Iran that they believe Persian women are among the highest paid prostitutes in Dubai. The thing is though that Iranian women can be found all over the world, and especially in the West. Of course the major destination for Iranians to live abroad in the West is California, and particularly LA. They can also be found in high numbers in much of Western Europe.

While a girl on vacation and away from her family/community can be much more sexually open, I wouldn't recommend flying anywhere besides Iran if you want to bed Iranian women. Iranians abroad, whether living or vacationing there, generally do not make up a large percentage anywhere. Plus keep in mind that although they may be more open abroad, they are still Iranian women, and in my opinion are notoriously hard to hookup with. If you don't get your flag where you live and REALLY want it, hit up Tehran and take the risk.

Another thing I forgot to mention, in Iran, being a Shi'i Muslim country, there is such thing as a legal temporary marriage.

I am not sure if it is available to non-Iranians, but for a fee you can have a contract set up with a girl that allows you to act for all intents and purposes as a married couple. Sex with her is legal, you can check into hotels together, and do anything else that is legal for a married couple to do.

Also as far as I know you can have several of these temporary marriages at the same time.

The big risk with this strategy, which I have never personally tried, is the potential issue you may have when you travel back home if the girl somehow gives knowledge of the temporary marriage to your home country and tries to pull a psycho chick move.

Definitely not an option for me, though I suppose the process of divorce is easier in Iran than going through a divorce rape process at a western court.

What repels me from gaming in Iran is the death penalty on adultery. I can imagine there are lots of girls who are separated but not yet divorced, or they never bothered to divorce a temporary marriage (or do such marriages end automatically?).

My understanding of a temporary marriage is that it is something like a contract with a finite time. The exchange of money is usually a part of it, and sometimes they even agree to "how many nights a week" can be spent together, i.e. frequency of sex. I'm not saying this is always the case, just what I've heard (and I've heard the girl can agree to as little as $1). In a typical case you would agree to pay a certain amount (let's just throw a random number up, $300 a month) for a specified amount of time. After the time is up the marriage is finished. Just some additional information for you even though you aren't interested.

You can game anywhere in Iran, not just Northern Tehran. I didn't game a single girl in North Tehran and I did ok. The hottest girl I got with in fact, although this was through social circle, was from a very religious and conservative province that my mom is from.

The reason you hear about North Tehran is because this is how Iran works. The only exception I know of, and once again this is what I've heard not personally experienced, is that women from the Caspian (in Farsi called Shomal, meaning "North") are said to be very liberated (I have no idea how much that translates into casual sex). Aside from that exception, everywhere in Iran is generally more conservative than Tehran as a whole. This doesn't mean casual sex can't happen, just that it is MUCH harder. In these places having a girl or 2 or 3 that you meet up with to talk to and maybe hold hands with in private generally makes you a player, as sad as that is. One of my cousins, the one through which I was introduced to the hot chick that I banged many times, was considered a playboy in the capitol city of where my mom is from. His dating of these girls was having them come to my other cousin's perfume store in a mall and the girl pretending to be a customer while he flirted with her. Now I'm not saying sex doesn't happen in these places (and by that I mean outside of Tehran), but that is a typical example of what is considered a playboy lifestyle for a young guy outside of Tehran.

Now the next level is Tehran in general, excluding the North section. Tehran in general, while it has some very religious/conservative areas and also very dangerous spots (I've seen two guys get killed in a gang fight with my own eyes and several other fights), is generally much more liberal for two reasons. The first is it is a dynamic city, and by that I mean it is always changing and people dont know each other nearly as well as outside of the city. This is one of the biggest impediments to bedding a Persian girl in Iran or even abroad, her community/social circle. You could walk down a street with a girl and for the most part no one will know who you are. The second reason it is liberal is because it is the center of the nation in almost every aspect. I'm not sure if you live in America or not, but I'll use the US as a counterexample. In the US the political center is DC, the economic center is NYC, the entertainment center is split between LA and NYC, the South is entirely its own thing, the major tech center is Northern California, etc etc etc. Everything is entirely split up. In Iran, aside from farming, oil in the South, and the Caspian in the North, everything is in Tehran.

If you go to Vali-e-Asr, you'll find a place riddled with students and artistic types. I've even seen cafes with guys playing guitars and people watching, which is an amazing sight to see in Iran.

If you go to the main Bazaar, called Bazaar-e-Bozorg, you'll find many lower middle class Tehranis and a ton of out of towners shopping (this was the main spot I pulled from)

If you go to Karaj, which is it's own city but essentially a suburb of Tehran that is connected by train, you'll find mainly a community of transplants from all over Iran (I got MANY of my numbers from girls from Karaj).

There are many more examples of Tehran in general, but you get the point. If you just wanted to game girls, you could literally go to one of the main squares, called Meydoon in Farsi, and stand there from morning to night and probably collect over 40 numbers in one day (given that you speak Farsi and don't get the police called on you for being too conspicuous). Also, another thing that I might not have mentioned, in Iran girls take your number. It is the opposite of the West where you get her number. This isn't always or even that frequently the case, but it is the standard way things work.

Now onto North Tehran. The reason North Tehran is always thrown out as the place to game has a few different reasons. First off, this is usually where the wealthiest Persians in Iran live. With this wealth there is more of a likelihood that you will meet a girl that has been abroad as far as Europe or the US, that knows more English than average and is better educated, and that has access to a car to come pick you up for a date (a HUGE bonus in Iran where the majority don't even own a piece of shit Chinese car).

On top of the wealth, there is the party scene. Iran has an underground party scene where you will feel like you are in a club in the West, just instead filled with Iranians. This mainly takes places in North Tehran because the police don't fuck with them nearly as much because they're rich (like everywhere in the world) and also because their homes are spacious enough to accommodate loud music, hashish smoke, and tons of young people drinking alcohol and yelling. Do you think they are able to party like that in South Tehran (the poor side) where a family of 8 might live in a two bedroom? I have a rich distant cousin that lives there and his most boring nights are going to pool parties with girls and picking random girls up off the street in his BMW. If you can get involved in the North Tehran party scene, you might not ever want to leave Iran.

The last reason North Tehran is great for game is simply because it is safe and there is a lot to do that draws crowds of young people.

For those reasons North Tehran > Tehran > the rest of Iran.

The hidden gem I can tell you about when it comes to game, which you may already know and it applies to everywhere in Iran but especially Tehran, is the large parks at night. The large parks in Iran at night are where kids go to rent and smoke a hookah, kick a soccer ball around, flirt with guys/girls, and to unwind in general. The parks are basically the Iranian equivalent of a nightclub or as close as you will get outside of the underground party scene of North Tehran.

So if your purpose is game, hit Tehran and go for:

1. The major parks at night when the weather permits
2. The malls and bazaars
3. The main squares (which are really circles) that are called Meydoon

So it seems my dream of visiting Iran will be reality son.
In september I am heading over for some days (8 full days), would this be enough time to see tehran, isfahan and Shiraz, or will it be to rushed. If you had to pick between Isfahan or shiraz?
Planing on going by bus. Traveling solo.
Also I am having a little trouble finding reasonable hotels/hostels and sites that allowes direct booking. any input here?

If you strictly stay in those three cities and don't go on bigger tours to the countryside it's definitely doable within 8 days. But you definitely have to focus on what you wanna see.

From a sightseeing viewpoint, I liked Isfahan more than Shiraz. More impressive, more things to do, more diverse.

Shiraz seemed underwhelming, especially in comparison to Isfahan. The places I've visited in Shiraz are surely valuable to Iranians but less to me (examples: a holy shrine of shia muslims or a mausoleum of a local writer). On the other hand, architectural sites such as Pasargadae and Persepolis are near Shiraz.

I had the same issues with accommodation. It's the first time that I used wikitravel as a resource. Sometimes I just asked a taxi driver for hotel recommendations. Those two methods are barely useful in other countries, but it worked in Iran.

I'm no foodie and did not explore the cuisine. Chicken kebab and rice is available practically everywhere. There are a lot of fast food shacks. For healthy eating go to sit down restaurants or fruit and vegetable vendor stands.

Being an Iranian/Swedish raised in Sweden I have only been to Iran twice, last time was 12 years ago (today I am 24) but I agree with a lot of things being said, e.g being secure and they (police) don't bother you so much.

Having cousins who have travelled recently and telling me that it has changed a lot for the better, women are dressing and acting more freely, not so strict as it used to be is making me wanting to travel really badly. Definitely wanting to go back to Teheran to check out how it is with my own eyes. A lot of iranian girls here in Sweden too but they are (like most Swedish girls) a bit too prude for my taste.

With my looks being very Swedish, every farsi-speaking person I've met has gotten shocked that someone with blue eyes speaks Farsi, so I can imagine over there would be a tremendous success.
