Iv been using this forum to get so much info that it is only right that i give back some.

1. About me: South african of Indian descent,mid 20's, 6ft, Dark. Sub par game.

2. Trip details: 4 day trip in March (off season). Stayed in bnb in Paceville.

3. City: beautiful city and amazing food. Not to mention the beach (though i could not take a swim because of the weather).

4. Best time to visit: may to September (tourist season)

5.Hookup rate: Made out with 3 women could not take it further because- logistics, one was way to drunk, the girls boyfriend came back.

6. Strolling the city, you would notice that the ratio of foreigners is almost equla to the locals for reasons such as great weather. Language (everybody speaks english), inexpensive. Locals are real friendly and have a good vibe to hang out with.
I stayed in the north in St. Julians in a bnb close to the coast. After going through this forum, my game plan was to stay in a bnb close to the party district and hit on foreigners. Worked better than i thought ! I would suggest you do the same because of logistics.
I didn't day game because i still havent grown a pair and still need liquid courage to some extent to approach women.
My night game was pretty good ! The first night(friday) i was all by myself. I walked up to the entrance of Paceville (party district) and started of with a couple of drinks in this street pub (yes! the street was the pub and people were standing on the street drinking). The entire place was packed with locals and i tried chatting up with some locals - Did not work out.
LESSON LEARNT: they get a lot of foreigners and everybody hits on them so even average looking girls have princess attitude there but not on tinder (il get to that later).
Moved my location to the Havana club (run from this place as fast as you can). As soon as i got in, the entire place looked so wrong. Full of north african men just eyeballing each other and finding the slightest reasons to get into a fight. The best part was the bouncers did not care one bit !
Stayed there for a while and moved to the club next door, was much better with the ratios and there were foreigners here. Game on !
Started chatting up with this swedish bunch (6's and 7's), was into this one chick (cute, tall and green eyes). After a while we start making out and it goes on for a while we agree to go back to my place. Just when we are about to leave her friend gets into an argument with her and creates a scene at the club. Long story short: we decide to exchange numbers and meet the next day (we did not).

Second day: i wanted to change my approach and go to a coupe of expat pubs on the coast. The first one i went to had a good english crowd which was welcoming. Started talking to one group which had a good girl to guy ratio. There was this one Australian kylie minogue look alike chick who i was talking to and after a while we started making out. After a couple of minutes i get dragged back by this guy who is about to punch me, i duck through the punch and he was held back by his friends. Only then did i realize that i was making out with his girlfriend and i tried explaing to him that i did not know that and we kissed on mutual consent. He got mad at his girlfriend and i leave the place.

Third day (sunday): thought it would be a quite night but apparently the maltese party on sunday too !
I went to one of the sports bars in paceville and was chatting up with a lot of local women( one after the other). I was getting flaked every single time but i had nothing to lose so why not !
At about 2 AM i was talking to these drunk German women who kept complimeting me about my eyes and smile and i starr making out with one of the girls and both of them talk to each other in german and the girl who i was making out tells me that her friend likes me too (i smiled to myself and looked above to thank his holiness for i was about to have a threesome). Within no time one of the girls throws up, me and the other girl clean her up and take her out. The girl who threw up is shitface drunk and collapses on the street and does not react to any of our calls. Her friend gets worried and call an ambulance. She leaves with her unconscious friend to emergency.

I had to leave the next day !

Im definitely going back during summer but i would do the following:
1. Tinder more ! - all the locals want to be with a foreigner but would not do it in front of their friends. I met an argentinian who hardly spoke english who was with 6 maltese girls in 4 days, all from tinder.
2. Day game more: there are a lot of hen groups that are together and are looking to get laid. If you start chatting up with some at the centre, your chances are quite high.
3. Hit on nordic foreigners.
4. Not hit on groups with guys and girls in equal proportions.

Malta is a really, really nice place but Paceville is mostly a shitshow condensing the worst parts of Balearic nightlife in one tiny, overcrowded area - full of wasted teenagers and shitty bars with asshole doormen. I went for the first time when I was 24 and already felt too old for it. In Summer when it's hot and you can barely move, people get really aggressive as well. Sometimes can be trashy fun but there's plenty of neat venues elsewhere on the island.

I lived 2 years and half in Malta and these years/months where the biggest pussy desert in my whole life.
Love the Island for so many reasons but definitely hate it if we are talking about what RooshV is about.

Reason Malta is full of foreigners living there is because it's an internet businesses tax heaven, a hell LOT of Online Casinos are based there for example. There are especially a LOT of Scandinavian people. And NO, they are IMHO definitely not easy to pull.

PS: Maltese girls damn. Might be the worst women in all Europe, even if some of them have some nice Latin/Arabic looks. Most catholic country in the world as well thus, not only they are afraid of what their friends could think (and since it's such a small island, everyone knows everyone) but also, they definitely have religious pressure.

That said, I was never daygaming back then and I'd say that walking by Gzira/Sliema/San Julian strands (I mean, the walking paths by the coast) could get you pretty good results. IMHO, daygaming could be the only way to have interesting results there and get you out of the completely trash that is Gaming in Paceville.

My conclusion is : do not visit Malta for gaming purposes, it's not worth it. But if this is not your first aim, it has indeed the best weather in Europe and in a few days time, you can see quite a lot of interesting cultural places and landscapes....even though the main one just collapsed ! http://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2...-collapses

Quite the trip and a helluva a datasheet about an atypical place.
I love to read honest datasheets, even when the guy isnt nailing a new girl every night. Seems like you just had a run of bad luck, Ive had the vomiting girl ruin a sure thing before too. Maybe daygame would have tipped things in your favor but in such a short trip it can be hard for things to all fall into place.

I disagree. Girls here have high bitch shields because of all the thirsty Italian guys here, but it can be fruitful.

I had eight of guy friends here for one weekend last month. 3 got laid. 2 others have girlfriends and 1 is married so were out of the game. Talk about results!

Granted, they were wearing sombreros. (Mexican pirate power!)

As for Paceville, there is a new club that just opened in St.Julians that holds almost as much people as the whole of Paceville. Place is crazy. I think it's called Toboolay or something.

But the best place to go now is Funky Monkey in Gzira. Laid back, huge, attracts all types. Little or no tourists, just expats, students and more open-minded locals.

Tinder has also become extremely popular here.

Valletta is for older people. Good for a pub crawl but not for pick up. Most of the action is in and around Paceville. Or as I mentioned previously, check out Funky Monkey in Gzira. Hit me up when you arrive to see if I'm in the country. There are festivals galore around that time that are worth a look.

If I wanted to break into the online casino business or an industry in Malta in general, what type of skill should I pick up? What's most in demand?

Also, is learning Italian a good alternative to Maltese? Does Italian get you far both commercially and socially?

Was in Malta in January. With my girl so minimal partying but Paceville was bouncing even then. Went to a few of the bars. Seemed like Hugo's was everywhere. The girls aren't shy in handing you flyers for strip clubs with a girl on your arm I liked the look of the typical girl and they knew how to dress for a night out. I thought Paceville looked like a cockfest on a Saturday night while people watching from a bar but I would assume this improves as the year gets warmer. On the Sunday lunchtime we were there we actually saw two pretty girls outside a flat in Valletta changing from heels/short skirts to something covering more skin for a family meal perhaps. Wonder what they had been up to in that flat As for the island it is beautiful. Went all over from Marsaxlokk to Gozo. Well priced and great food (especially Biancos). Think I may have actually passed you Naughty Nomad outside a bar in Sliema with friends. Wasn't sure but I wonder how I would have explained to my girl about why I recognised you

@Heartbreakkid: Everybody speaks English, I wouldn't bother learning any other language. If you want to make good money it's in developing, SEO, design, affiliate marketing, and content management. Great lifestyle. Western Europe salaries with Eastern Europe prices.

Recently came back from my trip in Malta. Stayed 4 days there. Malta is really nice and beaches have crystal clear water. The water was still too cold but I think its definitely location if you are into diving or snorkeling.
As Malta has a lot italian influence food is quite good. A lot of sizilian people are living here which opened Gelaterias and Restaurants with italian food. Also good coffee shops are around.
As for the girls I just had one make-out with a russian girl. Maltese girls are kind of bitchy and hard to approach. Best way would be day gaming with them. In the summer you should hit on russian and scandinavian girls as the probability is a lot higher to get laid.
IMO I wouldnt go back as there are a lot better destinations in Europe to get laid and there is not much to see of landscapes and a lack of culture.

Lack of culture? There are hundreds of churches on that tiny island, lots of them very beautiful. Quite a few cool local festivals (the fireworks shit gets annoying though). Pretty architecture in places like Valletta and Mdina. Same for landscapes...well, the Azure Window literally just went under, but places like St. Peter's Pool, Comino and the countless beautiful little bays are nothing to sneeze at. Nice local cuisine as well. But I mean yeah, if you just stay in St. Julian's for 4 days I can see how you might get that impression.

The coolest thing about Malta (and what really differentiates it from other European party destinations) is that thanks to the iGaming and IT industries and a smaller assortment of digital nomads and startups, you have a significant population of foreigners from all over Europe living on the island long term, giving it an unique international vibe that no other location in Southern Europe really can match.

I am going to give Malta a shot for 4 days in early July. Home base in and around Paceville would be appropriate then?
