Time to be honest to ourselves. i don't have any fond memories of my mother loving me as child, she was too busy fighting with my father and grandmother.

Do many of us have this hollowness in life and is it that which drives your craving for affection/validity which is linked with the pursuit of women?

Or is it something like it satisfies our ego in absence of larger goals?

Or could it be that we see this as a means to improve ourselves by making ourselves better men.

Have we given this endless pursuit without an end goal a thought?

Is it a waste of time, if you are achieving joy doing so? + improvement of social skills which can be used in other areas of life.

Who are you to say it's pointless? I think the vast majority of the forum disagrees, let alone MILLIONS of men worldwide. If chasing pussy doesn't make sense for you, fair! But that doesn't mean that others lack motherly love or have deeper problems.

Of course we all do. It's the reason why we have great works of art, infrastructure, and other modern marvels.

If all men were concerned with the act of getting laid, we'd be bonobos and won't have anything to show for it.

@TheBeast- My problem lies in not crossing this chasm of sexual gratification. In general, women find me attractive and i am able to carry a conversation. Would you believe i almost seduced a woman to go home with me in clinton - supporting democrats meet up, while she was sitting with her mother. And this feeling of being able to just walk to a pretty woman and get their phone has come to become a ego boosting one. And the younger ones here in the USA are so unstable (lets not get started here). The solution lies in setting goals beyond such insignificant ones. OP's post sounds like the lamentations of someone who's so far from getting dick to snatch that it seems like a tremendous amount of time to waste for a little pussy.

@Leaonardo, i think we cannot assume that everyone was born with natural " getting a woman to sleep just like getting a cab" ability..A lot of hours are wasted in getting a date(texting, swiping, logistics) etc and then honing the skills to achieve the ultimate goal, no matter how good looking the person. My whole point from a larger perspective is about putting efforts to better use and not supplement better (subjective) means of achieving meaning in life with than that of seeping with as many possible.
