Ye, a normal handheld taser fucks you up for a moment or two, and if you're not in fighting mode can drop you, but once you're pissed off and on the war path it's not that much of a deterrent. I used to live with my dickhead best friend, who is 120lbs soaking wet at 6', and he had a taaser he'd smuggled back from somewhere that was pretty fucking mean. His favourite game was to give you a surprise tasing as you walked down the hall. As others have said, it hurts, for a second, and can make you take a knee if you're caught by surprise as it can stop your breath. I don't know about the police style taser guns though.

The boxing gym where I train has a lot of 'boot camp' fitness programs, so we get a lot of typical American (fat) women that occasionally want to try one of the combat training programs. We did an exercise a few weeks ago where I would spar against 3 of the newer women, but not be allowed to land any major strikes. I was allowed to parry, post, check, and throw light teeps, and that was about it. They were instructed to go 100%. At the end of the first round one of them was doubled over clutching her stomach, one was limping off the mat, and the other stormed off in frustration. Coach laughed his ass off.

It's not considered vigilantist because the bounty hunters have a warrant or court order. They work for a bail bondsman and if you don't show up for court, the bondsman has a legal right to go get you and bring you before the court on your failure to appear warrant.

I used to go do some jobs with a bounty hunter when I was in college. He had a ragged child molester looking van and we'd go try to fill that fucker up with bad guys. He'd give me a cut of the bounty. It was fun. And if I got $100 or $200, then that's a lot of money for a broke ass college student.

There's a large park scenario by my house and work. The city and county of Honolulu decided to force a whole lot of homeless up this way. These aren't friendly bums these people were drugged out and hiding from the law.

Somehow, the dog the bounty hunter team got involved, I'd assume to recover bail, and did the job of some type of us marshall / Honolulu police / state sheriff task force. They did it totally off camera and without guns. They caught like 20 people inside of two weeks.

I saw them in action a bunch of times. They were some of the most foul mouthed cigarette smoking beer drinking shitlords I've ever seen. Just complete assholes. But they cleaned up the area. And dog is a little guy, maybe 5'5, going up against meth smoking 250 pound Samoans. And he's gotta be pushing 70 years old.

Now, with my little nieces and nephews in sports, they play some of those peoples kids or grandkids. Their whole crew is the nicest most generous group you will ever meet. They have free shave ice trucks come to games or they get people to barbeque. They're just great. Total night and day difference than when they work.

Well he's not the bondsmen I would reccomend , but his company is very reputable and very successful.

Read up about Dog Chapman. The reason they don't carry guns isn't because theyre some type of hippies. Its because Dog is a convicted murderer. He can't own one.

Before his show started there was a big deal where they captured a guy named Andrew Luster who was a make up company heir and serial rapist. He skipped out on a huge bail and Dog, his son, and a guy named Tim Chapman went down to Mexico and caught him. Mexico extradited their crew for illegal restraint of that guy or something. Dogs lawyer in Honolulu is big time and Condoleeza Rice somehow got involved.

Tim Chapman now, he also ran a successful bonding company until he got caught masturbating outside Ala moans shopping center in the back of a van. After that he kind of disappeared.

When I first saw this, it seemed so hilariously unprofessional that I was 100% convinced the "Lipstick Bounty Hunters" were some obscure comedy sketch group tapping into the same style of humor as those old Roadrunner and Coyote cartoons. So I set out to find proof that this video is fake and be a buzzkill in the name of truth.

It's real. Turns out a pellet from that gun hit the guy's right eye, permanently blinding it, and he ended up suing the team as a result.

So it turns out that the man was indeed dangerous and should have been handled way more carefully than sending in 4 fat trailer park moms into a crowded Arby's just so they could film it.

They should have done this somewhere else away from a public venue and the PD or Sheriff deputies should have been the ones making the arrest.

But if the guy followed his uncle into the yard and then shot him in the gut, then I don't have much sympathy if he got his eye put out by the Mom Patrol.

It's also fair to ask whether having his eye put out led him down that road. Everyone is different, but I know that personally, being disabled in that kind of fashion would lead me down a dark hateful direction.
