Are they the Gurkhas? When I was a kid I had an English buddy that was a WW2 Para. He was actually my granddad's war buddy, but he became my good friend too. He spoke very highly of the Gurkhas which were actually Nepalese (?). I was like 9ish so I don't remember much. But he said they had some crazy ass curved machete and were very good fighters.

Those who believe that the hijab girl on her iPhone is an effective piece of propaganda are not giving the average person enough credit. It may galvanize ideologues who are already anti-Islam, but normal people will see it for what it is; a mean-spirited attack on an individual who didn't do anything wrong.

I know we're all frustrated about the nasty tactics the left uses to demonize its enemies, but the way to win over reasonable people is to be better than the left, not to act as the other side of the same rotten coin.

I think the more salient matter is that it's just poor tactics to use symbolism that can easily be disputed as easily as posting pictures of native white British doing precisely the same thing.

When you encounter a situation like that, you have three options.

(1) Give aid, not recommended if you lack training and there are already a significant amount of people assisting.

(2) Rubberneck. Adds no value and makes it harder for the people helping to do their job.

(3) Keep walking and stay out of the way so that those who are already assisting can do so as easily as possible.

It would be the easiest thing in the world for me to believe that she may have walked by even if she was medically trained and no-one was assisting. But that's not what the photo shows, so it's simply not persuasive.

Using it as a symbol will only have value to those who are strongly anti-Muslim and don't want to tackle the problem logically. There is plenty of better material available that demonstrates the Muslim threat. The Koran, for example.

But the Sikhs are so marginalized within the greater numbers of traditional Muslims, Sunni and Shia who are 95%? 85% of all Muslims - their numbers in the world are highly uncertain. Sikhs are far safer in the West or India than nations predominantly Muslim.

Sikhs embrace a thoroughly mystical version of the faith, instead of the orthodox didactic one(s) which results in prescriptive reductionism - ethically and doctrinally.

You are not defiant. Defiance stems from the word "defy", that is, to resist.

Poland is defiant. As are most sections of Europe that have direct experience with Islamic "migrations" in centuries past. As is any country that looks at the rest of the world and says "Fuck you, we like our borders controlled by us, not by the UN." That is defiance: seeing a threat and saying fuck you, if you want blood, you will have it in equal measure.

The only defiance the UK is showing is against its own, non-Muslim population: the UK, for the last decade or more, has said "Fuck you, we will obey the globalist agenda" to its own people and is now reaping the results.
