RE: Mass starvation and famine in Africa
Dust, For the purpose of this thread, I think the idea is WHICH COUNTRIES in Africa are starving??

Maybe 2 out of 54. In both cases, the cause- war. If Libya is included, a situation caused by the irresponsible actions of your very own Obama administration in a well run country, because Gadaffi planned on dumping PetroDollars.
Oh well, the strong must do what they can. Thats life. But don't whine that you're being taxed to death to feed some random dude in AfriNowhereCa

RE: Mass starvation and famine in Africa
That map shows over 20 countries at least "serious" on the hunger index (which could be NGOs begging for money for non-starving countries, I'll give you that.)

But if you're blaming the average American for our evil government, take a look in the mirror.

Yes, we could violently overthrow the government.

Why don't you do so in Mexico, though, seeing as how cartels control your country, from the streets all the way to the top?

< Of course we know that most countries are not starving in Africa.

But which country south of the Sahara is a beacon of civilization, peace and prosperity? Mass starvation is not the main issue facing most African countries - all despite the claims by the NGOs.

Yes, before white people turned up. Same goes for India. Europeans arent going to solve a problem they caused, and are still causing.

Most people dont know that Winston Churchill caused a famine in India that killed millions. The sooner European countries leave Africa to their own devices, the better for Africa. But there's too much money at stake for that to actually happen.

True, but only because prior to the arrival of the Europeans, African population density was never able to exceed levels enabled by Africans' own endogenous technological and organizational skills.

When the Europeans arrived, their superior agricultural and organizational techniques allowed an explosion in the amount of food produced, which removed the Malthusian limits Africans previously faced and allowed the African population to explode.

Then when the Europeans left/were booted, the Africans found themselves in a pickle. They were now at European levels of population density but without the Europeans, they were struggling to maintain the civilizational infrastructure required to maintain that density level.

So are the Europeans to blame? Depends how you look at it. Any Africans who end up dying of starvation because European technology enabled African populations to exceed levels Africans are capable of sustaining on their own would never have been born in the first place were it not for the Europeans.

If we look at historical population patterns, we can see that African population was more or less stuck at ~50m for centuries. It then exploded to close to a billion in less than 150 years after Europeans established a heavy presence on the African continent. In other words, 950 million Africans alive today owe their very existence to the evil Europeans "fucking up" Africa.

And it's not just Africa, obviously. 90%+ of the "people of color" alive today are alive only because of the evil white man they love to hate so much.

What the fuck is wrong with you guys? You don't say Africa is starving because of famine... you say South Sudan is facing a looming food crisis because of their goddamn civil war! Africa consists of at least 54 countries....

I am not starving and please stop the whole stuff of we breed like rabbits because here in Nigeria we don't.... my mother has 2 children... my father has 3 (he had a kid when he was 19years before he married at 29 years)... Every couple in my extended family has no more than 4 children!

We farm here in Nigeria (a country in West Africa - in case you guys don't know).... so where is the whole issue of food aid coming from? A country at war (south sudan) does NOT represent the whole of Africa!

You think being African means low IQ or being poor... news flash we have wealthy and intelligent men here in Africa!

I am a Quantity Surveyor, my sister is a pharmacist.... so believe me we aint starving here.... when a country is at war, farmers CANNOT grow crops or raise livestock - that is the problem that some areas in South Sudan are currently facing.

Please keep you money... we don't need your foreign aid... the AU (African Union) would do its best to come to the assistance of the vulnerable South Sudanese people... now all of you bashing Africa please shove your goddamn cents and dollars up your asses!

< Nigeria and other countries have different problems than mass starvation - strange corrupt employment practices of not paid wages for months for one.

I dated an intelligent girl from Nigeria a last year for a while - all her sisters and cousins were also smart, educated and hot.

Still - the country has massive problems with immense corruption and systematic failures in many areas.

Mass starvation is overblown by the NGOs just like the supposed AIDS epidemic that kills everyone.

I briefly dated two Nigerian nursing students in Manila a few years back, they were easily two of the nicest, pleasant girls I've ever dated: WDAN (Would Date Another Nigerian)!

I used to live in Nigeria and there is so much money and corruption, it's ungodly. Many parts of the country are definitely in poverty, but I was insulated so I didn't get to see much of that. Despite what kind of background they come from, the people are as sharp as a tack and dedicated to improving the country. It really shows in their art and music.

These days I'm seeing an uptick of wealthy Africans leave for greener pastures like the US/UK, but also very resourceful individuals from poorer backgrounds make it work in more non-traditional pathways like the ME or Asia. As you can expect, there's definitely a bit of brain drain because of human capital flight. Many do return however and invest their wealth and resources into local economies.

One thing that you need to understand is Africa's development is still quite young, so there is no demographic cliff like in Europe and will not likely occur for the foreseeable future. This is why frenchcorp proposed a hands-off approach, not to lambaste da evil white manz like Eddie eloquently suggests, but rather to get their internal affairs in order without outside interference masquerading as benevolent parties. For all the yapping about identity politics he does, I'd assume he'd jump in front of this with some cogent points.

I'm not so hopeful though. Chinese seem to want to protect their own interests in Africa and that can only cause issues downstream, but we'll see.

Maine and Canadian lobsters are the same animal. Prove me wrong.

I'd rather have a lower, better-off african population. And Europeans havent boosted the african population for the betterment of africans, so that whole line of reasoning is strange.

This whole post is worded as if Europeans got involved to do africans a favour, which is pretty funny.

Nobody is going to be thanking europeans for unsustainably boosting a continents population any time soon.

I seem to recall little milk carton type boxes in grade school that we all mput money in to save the starving Ethiopians. That was pushing 40 years ago.

As I said in another thread, the developed world needs to step back and let the African nations handle their own shit. Western and Eastern styles of governance are probably just not going to work. I can't imagine Nigerians becoming drones like the Chinese, or Sundanese having Democracy like the USA. Of course, this'll never happen. The West and East will always fight for their interests but I think letting African reach equilibrium in a vacuum would be best for all the nations of Africa.

I will be checking my PMs weekly, so you can catch me there. I will not be posting.

RE: Mass starvation and famine in Africa
The thing is that when someone reaches some "elite" situation (local chief, minister, president, parliament etc) , most of the time his primary concern won't be to return their trust to the people, but to just put as much as possible money in his/her pocket because of the dire situation there.
People will also flock to his/her house to ask for money. Even if you are just an average joe people will still come and ask anyway. We in Senegal lack the ability westerners and asians have to fend for themselves and reinvest their gains to keep their situation in a state of virtuous cycle.
Here, if you are succesful, you only have two options when you get money: give it for free to people, or have them hate you and sometimes conspire (or even go to the sorcerer! It baffles me that this shit still exists in 2017) to have your fortune disappear.
This is many africans who reach some level of success just remain in the western world, where they will thrive on the european values and won't get sucked dry by all the home pressure to give, give without asking for anything other than "God's happiness"

The african continent will start developping itself (and graduates and workers like me will return gladly) when we first accept that we are fucked (the average Senegalese is very proud and will always hate his neighbour for not being Murid or Tidjan -Sufi currents- before not sucking on the imported European depreciated goods), that we stop focusing and promoting on useless and non productive activities like wrestling or soccer, we stop ruining ourselves (and asking our family members to ruin themselves ) over celebrations like birthdays or "sabar" (google that, you booty lovers), and stop other shit like naming fucking 60!!!! Ministers in the government.

RE: Mass starvation and famine in Africa
The funny thing is that many African countries have plenty of secret billionaires who siphoned off the wealth of those nations - it was easier to take 5 billion for your family and then give the other 95 billion to globalist corporations than to try and develop those riches for the gain of the country.

I don't see any quick solutions frankly. There are certainly smart ethical people there, but the process of raising the awareness and mental frames of the populations is a long and arduous one. Also population growth comes down naturally with prosperity and education - the globalists have other plans - vaccines, wars and then the Chinese taking over and probably one day implementing a one-child-policy. Also - I mentioned that Africa is fertile enough to feed even 7-14 billion, so this is not a food problem frankly.

Either way - things are as they are.

I think I gotta go visit Africa again - have plenty of friends and I gotta see these sabar festivities:

That ship has sailed. Only South Africa remains and it looks as if the Whites there either keep a low-profile while the country descends on all levels or there might be even a civil war.

I am not condoning colonization, but there were more profitable and less profitable conquests in human history. Europeans and the Middle East profited from the Greek, Persian and Roman conquests since they brought a lot of technology into the lands, Islamic or Mongolian conquests have done the reverse. Western colonization brought many advantages and modern technology and administration.

Some African countries may make it over time - for example countries like Togo can probably make it. Occasionally you have to take a long-term view of things. Civilizations are built over centuries and millennia.

But Africa won't get that.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-...rried.html

Quote:On June 5, 1873, in a letter to The Times, Sir Francis Galton, the cousin of Charles Darwin and a distinguished African explorer in his own right, outlined a daring (if by today's standards utterly offensive) new method to 'tame' and colonise what was then known as the Dark Continent.
'My proposal is to make the encouragement of Chinese settlements of Africa a part of our national policy, in the belief that the Chinese immigrants would not only maintain their position, but that they would multiply and their descendants supplant the inferior Negro race,' wrote Galton.
'I should expect that the African seaboard, now sparsely occupied by lazy, palavering savages, might in a few years be tenanted by industrious, order-loving Chinese, living either as a semidetached dependency of China, or else in perfect freedom under their own law.'

Galton was a scientific elite member of the globalists. His family was intermarried with the Darwins and the Huxleys.

I have read it in other books written in the 1930s again of China to take over Africa.

Globalists plan decades and centuries in advance and they seldom change a plan unless absolutely necessary.

Quote:With little fanfare, a staggering 750,000 Chinese have settled in Africa over the past decade. More are on the way.
The strategy has been carefully devised by officials in Beijing, where one expert has estimated that China will eventually need to send 300 million people to Africa to solve the problems of over-population and pollution.
The plans appear on track. Across Africa, the red flag of China is flying. Lucrative deals are being struck to buy its commodities - oil, platinum, gold and minerals. New embassies and air routes are opening up. The continent's new Chinese elite can be seen everywhere, shopping at their own expensive boutiques, driving Mercedes and BMW limousines, sending their children to exclusive private schools.
The pot-holed roads are cluttered with Chinese buses, taking people to markets filled with cheap Chinese goods. More than a thousand miles of new Chinese railroads are crisscrossing the continent, carrying billions of tons of illegally-logged timber, diamonds and gold.

That article is from 2008. The number now is probably already in the millions.

You will see this more and more:

http://www.chinaafricaproject.com/podcas...ping-ecfr/

Quote:Around 2014, the Chinese began to shift their military engagement strategy in Africa to include the deployment of combat-ready infantry units to countries like Mali and South Sudan where the United Nations is being actively targeted by Islamist radicals and partisan fighters. Although three Chinese soldiers have been killed this year in Africa, experts note these PLA combat forces are typically confined to their bases and rarely venture outside the wire. Nonetheless, the fact that the Chinese have taken that first step in redefining their role in African security operations is significant and with the imminent completion of the PLA Navy’s new outpost in Djibouti, it seems likely that this trend will continue in the coming years.

My guess is that China will do it a bit smarter by seizing control and creating corporations, building the infrastructure, then bolstering local puppet leaders who are well rewarded and protected by the Chinese army. Afterwards they will start settling people en masse who will considerably outperform the locals. Though to be fair enterprising smart Africans will profit from this tremendously too. But sooner or later they will dominate the continent.

Either way - nothing will stop this anyway (short of an Alien invasion or a massive rebellion in the West which will topple the globalist rule).

RE: Mass starvation and famine in Africa
Very interesting @Zel, thanks for that.
I will read that Daily Mail article when I get a chance.
I know Alan Watt has mentioned Francis Galton many times in his weekly updates.
Do you think the Chinese in Africa have any plans to try and prevent and hopefully reverse the clusterfuck that is massive African reproduction rates?
I know there are exceptions obviously, the more K-selected Africans (some of whom have commented already in this thread) are keeping their families small but they are not the average, families of 5, 6 and 7 kids are more like the average.
This is bad news all round, and the knock on effect in terms of mass immigration to Europe will be catastrophic for us Europeans in the coming decades, and Africa itself will struggle to cope with the burgeoning hundreds of million extra Africans who will be born in the next couple of decades.

RE: Mass starvation and famine in Africa
I wouldn't worry about overpopulation too much. As mentioned before - Africa can easily produce food for 3 times their own population. AlsO with increasing development they will cut down on birth rates.

Besides - there will be more wars coming their way - we haven't seen the truly big one with Islam yet.

Not everything the globalists do is evil. They were strongly focused on science and technology and centuries ago had to fight against the Christian church which attempted to hinder that progress.

Ah well - we will see what happens, but it certainly looks like it will be done that way.

"European levels of density"....?

Where did you learn that?

Africa is largely empty, it has some if the lowest people per hectare levels around. Only North America and South America are populated more sparse (Australia does not count in this context).

Even going by country it is obvious the place is largely empty:
[Image: Countries_by_Population_Density_in_2015.svg]

^^

These dense countries such as Egypt, Nigeria, all largely empty. First Egypt, the country is a dust bowl with 90% of the population living along the Nile, and the vast majority of the areas of the three largest cities. Nigeria, is the same size of India, double the size of California, and the country is largely empty.

It's threads like these which raise my eyebrows. We had a thread not too long ago where basics information was unpacked about the unforgiving continental area.

Africa is a vertical place, add to these sparse populations and political lines that make no sense over actual tribal lines (What are European countries? Are they not mostly tribal groupings? Aside from Belgium that has a mix of 2-3 various tribal groups, and Spain with this tribal quirks and some spillover in border areas most parts of Europe have homogenous tribal lines as their political boundaries). All those factors create a toxic mix. The vertical factors limit the ability create systems of scale. Climate and soil changes fluctuate and you have to have various agriculture methods for sustenance. The sparse populations make service delivery for (inept) Govt more challenging and costly; the tribal lines create the inability for arbitrary political lines to govern.

One example on trade...
The one reality from colonisation is that it completely fucked up natural trade and movement routes. When the British and Dutch came in, for example, they built ports and industry outposts that could easily feed into those ports. It did not matter if the certain tribes had important ports in other regions. They both wanted ports that could quickly ferry in boats in and out and link into this already established trade routes, this made lots of sense for them, but it did not make any sense for many African tribes as it disrupted already established local trade patterns. Lagos is a good example. A swampy city that was only made important by the British. Each Tribe has its historical commerce and trade outposts prior that were centres of each tribes economies for thousands of years. Lagos was just plopped onto a map and made important over the last 60 years where it has grown from a city of not even 1 million to one of the largest cities in the world at 21 million. This would have never occurred in a natural setting. Lagos is a swamp that would have only grown in importance relative to the Oil, no different as Houston to the USA, or Calgary to Canada, but it would have never been its chief city centre.

So people need to understand the piece before attempting to even put together a puzzle.

For the OP South Sudan is a shithole, an experiment of the USA to power block China by splitting the nation to embolden the radicals. It is the same usual suspects who face famine in Africa. Largely dry desert populations who have no business being clustered where they are.

It is all good though, the more misconceptions of Africa keeps skittish people away. No cucks ever go there. It is still a land for the true adventurers and it is the last place on earth to offer true opportunity you can literally trip over and stumble upon. Much of the globes opportunity is picked over or in the hands of oligarchs. In Africa you literally can stick your hand in the ground and strike gold.

Everyone continues to think Africa looks like this:

When more of Africa is coming along to looking like this:

As a black African I welcome Asian chicks with open arms.

To be honest I dont see Africans manufacturing their own cars, planes etc and build cities and towns. What we can do is manage our populations and keep the cities clean by not littering.
