how do you guys deal with numbers that go cold?

and by cold I mean she sometimes answers phone and replies to text and sometimes she doesn't. like she is still showing some interest but it's proving difficult to line up a first or second date with her

do you forget and move on?

do you risk creepiness and keep attempting to contact her regularly?

do you do something else?

Go hard and take her to the hole. Ask her to make a clear decision. Make it known (either explicitly or implicitly) that if she doesn't agree to a solid date, you are out.

See el mechanico for the amour fou text. Those are one of the feelers that you need to throw to her. Then operate from there.
If not, go out and get warm numbers.

That is what I do when leads go cold.

I wait a while, then go hard.

Mostly though, I forget about them, because I already have met 50 new girls in the meanwhile.

Fuck with me. It could mean fuck around with bullshit texts or last chance to come fuck.
I could be wrong but I think a little confusion causes interest.

You can just say..."This is your last chance"

Call her when you're tipsy at a loud party or bar so it sounds like you're having fun. If she continues bullshitting you, tell her goodbye and hang up. If she doesn't call you back then, she never will.

So you can make the call from the comfort of your home.

Side note:

I think I have come up with a bunch of great "App" businesses for the young up and comers on here.

gringochileno* also had a good random text to shoot out to cold numbers, it was just "DTF?" that's it. I think he said he got a few replies out of that. Worth a shot, IMO.

That was me, I've only had it work once (on a chick I went on 2 dates with and stopped contacting for a month) but I've also only tried it a handful of times. I might mass-text it to all my cold phone numbers sometime--even if it doesn't get me a bang there's a high potential for hilarious responses.
